PLEASE DO NOT CALL THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY, I called today to ask for someone to come out to my house for a estimate to remove a small tree, so a younger guy came named MIKE an right away he said $600 an I said wow that's the most higher estimate I had so far , then he asked what were some of my estimates an I was honest an told him , then right away he lowered his price down by $100 less, so now it was all cash for $500, then I asked when can you do the job he said sometime next week for me to call the office an his sister will answer the phone , we shook hands on the deal, an then All OF A SUDDEN HE SAYS TO ME I DONT WANNA DO THIS JOB ITS NOT WORTH IT OR WORTH MY 20 MIN DRIVE , THEN HE ASKED FOR HIS ESTIMATE BACK AN HE WALKED AWAY FROM ME , an this just happened 15mins ago , he came here at 6pm an now it's 6:20 an I'm writing this , STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY PLEASE , OH AN ANOTHER THING I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION, THIS GUY MIKE DID NOT SEEM STABLE AT ALL, VERY CREEPY , even my wife said he was at the front door . Great company! The guys worked quickly, neatly, and were very thorough. Our yard was completely covered from two huge branches from a very old tall tree in our neighbors yard that fell during the storm. I think it took maybe an hour to put the yard back to the way it looked before the storm with not even a single leaf in sight. Horrible experience with this company. They came out and gave my family a written estimate for a tree removal service. The day of services they had their equipment ready and right before beginning tree removal they informed me that the person from THEIR company who gave the quote was not qualified and they were doubling the price. I cannot comment on the quality of work because it was my neighbor who contracted JP's Tree Service. They were taking down a large tree on my neighbors property. When I came home, I observed the following: Three workers on MY deck stairs with a rope connected from the tree to MY stair rail. They had taken MY garbage can and loaded it with debris. When they left, they did not empty or return it. In addition, my tenant contacted my and complained that they parked a truck blocking her driveway for the entire day. They also ripped up a small section of my grass and trampled a sign that literally said to "be respectful" on my lawn. When they left for the day, they blew and hosed down my neighbor's sidewalk and left mine a mess. My wife went outside and brought this to their attention, yet they pulled away with no regard. I cannot fully explain how inconsiderate this company was of my property. When I reached out to the company by phone, the representative complained that I had called too late (9:30 pm) and wondered why my tenant didn't tell them to move the truck. There was not one "I am sorry" uttered. The next day, they came back to finish the job on my neighbors property. I, again, came home to a mess and their equipment on my property. Frustrated, I admittedly kicked a piece of their equipment back onto my neighbors property. At that time, one of the workers got in my face and issued a threat. I called the owner and asked if he thought that was acceptable. He replied by saying he thought I was an a$$hole. Finally, I called the police to remedy the situation. Trust me, you do not want this crew at your house. Hire this company at your own risk and pray they don't do a job for your next door neighbor. read more
