It happened so fast that it did not show up on our rear view camera nor did our sensors go off. It looked like we had it all clear! The other driver asked my husband, "Didn't you see me backing up?" Funny she had no bulbs or covers for her rear back up lights. She later falsely claimed she honked her horn when saw us back up. We never heard it. If she saw us backing up then why didn't she pull back into her parking spot? We suspect she threw her car in reverse without even looking back! Anyhow, you can see the damage in the photos. My poor Nissan Pathfinder! We came to this shop again due to our previous positive experience here. As always Consuelo took care of us and was as friendly and professional as before. She coordinated with the insurance company and took care of everything. It took under 2 weeks to repair, which allowed for time to order parts and take to the actual repair shop. We feel we get great value for the money. Once again, they did not disappoint. We cannot sing their praises enough. Been taking all my vehicles to another shop for YEARS. Every time I go there I question my…read moredecisions. This shop is okay but the vehicle often has to go back for this or that. Recently, I took my older vehicle over there for A/C diagnosis. He told me it was fine. It wasn't. I suggested maybe the freon needed to be recharged as the vehicle is older and has never had the A/C serviced. Nope. Not possible. This week I took it to him for a misfire situation. The problem was easily repeatable and definitely seemed like spark. No, he told me it's the transmission. I took it to the transmission shop and they read the codes and told me it needed a tune up. I told them I was done with this other shop and recommend a place. They recommended Bird Family Auto. I went over and discussed my issues with Jessica. She listened, didn't make me feel dumb for my suggestions and told me they'd take care of it. A few days later I picked up the vehicle. It's running stronger than ever, no more misfires and the A/C is blowing ICE COLD after a recharge. She even called me and asked me if I was due for an oil change. I told her yes but I had oil and filter at home. She told me to bring it by and they did it at no extra charge. Even returned the unused oil. I will never go anywhere else.

They don't have payment plans of their own but you can do Affirm on your own through Apple Pay. The mechanic and owner, Roger, was very kind and thorough in explaining what he was doing and what he recommended next (but also wasn't pushy on other possible repairs like I've seen from other mechanics). I had many questions and he answered them with patience and helpfulness. He even invited me back to show me and explain what he did and some potential issues. I haven't had a mechanic do that before. Also, while I was back there, the garage was clean and appeared organized, which I appreciated. I felt the mechanic was trustworthy and honest about the work he was doing and its costs. My car had been sitting at the shop for six weeks. It originally went in for battery problems, and then were told it's turned into an electrical problem. For six weeks, we were repeatedly told, "It'll be ready tomorrow," then the next day, then the next day, with absolutely no resolution. There were multiple times we had to reach out ourselves just to find out what was happening because communication from the shop was essentially nonexistent. After six weeks, my car still wasn't fixed so we finally decided to throw in the rag with this place and take it to the Honda dealership. When picking it up, we were actually told that we shouldn't take it to Honda because their technicians "aren't very good." That was especially ironic considering my car had been sitting at this shop for six weeks without being repaired...pretty rich coming from you!!!! The condition of my car when I went to retrieve my belongings was also disappointing. All of the windows had been left rolled down, and there was dirt throughout the inside of the car. The lack of communication, extremely poor service, repeated missed timelines, and overall lack of accountability were incredibly frustrating. It's especially disappointing because we had trusted this shop for years under the previous ownership. Do not take your car here, it is nothing but terrible communication & disappointment!!!!!!
