I go to this Jack in the Box quite often and I have always been satisfied with my service and experience here. I sometimes eat inside but I mostly use the drive thru. I think the thing that helps is using the Jack in the Box app to help speed things along. The staff here is always friendly too. If there's an issue with my order, which rarely happens, they take care of it. I definitely recommend this location. It's a good spot. read more

I went this morning to get the breakfast platter. I normally get it because it's only five dollars and I get it with sausage. today She asked me if I wanted both and I said screw it. I'll take both today and when I got to work, all I had was bacon instead of it being five dollars it was 7.99 just to have both. Yet I had three measly pieces of bacon. I have a long day at work down the street working construction. I guess I'll just be hungry until lunch. I called to tell them they made a mistake and I got no answer. I frequent Jack In The Box, I'm an on the go person, I like the product (tasty) and convenient. Service is hit and miss, however generally good and friendly. As far as service today it was not good and unfriendly. I ordered and paid, only after I paid, I was directed to the front to wait I asked how long is the wait I was told 7 minutes. As a customer I offered a suggestion; please let me know up front that there's a wait so I can order something else or move on, the manager approached the window and asked if I wanted to wait or a refund I asked 7 minutes the manager replied it's 2 minutes. I waited the manager brought the order more than 2 a minute not really an issue once food is in hand. I said most places apologize and some even offer a complimentary coupon for the inconvenience. The manger responded this happens all the time and I've been doing this 5-8 years nobody is going to tell how to do my job. As a costumer I want to feel like Jack In the Box values me and cares about my experience. Today I was the next guy in line and processed along my way. I was jovial in my approach and was just providing information on what my expectations are as customer regarding waiting while ordering at the drive through. From tacos and cheeseburgers to one of the first fast food restaurants. They offer onion rings yummy! Young Hispanic night manager was very unprofessional. I ordered their number 13 which shows on their drive thru and in store menu as Chicken Strips (5), I was told their system shows it as 4. When I pulled around showing a picture of their menu that shows 5, she said, "We don't give free food to people, we don't go by the sign we go by the computer" I was pretty insulted by her accusation of me trying to scam free food while showing her their printed drive thru menu and their in store menu that clearly shows 5. I wasn't wanting to make a big deal about this at all, but when she made accusations like that it made me pretty upset. The guy at the window was great and clearly had the better people skills with customer service. Maybe this store needs to think about restructuring their management and promote a more mature person to manage their restaurant. read more

Growing up I loved Jack in the Box, but as I got older Jack in the Box didn't like me. They have a lot of great selections, but the only thing my stomach can handle are the chicken entrees and jalapenos. The burgers kick my butt. read more

They really need to clean out their ice tea machine or not use the same one that make the coffee. The tea was cloudy and tasted like watered down coffee. This has happened several times. Because of this we no longer go to this location. read more

When traveling across California on the 46 or on the 101 I have my weird little routines which save me time and allow for both rest stops and a stretch. I like this spot. Staff are always helpful and friendly in the visits I have made recently. This Jack in the Box is off 46 and 101 and right about 1/2 way for me. I like J in B coffee because Starbucks' is so strong. This place is dirty just like the other reviews had mentioned. Service was slow. No air conditioning inside on a hot day. I was bummed that the cheese steak place was closed on a Sunday. I was hungry and chose the closest place. My advice? Don't waste your time or money here. Plenty of other restaurants close by. read more

I contacted both the San Luis Obispo DA's office and Jack in the Box Corporate after my visit to this restaurant. The latter was very professional and helpful in responding to my concerns and I did receive compensation. This allowed me to tell the DA's office that the price complaint had been resolved. The restaurant advertised on the window a combination for $3.49 and I ordered two of this item. We were charged $8.99. $7 plus tax is not $8.99. When we complained, we were told by the manager in rapid succession that 1) this is a franchise restaurant, 2) the extra money is "tax" and 3) to please leave the store as we were interfering in the business. I immediately asked for a full refund. The manager took the receipt from my hand (!) and went in the back of the store. Only when I loudly explained that I was going to call the Paso Robles Police Department and swear out a theft complaint, was our money actually refunded. __In loose change__. I had paid with a $10. I asked for a receipt and was told that since there had been no transaction, there was no receipt. I can only conclude that the manager is the owner or an owner's relative. I'm grateful in retrospect as I shudder to think of the quality of the kitchen, if the customer service is so poor. read more
