We should have recognized a potential problem right off the bat after we signed a contract and we were not getting the OK for the building permits. In February of 2019, the contractor told me to call the county myself. In 24 hours after that call, we had our permits.This was just the start. The contractor completely cut corners in the construction, did not follow the architectural plans, and did not show up for the project for months at a time and finally just abandoned the project.
