Offers lots of special sushi rolls, good quality bento box and yummy ramen. Service is attentive and friendly. They have $7 daily and monthly roll which is a good deal. We had mild monkey roll, salmon lover roll, sweet fire roll, and hurricane roll. They are all flavorful. We also had the sushi bento ( 3 pics sushi & 8 pics spicy tuna, tempura and salad ) and tonkotsu ramen. The soup base is pretty yum!

So good! I came by while I was waiting for an oil change. Their menu is huge, almost overwhelming. Service was great! Prices vary from your basic 5.99 Cali up to $15 for a fancy baked roll. Definitely would return.

udon noodle soup and gold dragon roll!

i came for my first ever lunch special and was SO impressed. every day, a new roll is $6.99 all the way up to february of next year and it's worth it if you're like me and unable to appreciate a change in palette worrying about whether you're wasting your money or not. service is lovely as always. had two new servers who are quick to greet you and seat you. lovely atmosphere as per usual. favorite spot to get some writing done. not a huge fan of the noodle soup however. the egg smell is a little too overpowering for me

Beef Yakisoba

Went here on a Thursday evening around 5:30. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away. Our servers were friendly. However for it not being busy, the food did take a little while to come out. I ordered the Beef Yakisoba which I really enjoyed! The noodles were seasoned just right in my opinion. The beef was also nice and tender too! The dish was overall very flavorful. Also for the price, the portion wasn't too bad either.

First time here and the Hot Cheeto Roll was very good! We also got ramen. Overall great food, vibe and hospitality! I would recommend here!

Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. Rolls were delicious. Would name them for you, but the waitress ended up messing up our receipts..gave us the wrong one, gave us the right one but then charged the wrong one, then eventually got it right. It appeared to be a genuine accident, but just pay attention to your bill. Overall, service was quick. It is a small place, so expect to have a small wait if you go for a dinner during the weekend.

The food here is delicious, from Sushi to Ramen to their specialty bowls. Their service is quick, friendly, and always with a smile. This place is a machine consistently turning out good food.

Soooo delish!

It's really unfortunate, but the last few times I've visited JSushi they didn't honor the VIP discount for me. I tried messaging them to assist with this problem and they completely ignored me. I also asked for the manager to call me back and left my phone number with one of the staff members, but again no call. I'm not sure if they switched ownership, but this isn't it.

Hands down, the best sushi and rolls in the Brea area! Everything was so fresh and well prepared. I don't like sushi places that drown their dishes in heavy sauces that mask the flavor of the sushi. This place excels at keeping the sushi true to its essence--not overpowering, yet incredibly fresh in taste. Their service is exceptional, with the friendliest servers. The restaurant was sparkling clean and tidy, which is a must for me. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the udon! (sadly, no pic) Their noodle soup was surprisingly pleasing. I expected a store-bought base with an MSG-heavy taste, but they do it differently. The soup was flavorful and had a clean taste. I even asked the server, and they mentioned that they make the broth from scratch. That's a huge plus for me! 100% returning back!

Patiently waiting for my to-go order!

Once I tried their sushi for the first time, they quickly became one of my favorites in OC. They fly their fish in every Friday and you can literally taste the freshness. Over the times I've visited, I've tried basically the whole menu but a couple in particular are my favorites. I always start off with the Blue crab appetizer that's wrapped with salmon on the outside and asparagus. Their sushi rolls are all solid here--I can't recommend the signature Chubby roll enough. And if you're feeling adventurous, they even have Tuna bone marrow shots which are actually such a nice palate cleanser! And, of course, the star of the show is the Chubby sashimi platter. Each piece is thiccc and melts in your mouth and even comes with sweet shrimp and uni. This spot is genuinely a 10/10, so if you haven't tried it, like I said, you're definitely missing out! We ordered the Chubby Sashimi ($65) to share between two people. The sashimi tasted fresh, but the sweet shrimp head was not deep fried enough so parts of the shell was not edible. I didn't like that it didn't come with rice. Service was just okay. They never once refilled our waters and both of our glasses were empty before we even finished our meal. Overall, this place was not bad but not great.

Since having kids, our restaurant outings have become much less frequent, so it felt especially meaningful to return to a place we used to love. We had such an amazing time! We came with our two young children, and Masako, the owner, was incredibly warm and kind from the moment we arrived. She welcomed us with a level of genuine hospitality that feels increasingly rare these days. Masako and Tom both went above and beyond to make sure our family was comfortable and well taken care of. The food was excellent, and the care they showed us made the whole evening even more special. It is rare to come across such generous and kindhearted people. A highlight of the night was dessert for my daughter, who has a dairy allergy and usually cannot enjoy desserts at most restaurants. Masako thoughtfully made her a dairy-free version of the Oreo tempura, which meant so much to us. She absolutely loved it. Also, the sashimi latina sauce was so delicious that we saved the extra sauce and kept dipping our rolls in it. What used to be one of our favorite restaurants has now become our new favorite all over again. Thank you, Masako and Tom, for such a wonderful evening and for making our family feel so cared for.

So we found this place and it was in the same vicinity and yay, they took reservations. Made reservations same day for a 18:30 seating. Service is impeccable. We were welcomed with hot towels, and this impressed me: when our server asked if we wanted cold or hot water. Love it! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you.
