If I could leave zero stars I would. I work at a restaurant so I get sometimes they don't want to have to make milkshakes late at night, but they are literally "out of shakes" ever time I go there at night. I actually can't remember the last time I was able to get a shake there. And then when I ask the drive thru lady if they're actually out or if they just don't want to make the shakes she told me to go to McDonald's. So I actually don't know why I'm forced to give one star for shitty service and not receiving any food. Thanks b*tch, I'll go to in n out where they've never been out of shakes and they know what customer service is read more

The gentlemen helping me today were fast and professional, keep up the great customer service!!

This is without a doubt the worst fast food in placerville. I've been here a handful of times because it's the only place open late at night, and the service is terrible. I've sat at the drive through menu waiting to order for 5+ minutes without anyone acknowledging me, backed out and just gone home twice. It's amazing to me that a large chain like this would allow one of its restaurants to provide this level of service without intervention. read more

This place is a joke. Literally all I come here for is breakfast because they are suppose to serve it all day. I sat in the drive thru for 20 min to be told they couldn't serve me breakfast because then they would have to clean the grill. What? Service her is always bad but that's a new one for sure. read more

Jack in the Box - Breakfast all day...if they feel like it. - Fast Food Near Me - Placerville, California

I ordered from door dash and the store screwed up my order. I paid $20 for my combo. I asked for a chicken fijita pita with no tomato, extra chicken and extra cheese. I got tomato in it and no extra chicken or cheese. I paid about $3.50 for extra chicken so there should be extra chicken. That is total bull crap. read more

This place is terrible and in need of new employees and/or management. Usually my experiences are off, items aren't available on the menu, the ATM machines are down, or the wait is incredibly long (sometimes half an hour), even with short lines. But I was there two days in a row trying to get a gift card for a student. The first day, after we were told we couldn't order a breakfast burrito because they were out of eggs and tortillas, we were also told we couldn't get a gift card because they didn't have any on hand. The next day, I was determined to get this gift card so I decided I would go in person. I was not allowed into the dining area. I asked one of the employees if they had gift cards available. He mumbled something that I couldn't understand and then I swore I heard him say, "Did you get your breakfast items?" Now he could have been talking to the customer in the parking lot, but given the unprofessionalism, heck even decent human courtesy, I have to wonder. It feels like the employees mock customers here. After that he walked away without even acknowledging me and I left, yet again, without a gift card. I have already contacted corporate headquarters. Avoid this place if you can. I won't be back. read more

Saturday, 755,this car has been in front of me for atleast 5-6 minutes and going with no word from this jack in the box. ‍ I'm about to be doomed to the same bs. I get to the window and I order, No Tacos ‍‍‍‍ NO TACOS. read more

Horrible staff! Spilled soda all down the side of my car door in the drive threw didn't even apologize just handed me napkins. They have a sign up in drive threw "if your order is over $30 come inside!" read more

My wife and I ordered a breakfast combo and a second sandwich. Jennifer refused to pay attention to what we wanted for order 493 on 5/17/19. We had to repeat the order several times. This woman was paying zero attention to what we wanted. I will not go back into that restaurant when she is working because she has such a lousy, unhelpful attitude. read more

If I could give no stars that's what I would give this Jack in the Box. I don't expect spectacular service from a fast food place but this was beyond ridiculous. We stood at the counter for more than five minutes waiting to be helped in which employees just kept walking back and forth past us. Finally a young kid came back from his break or lunch and helped us. He took our order and before we were able to pay, the register froze and restarted. Not his fault so we weren't worried about it. This is where things just got WAY worse. The manager was cooking in the back and the young kid went and asked her for help. What does she say? "Just leave it alone, stop fucking things up!" All while still working in the back. And yes, she did yell this at him while he was standing in front of us. The kid looked absolutely embarrassed and sad. He restarted the register and then she came out and told him to not screw things up again because she didn't have time for this. I was shocked. After another 5 minutes of waiting we decided to go elsewhere. read more

The worst jack in the box i ever been to. Came inside to order very little food and waited 10 minutes for anyone to come take my order. And food took 15 minutes. Took up my whole lunch. Worst service ever only had 1 girl doin cashier and drive thru, which she only focused on drive thru when inside the line was building up. Ill never come back here. Only gave one star because i had to. read more

What can you say? It's another example of corporate tastebud terrorism. I might go through there from time to time if I need a gut filler - their dollar menu makes it a cheap feed. But - the drive thru is excruciatingly slow, the help is so dim-witted that you wish they'd hire the handicapped (it would be a step up), and I think they only clean the dining area whenever they set the clocks back. Am I being overly harsh? Maybe - back in my youth I was a manager for Jack. I know what is involved in running one. This one is mismanaged. read more

It's a hack in the box, so it's only as good as hack as be; however; they are friendly people; so their best. Overall it's not a bad one. It's better than most jacks; friendly good people. I mean, it isn't 5 star fusion, but for jack, it's the best hack you'll get. So it's good I'm book. Get some tacos and churros and call it a day! Download the app if you're poor read more

