Order wings for takeout....seems the chickens who donated the wings were amputees as the order was almost all wingettes with just two drumettes. My guess is someone else had a great order of wings......recommend that if you get take out from this location you check the order before accepting...at least for wings. read more

Their patio is open! I recommend calling for reservation as walk ins may have to wait an hour or two. Ordered veggie burger. It was really a vegan gluten free burger. Takeout presentation? Food was put into a paper bag that was neatly folded. Abundance of fries. More than expected. I honestly didn't like the gluten free bun. I should have asked for regular bun. Stopped in for a quick dinner tonight before a curling game. I ordered a tomato bisque soup to start, it was decent, I would order it again. Today is Tuesday, which means that the specials are "half price wings (1 lbs)" and "kids eat free". I noticed that there are three different types of wings on the menu: boneless, breaded, and original. I asked if all of the wings are on special, our server explains that only the original wings are half off, the breaded wings are $8.50 (instead of $14, I believe) and the boneless wings aren't on discount at all. Why? The boneless wings are the exact same price as the original wings, $13 per pound. Why wouldn't they be half price too, or at least $8.50 like the breaded wings? It makes zero sense to me, which is why I gave this place three stars. Get your act together, guys. Wings are wings. If they're the same price on the menu regularly, offer them at a discount on wing night! Our server was polite and courteous. The restaurant was busy but not too loud. I would visit again. read more

A perfectly unexpected gem on the road between Ottawa and Montreal. The food was wonderful (wings, flatbread, and pulled pork sandwich). Had the sandwich day one and was so impressed I went back the next day after fishing for Muskies! Bartender/waitress Danika was THE BEST. Friendly, funny, attentive, and made THE BEST Caesar I've had in Canada (and I've had a lot!). The staff are super friendly, the drinks are wonderful, and the food is great! I loooove their Broadway skillet. It's so good! I get it every time we come and also have ordered it in many times and it's still great.

Came here for lunch with co-workers. I have been to other Broadway locations in the city and while I do enjoy breakfast, Broadway's are not my favourite. So while everyone else ordered breakfast dishes, I went for the Greek salad with grilled chicken. I'm not sure if the waitress was new, but the service was not the bed. Many of us asked for glasses of water (no pop or coffee) and she only brought one. It was... odd. It was a while before the rest of us got our glasses of water. The food came in decent time and I was surprisingly pleased with my salad, although there was a bit too much feta cheese for my taste (I know right, too much cheese?? What??). The pita with tatziki sauce on the side was a really nice added touch. The chicken was grilled perfectly and the lettuce was crisp and fresh! The waitress seemed to disappear at some point, after she took our empty plates away, we didn't see her for a good 15 minutes. We were in a hurry to get our bills and get back to the office. I'd hope that if I came back here for lunch, the service might be a bit better. But I would definitely order the greek salad again. read more

My 2nd day in Canada and my Aunt brought me here. Apparently the best breakfast around. I got bacon, home fries, pouched egg and fruit. Dina's something I think this brekkie was called?!?! Home fries were good, pouched eggs were good but the bacon was pretty greasy. I was not impressed. I have a feeling I will be back here at some point during my 2 years in Canada so I hope they impress me a little more. Am I just an ex pat who is already comparing everything to back home? Broadway's is great for breakfast! I have a regular reoccurring meeting here every Monday morning and the breakfast is spot on each time. Nicely cooked eggs, great bacon, simple and easy. It's not quite a sports bar, not quite a family restaurant, I'm really not sure how to classify Broadways and since I have only ever been here for breakfast, it's generally families, couples or other meetings seated around us. The restaurant is very accommodating when we asked that the music be turned down in our section - they even did one better and turned off the speaker above us completely - well done Broadways! If you are looking for a networking meeting space, or simply somewhere to go in Riverside South, it's a great little spot! read more

