One of my favorite things about this restaurant is the extensive salsa bar. There are so many great options, and I love me some chips and salsa!!! The service is pretty straightforward -- you order at the register, and they bring your food out to your table. Don't expect a lot of extra attention or over-the-top friendliness, but what they may lack in customer interaction, they definitely make up for with the food. The food is always delicious, flavorful, and satisfying. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area, and the portions and quality make it worth coming back. Great ambiance with libre masks on the walls and a very welcoming gentleman inviting us to sit down. Ordered margaritas while perusing the menu. Margs were VERY good! I noticed things on the menu I was unfamiliar with. Pack said it's cuisine from Mexico City. I ordered the Campechano (asada & chorizo) burrito and my date ordered a carnitas quesadilla. Burrito was HUGE! And extremely flavorful. Pack was quite attentive but casual and comfortable. What a gem! I will definitely be back to try other offerings from the vast menu. And another margarita of course!

Hope this is not common practice... Once it was time for payment, we were brought over a cc machine that had the screen shown "add tip" amount with the percentages showing. We were shown no bill or breakdown. It seemed $20 more than what we should be charged. I told my husband that amount wasn't right and asked to see a receipt or break down. She then went back and rolled through it. The tip had been automatically added already! So she had tried to get me to pay another gratuity on top of the original bill and gratuity. When I told her that was very misleading she mumbled something about how that was just the way it shows. I was like "If gratuity is automatically added you need to tell people. And you dont just give them a screen to add a tip without showing them the bill - that is very misleading and is more than a double tip. It was as if she was counting on us not paying attention due to 5 little kids." Luckily, I always do math in my head. My husband almost just paid it. So if you go, make sure they show you the full receipt so you can check it before you pay. And watch out to see if they add an automatic gratuity. Never seen a restaurant not show what you are paying for... and just show you a screen asking for a tip. Looked incredibly dishonest. Would love to have a manager contact me as it felt as this has been done before. No print out of the receipt was given either. So I could see them doing this often. You have no way to check it.

Last Monday we decided to have lunch there, one of our regular places is closed Mondays and this place was open so we checked it out...and we're SO SO glad we did! Atmosphere was nice and server was very friendly from the moment we walked in. First thing I noticed; $5 mimosas!! I asked if they did anything other than orange juice and yes, they had several other options so I had the cranberry version. Delicious! I went with their mac and cheese, my partner got the basic hamburger. Mac and Cheese -- definitely very bacon forward, much more than I prefer. That being said, I still liked it, it also had sour cream and green onion on top. Bacon lovers will LOOOVE this version, there is LOTS of it and every bite you can taste it. Normally I prefer my mac & cheese with no bacon or just a bit here and there, I prefer to taste more of the cheeses.....again, it still tasted good, its a good serving and I ate half and had enough to save for the next day at work. Creamy and well made, again I just prefer to taste more cheese than bacon. I wouldn't order this again but like I said, a bacon lover will LOVE this version. Now, my partner's burger was Incredible. We are PICKY with our burgers, and we both thought this one was fantastic. Big, and great ratio to the bun. He ordered it medium and asked for "a little char" and they made it perfectly. I took a bite and yeah, I'd order that for sure. The fries were great, too. Overall we were super happy with our lunch, I thought it was priced fairly as well. We will definitely be back!!

This Jack-in-the-Box is unequivocally the worst in the country. Every visit is marred by a system shutdown excuse right before closing, even though cars in front of me just placed their orders. As someone who seldom indulges in fast food, I look forward to their egg rolls, but my anticipation is consistently met with disappointment. Beyond the frustrating service disruptions, they also habitually mess up my orders. Strangely, I often receive more food than I ordered, which suggests someone else might be shortchanged. The chronic understaffing and premature closings, allegedly due to lack of personnel, highlight severe mismanagement that likely drains the franchise financially. Given the relentless operational failures and the potential impact on other customers, I feel compelled to leave this location a one-star review. Living in a small town with no alternatives only exacerbates the issue. read more

Consistent Inconsistency I've been a frequent drive-thru customer and to my surprise, today the customer service was surprisingly better than usual, which is why I'm giving them two stars instead of one. However, the order was, as usual, incorrect. Requested no pickles and received EXTRA pickles, and the absence of requested sauce (despite assurance it was included) is frustrating. The ambiance of a fast-food drive-thru, while typically mundane, is often punctuated by the satisfaction of a correct order. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of that expectation. The accuracy of orders remains a persistent issue. It's disappointing to experience such consistent inaccuracies, even with improved service. read more