Great place to go if you want to be stranded in a drive thru line for an hour just so you can receive a wrong order. The level of capability and intelligence of the "staff" is so shockingly inadequate that it is truly amazing that they haven't managed to burn down the place. Plus they do not no how to reorder because they are always out of everything. Amazing that people still go there. read more

If I could give half a star I would. I tied to add something to my order and apparently this jack in the box is the only fast food spot that won't do that. Didn't even get offered a solution to come in and pay and they would start to make it. Just very rude and even the cashier at the window had a bad attitude. We didn't even pay just drove off. You want to help your customers not inconvenience them and make a huge deal of something every where does. The so called manager who came over with no name tag told me if he adds something to the order he will get fired. I highly doubt that any company would inconvenience their customers like this. Will not be going back ever. read more

To be clear, we love Jack In The Box food, but the owner of this restaurant should have his Jack franchise license revoked. This review is a result of a culmination of several visits over the course of about five or so years. We have NEVER had a good experience ordering food from this restaurant. NOT ONE! Almost every visit has resulted in an extended wait for our meals, likely due to under-staffing. Sometimes we waited for our order for more than 20 minutes! There was one time we simply walked out because the line was not moving. We would go back every so often with the hope they would improve. That never happened. The food itself never seems up to par with other Jack restaurants and doesn't ever seem very fresh which is unsettling. Another of the most troubling issues with this restaurant is that it never seems very clean. If things don't seem sanitary in the dining area, how clean can the actual kitchen be? In full disclosure, it has been a couple of years since we patronized this Jack, so it is entirely possible that it has improved, but we seriously doubt it. The last time we walked out, that was it for us and we vowed to never return. Although it is located in a nice shopping center and we drive by this Jack several times per week, we will drive out of our way to dine or pick up take out elsewhere. Finally, there is no reason in the world this restaurant can't be cleaned up and straightened out with new ownership and management. read more

I've spent most of my life in the service industry, mainly in restaurants. It isn't easy to please people 100% of the time, especially in a fast food situation like this. With that being said, our experience tonight was exceptionally great. We had a fairly large order that required extra time for us to wait in front. They missed a small portion of our order, but quickly handled it without any issues. The manager was extremely forthcoming in trying to help us, going above and beyond with her service to make the order right. I recognize that the staff here was doing their best to keep up with heavy demand, yet treated us like we were top priority the whole time. No attitudes, just appreciation for our business. You can't ask for much more than that. My family and I will continue to come back! Thank you guys! Cheers! read more

Slow and Understaffed. That sums it up. I ahve gone in twice now, the first time, we waited over 20 minutes for out breakfast. It seamed to us, that they were more worried abot the drivethrough than walkup customers. Tried agin this past Saturday, 8:30 AM, I dropped my wife off and went across to Safeway to fill up on gas for a trip. I filled the gas tank, washed windows, and headed back to Jacks. Went inside and my wife had not even ordered yet. This was 10-15 miuntes after I dropped her off!!! She said there were only 2 people working, a cook and a cashier. We left and drove down to El Dorado Hills Jacks and drove right up to the drive through window. Our order was made quick and we were on our way in less than 5 minutes read more

I have been sitting in the drive-through line for almost 15 minutes! Have never been to a fast food restaurant this slow! Was just told that they are "very busy" and they will be with me shortly. They did come back pretty quick to take my order, unlike the car in front of me who sat there at least five minutes if not a little longer before it appeared that he even placed his order read more

I only gave them one star because selecting ZERO was not an option! This store SUCKS! I spent 25 minutes in their drive thru trying to get my food and this is not the first time! Their management is completely incompetent and their employees look like they were drug off the street and slapped into a uniform! As an added bonus today, they were out of FRIES! What?? So stupid! Corporate needs to step in and retrain this Owner because they clearly do not give a rats A$$ about the quality of the food or their customer service!! NEVER GOING BACK!!! read more

Typical Jack in the box. However I rarely "dine in," I usually just hit the drive through. I and I think everyone else in here, were surprised by the trailer park girl drive through workers foul mouth that we all had to listen to throughout our dining experience. Not that anything she was saying offends me personally, but I am sure the elderly people and people with children were not impressed. read more

The worst Box! I had given this place many tries sometimes being satisfied but mostly being disappointed! A few times I had arrived 15-mins or more before closure & yet they were already closed WTF! My latest visit and yet once again "we are out of lettuce for tacos" makes me think BAD management not to mention the forgotten items over the years... Last but not least we don't accept Discover cards here... Really??? 2017!!! read more

I would not even give a star if that was a option. Not proud I went here. It was my first time ever going to a jack in the box. I will probably not be back. They were rude over the speaker. My children commented on it right away. It's sad when it's that obvious. Head to another fast foot spot if that's what you need. Skip this place. I was the only car in the line and they still asked me to drive to the front to wait for food. read more

Helllllo I'm standing right in front of you!!! I see you looking at me. You should say hello someone will be right with you instead of just smirk. Probably why this place never has any cars in the parking lot of drive thru. Garbage garbage garbage. read more

Terrible wait in drive up. 3 of cars had to leave. Not 1 we will visit again. Sad as it used to be fast and good.

