Unfortunately during inspection, we learned this roof was at the end of its 20 year life. Luckily we upgraded our general inspection to spend extra time on the roof & found a lot of issues before things could have gotten much worse. His wonderful crew cleaned the gutters, installed an ice & water shield membrane on the entire roof, a new 30lb underlayment, added cdx plywood to make the slope transition smooth, fixed a ton of random issues and used magnets on our entire property to make sure there werent any leftover nails or screws that would hurt our kids or dogs. I double checked and couldnt find any. This winter will be much cozier with the extra insulation we upgraded to with this new roof. Nothing like having a brand new roof over your head. As I say that, I cant help but feel sad for friends & people in FL as they start the slow process of rebuilding their homes and finding shelter. We have so much to be grateful for and dont take it for granted. Many ppl complain businesses but I wanted to recognize AR for job well done! I highly recommend Roberto and his crew. There are a lot of roofers out there but we wanted to support someone local in Twin Peaks, and we are so glad we did!

After purchasing a cabin in Lake Arrowhead we had a few different projects we needed help getting…read moredone. After meeting Chris and talking through what we wanted to do he had some creative ideas to help accomplish our goals within our budget and timeline. We decided to give it a go and are very happy we did. His pricing was upfront and he was transparent through the process. They say there are 3 variables to consider when getting work done, and you can choose two of them. Good, Fast, or Cheap. Mountain View Builders were good and fast, and you get what you pay for. But thanks to Chris' experience, the solutions he came up with didn't break the bank and got us the end result we wanted. With that said we will be looking to Chris for future projects in the mountains.

We felt every sub contractor Don utilized on our project from that painter through completion was clean, timely and fantastic. We did a small addition (closet, bathroom, laundry room) which required removing a dead tree, retaining walls, doors & windows, roofing, siding, insulation, plumbing electrical and tile work. We never had an issue passing inspection. Since Don lives on the mountain, he was helpful to us as newbies. He recommended product choices based on durability, etc. He offered remedies to the aging home's prior projects that weren't done safely or correctly. When we discovered that a gopher had loaded the existing bathroom wall with tons of dirt, he had a solution and expert to remedy the situation. As other issues arose in our aging home, he offered options without sales pressure as to what would serve us best in the long run, always making the final decision our choice. Safety and durability seem to be top priorities. We appreciated how he guided us through the process. The quality of his workmanship, the timely meetings and billing schedules all made for a relatively seam free small project, even when mountain living & mother nature created challenges.