This place has been open before I was born and that's almost two decades I believe. The food quality to me has gone down since I was a child. I would not come here for lunch or supper but only for breakfast. The prices are fare for breakfast and I enjoy the coffee. There is a variety of selection on the breakfast menu. I came here with a group of about six girls for a long overdue get together. I called the morning of for a reservation and they were happy to accommodate us despite the fact that it was a game night. The place itself isn't bad. It's definitely got a sports bar feel to it, and is pretty standard as far as chains go. We had a great corner booth which was great initially, but once the game started it was so loud it wouldn't have mattered where we sat. But no points docked there, it's a great place to watch the game! Our server was super sweet and kind, and was super accommodating about the fact that our group all showed up and ordered at different times. She got all our orders correct despite the bit of chaos and checked on us frequently enough that we were all satisfied, but she wasn't intrusive at all. Where this place fell flat was definitely the food. I should have guessed that something generic like a grilled chicken wrap wouldn't be fantastic, but it was actually almost downright bad. The veggies didn't taste fresh and I wasn't a fan of the dressing they used. The onion rings were also super battered, but had zero flavor. My friend split her sweet potato fries with me, which were the one thing that were pretty delicious! They have a pretty large menu, and I bet their other menu options are better. I've been here for dinner awhile back and remember it being quite good, and I know Boradway does a great breakfast, so I would come back for that. That wrap and onion rings though? I've been to this restaurant/bar a few times. Most of the time it was for dinner, but I have been here for breakfast once too. The only thing I have to say about this place is average. It has nothing outstanding, but at the same time nothing really bad either. The service was average, the food was average. Broadway's is popular for breakfast, particularly for their home fries, but we're actually a bigger fan of Jonny Canuck's, so we came here for wings and snacks instead. We ordered a pitcher of red wine sangria (option of red or white), a single order of breaded medium wings, and the new slider combos. There's a selection of three different sliders - pulled pork with coleslaw, meatball with meat sauce and provalone cheese, and crispy chicken in Sriracha with provalone cheese and roasted garlic aioli. The sangria had a lot of ice and tasted watered down, but was still on the sweeter side. Not bad but not the best. A pitcher was fine and refreshing enough for the two of us on a hot day on the patio. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the sliders. It was nice to see something new on the menu, but these were kind of a flop for me. Just to clarify, these sliders are just mini versions of the sandwiches and aren't a burger plus these toppings (ex. the pulled pork one is just pulled pork and slaw, not a beef patty plus pulled pork). I got one of each to try them all. The pulled pork actually had a pretty good flavor and the coleslaw wasn't too creamy or too sour, probably my favorite slider in overall taste. The meatball slider was the worst one by far. It was one small meatball cut in half, with barely any sauce at all, and some melted cheese, which was the only thing keeping it from being so dry. It was bland, had a rubbery texture, and tasted much like a beef ball in Vietnamese pho, which I normally like, but not here/like this. I'd be very surprised if they made them themselves and they tasted as though they were cooked from frozen. The crispy chicken was the heartiest slider. It's basically a breaded chicken breast tender, thick and definitely crispy, but it wasn't tossed in the hot sauce and only had it spread on top. I wish they had done more with the Sriracha and it didn't need the cheese. It could've used a piece of fresh lettuce or something like a chicken burger would have to offset the fried flavor/texture. In general, really small portions that I didn't find to be worth the price. It may have been different if I stuck to either the pulled pork or crispy chicken, or maybe a combination of both. The server did warn me that these two were good and that she had never tried the meatball one because it didn't seem appetizing - and it wasn't. The wings, on the other hand, were really great. I was tempted to place another order myself with the whiskey BBQ sauce, but I remembered from the last time that if you have leftovers, the sauce tends to separate and tastes a little too much of whiskey. They are a good size, crispy, and tender. I would definitely come back just for the wings! Maybe even a double order next time (you also save an extra dollar) :) read more

Went there with my wife. Wasn't sure what to expect. Staff was great actually. It was fathers day and we were able to get a pretty good table right away. I think the food just needs a bit more TLC. I had a chicken and waffle sandwich, which should have been delicious but the waffles were honestly tasteless. Made from a secret recipe that has roots in Greece these tasty little seasoned bits of potato will keep you wanting more. The place is family friendly and has ample seating.