Went there with my fiance last night just to have a quick bite before stopping at Wal-Mart BIG MISTAKE their always slow and unfriendly manager was really rude they were out of dr pepper there always out of something. So someone isn't ordering things correctly. Shortly after I got home I started feeling sick and now today I'm at work with an upset stomach. Thanks a lot I will never eat there again. read more

Really love the customer service here! The manager accidentally dropped my 7 piece jalepeno poppers on the floor but inside of giving me the dirty ones, he cooked me another batch. The staff here is so nice, they are always polite and friendly. They speak to you like you're their friend. I always drive away with a smile on my face. The food tastes like fast food should, and the drive through isn't the fastest, but I'll wait a little longer to be treated well. We don't go here often, but I always leave happy when we do. read more

Cold curly fries... Iced coffee not filled up... And what's the deal with the staff?

This place should have negative stars- but yelp does not give you that option. This Jack in the Box is consistently the slowest , poorest run Jack in the Box on the face of the earth- on top of that the employees treat you like they are doing you a favor by serving you. Calls to the "Jack" line only result in a manager call back to offer you free food on your next visit. Stay away this place honestly sucks!! read more

This is the most horrible fast food reasturant around. We got in here at 5:20pm they didn't even take our order until 5 30 pm. Then took over 30 minutes to get the crappy food. Then guess what it was all wrong. There is nothing but attitude from these employees. When we took our order up to get it fixed. Took 15 minutes to make it. Then guess what still wrong. Took back up there got nothing but attitude from this little girl behind the counter. The place is a mess. People are going behind the counter with no uniforms. I will never come here again. And I'm telling everyone I know. And calling corporate. There was one of their girlfriends or wives in the lobby saying my husband was the secret shopper. Lmao and they still didn't care. Horrible horrible mean rude people. Then when my husband was done with his burger, guess what was in the sauce a penny. read more

Fast is not in their vocabulary at this "fast" food restaurant. 20 minutes waiting for 3 breakfast sandwiches and hash browns. Not even busy and they'll still probably get the order wrong. And this is typical. Time for new (or rather, actual) management. And of course, finally received our order and its wrong. read more

Definately my favorite fast food place absoleutely love the curly fries. Every burger is just mouth wateringly juicy. My fries are alway so fresh you feel the extreme heat still with in them. My soda is never flat and always well portioned ice. I order a rootbeer float and the mixture was perfect. The employee was wonderful super helpful. Acknowledged me immediately and made that I had everything I need ed and mad sure that I received the dipping sauce that I liked. My order was out in moments super fresh, hot, nicely packaged and just absolutely amazing the taste was incredible. Also the new jack splash is such a delisious flavor a brilliant mixture most definitely. I will definately be returning for more. read more

boy with curly hair in drive through was so sexy. he helped me with all of my problems and he was so dreamy

This is still our regular stopping point on our way to Tahoe because it's right next to a Chevron and you can get your food fast and be on your way. The employees are always friendly, but almost every time we go there, there's an employee smoking right outside. Gross!!! She doesn't even move away from the door and the smell of smoke permeates through the entry way. That has to be violating health codes. read more

Just wanted to add that a while back I ordered a speciality burger and it wasn't quite right and called to let them know and they said come in and well make it right. So about a month later I came in and ordered some food and they were absolutely catering to my needs the food was delicious and I even gave my dog a little surprise so it was very nice to see that they were about making a wrong right. And I believe the lady's name was Becky Joe but she was very accommodating and I really appreciated it read more

I have been going to this Jack in the Box for 14 years. Although in the recent few years service has been pretty good in the past I have had many issues with drive through wait times being way way too long and the typical getting my order wrong. I went there today. I ordered 2 jumbo jacks (no cheese) $2.49 ea., 8 regular tacos (2 pk. $1.19 ea.), and one large seasoned curly fry $3.29. The drive thru guy says that will be $18.67 and didn't respond to me at the order microphone when I told him that the price was wrong. I went to the window and the girl said that will be $18.67, I said no it's not, it should be $13.03 + tax (as the line was so long I added it up while waiting). She said let me get my manager. The manager came out and said "did you order the combo?", I said no. She said "well it's cheaper so we gave you two jumbo jack combos with two curly fries minus the drinks". I said no its not and that is not what I ordered. She then kind of rudely said "sir, there is a long line, do you want your order or not", like I'm being told that I have to pay more for something that I didn't order. Needless to say I said "not" and drove off. That's the final straw with this Jack in the Box. I'll never go back there again. Too bad as Jack in the Box is my favorite fast food joint and has been for about 40 years. I guess I'll have to just visit the one in Folsom when I'm down there. Someone should fire that manager! Female, short blond hair, didn't get her name, what an idiot. read more
