Chicken club & burger
Julie L.

The restaurant is big and atmosphere is welcoming. The food is typical and standard fare. I've been here a few times and everytime I found that the pricing is a bit high for what you get and taste is just okay. The food is not bad but not great either. Given the price and the quality, I only go when friends want to eat at this place.

Epic Chicken Caesar Salad + Buffalo chicken burger

We love Jack's! Lansdowne & hunt club. Can't go wrong with their bowtie pasta, Caesar salad or just some sauced up chicken tenders. I prefer 'em hot! Service is always amazing & efficient. Love the fun, chill environment. And the crayons and table paper to draw on

Got the chicken tacos again and absolutely love them! Will definitely continue to get these.

Boss Hog burger with poutine

The perfect amount of gluttony when you come to Jack Astor's. Tried the Boss Hog burger with poutine. Nothing better than a burger with a sausage cut in half and bacon, except when you get a woven tower of poutine! Service was great and they even brought us a free app for the inconvenience of having to wait for an extra table for our reservation. Would definitely recommend coming here for a good atmosphere and good food.

Smokey BBQ bacon cheese burger without the buns, the hot banana peppers on the side and a cesar salad for a side dish

Our (7ppl) first time at this location & enjoyed each of our holiday diners. A very nice server (Jaz) helped to make our stay a pleasant one. She was friendly and attentive. For my dinner pick, I had the Smokey BBQ bacon cheese burger (opted for a bunless burger) & had a cesar salad as my side. The combination was satisfying. And I managed to eat all of my dinner because I decided to skip the buns. Finished dinner feeling full but not too full that I feel sick. It was also nice that we had crayons for drawing on our paper table cloth. Goodtimes had by all.

Great restaurant with a huge variety of food! Consider Jack Astor's like a step up from a Montana's or a Kelsey's, they have great meals and their options are always excellent. We were there with a large group for a birthday party, another party was late leaving so we had to wait for our second table. The staff were more than accommodating and provided us with an app to chew on while we waited, no problems. After ordering, the food and drinks came pretty quick and everything was excellent. Have been before, and will definitely be back!

Always a good time stopping here while in the area on Hunt Club. The service is awesome and the food really works. Better than many of the other chains in the region.

Service is the worst. One waitress in a low cut shirt flirting with old men for tips. Some food…read morecame out hot, some cold even though it all came out at the same time. The best thing about this place is the half time appetizers, yet I had to look online to see the specials because she didn't even mention them. The mozzarella sticks came out cold... Like refrigerator cold - then after asking to reheat them, the cook (very polite) brought them out and they were empty inside.

This is a pretty sketchy place off of meadowlands and fisher, but it's a good dive bar…read more The atmosphere of the place is really sketchy, it'll range anywhere from older men who speak broken English very aggressively and are hitting on the waitresses or any girls in sight. Sometimes you'll see some student the students keep to themselves. They are mostly there because there is a very high student population in the area. There are Some billiard tables in the back but there is always a huge line up and quite often some of the balls are missing... My friends and I used to go here all the time on Monday nights because they had .25 cent wings. The wings were never great but they were never bad. They have a lot more favours now and I usually get the honey garlic which has a lot of sauce but the wings are sometimes so fried that I find that they are very tought to eat through. However with the price of wings, I can't complain. (They are now .35 cents a wing). However you have to remember that it is only that price if you buy a drink with it. Their drinks are fairly cheap and on Mondays they have 4$ bottles of Canadian and every once in a while the bar wil run some cool promos such as a free glass with the purchase of a specific drink. My friends and I have been there before for the karaoke as well which is also very sketchy with much older folk coming in and singing songs that I had never heard of. We did have a good time with each other as we were able to sing a lot of songs but it was weir being the only ones there under 40. The same night I went for karaoke was the last night I went since I found 3 flies in my drink. When i told the waitress, she simply shrugged and gave me a new drink. I didn't drink it because I did not trust it. The only reason why I am giving it this high a star is because it is quite convienent to get to by bus and driving and the prices are low.
