The crew did a great job doing the trimming I needed as well as a few extras. The yard was cleaner when they left than it was when they arrived. They arrived on time and finished up on schedule. The price was more than fair for the excellent job done. I would use Royal again for any tree related work. I highly recommend them. read more

After hearing my brother‑in‑law rave about Royal and reading great reviews, I reached out to John for a quote. He offered Tuesday or Thursday to connect, then ghosted me both days. I left a message Thursday night. He finally texted Friday morning with no apology, and once I sent the details he asked for, he vanished again. He should've just told me he wasn't interested instead of wasting my time. Hope you have better luck. read more

I just want to tell you that the team that came to our house today was absolutely incredible! I truly appreciate Wilson's hard work and his communication throughout the morning. I was blown away to see how they cleaned up the area afterwards. I am so happy with how our yard looks! When I saw him in that tree, I was like, thank God there are people in this world that have that type of skill. I was so worried one of those limbs was going to come down and hurt someone or damage something. I'm just so grateful for Royal Tree Service! read more

Very professional and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs tree service.

Thanks to the EXCELLENT reviews I saw on YELP, I contacted Royal Tree Service for an estimate on some tree and shrub trimming on my property. Jon came over on Tuesday, and on Friday morning, the 3 man crew was at my house on time as promised! They have a bucket truck and a chipper which they skillfully utilized, and afterwards they cleaned up everything like they weren't even there! I highly recommend Royal Tree Service for a job well done at a very fair price! read more

The team was punctual, kind, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about tree care. My property looks neater and healthier, and I appreciate their attention to detail. Even cleaning up every last wood chip leaving noting for me to do. Their pricing is fair and competitive. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of tree pruning! Let me start with my request for pricing. I'd say within 15 minutes of me hitting send Jon replied asking when would be a good time to set up a site visit. He showed up on the date as promised and made sure to let me know when he was on his way which fell within the agreed to time frame. Low and behold he remembered my house! When he arrived he reminded me that he had come to grind a stump a few years ago. It doesn't get any better than that! Onto the pricing ...we walked around my property and he explained what could be done since none of the trees that I needed trimmed are actually mine. Jon gave me a good price for all the requested trimming so I hired him on the spot. Before leaving he indicated he'd provide a couple of dates and times to see which worked best for me so that we could schedule the work. As promised his crew showed up on the date and time scheduled. Steve did a walk-through with me to make sure that we were clear on what work needed to get done and he got his crew started right away. Within about an hour to an hour and a half all the work had been done, all the cleanup had been done and I was once again left completely satisfied with the services provided. I'm currently a repeat customer and intend on continuing to be one. read more

I have lived in my house for 69 years and have loved my 100 foot oak tree. However it was struck by lightening and then became bug infested so with the many severe storms we have had we realized that it had to go. My husband had used Royal Tree in the past to cut some branches. They immediately took action on this tree and after we acquired the proper permits, set us up. It was magical watching these men work! Forget Spiderman! They were every bit as amazing--working in the heat and humidity--some at the 100 foot point just scaling the tree effortlessly! I watched for hours from my bedroom window. Giant branches being sawed and gliding carefully through the air before being placed on the ground and grounded into wood chips. While one man secured the branches the next one took charge. It was a show that went on for hours. At all times the men were professional and respectful. When they were done cutting down the entire tree, they went into cleanup mode. One point because of a terrible lightning storm they had to stop and said they would be back the next day. When they returned they took the time to cut me some pieces from the tree as I grown up in this house and I wanted to remember it always. They then proceeded to do an excellent cleanup in every aspect. With all the tree remains 100 foot tree., the yard was completely cleared and the stump completely removed. I highly recommend the Royal Tree. They work hard and will not disappoint read more

They recently assisted a friend (we used my account to vet vendors. Royal was fantastic. Inside was rotted in the tree and the tree needed to be removed immediately. Royal came in promptly, sent an incredibly experienced crew, and did a job that other companies that other companies were unwilling to do. Amazing team and great job. read more

I'm an out-of-state owner of several rental properties. I do not have the time to waste on unreliable and unprofessional contractors! Jonathan, owner of ROYAL TREE SERVICES based out of Elizabeth NJ is neither!!! Polite, knowledgeable and professional; he met with me and gave me an excellent price and was there two days later to complete the job. Everything was hauled away and the stumps were ground down to grade. What also impressed me was that he was able to remove a 65 foot tree planted in 1951 that had grown 12 inches away from the power/data lines coming into the house! ZERO issues. Impressive... He also made two smaller 35 foot trees disappear that had been snapped over in the storm. read more

Jonanthan, Xavier and the crew were excellent to work with! I absolutely recommend this crew for any tree removal/trimmings. I can not believe how dedicated, efficient, cautious, and responsive the team was trimming the trees in our yard. They were careful not to disturb my existing garden. The lead, Xavier, went out of his way to communicate with my neighbors to clean whatever disturbed their properties (minimal disturbance). Each branch was taken down with care. Some contractors under deliver. But not Royal Tree! They were on time, and even finished early. They removed a HUGE oak tree - I'd estimate it was 100-150 feet tall! Everything that John promised was delivered. They left my premises clean as well. If you are looking for an honest contractor who does as he promises and will also give you a fair price, call John. read more

Have zero complaints about this company. I called to have a tree removed and had John, the owner, come by explain exactly how the job would be done and gave me a reasonable price. We had several other companies come by and his price was right in the middle. That and the fact that John was very knowledgeable and had the proper licenses and insurance, we booked him. Showed up as scheduled and the crew worked quickly and professional, they even dropped off pieces of the tree to my son's nearby school for their garden when i asked them to. Tree grinders came by the next day and you would never know there was ever a tree there. Very happy with this company, in fact I'm using them again soon read more

I had a wonderful experience with Royal Tree Service. Every step of the process was easy and customer service oriented. I tried to get two quotes from other businesses and one never showed up to their appointment and the other quoted me literally 2.5 times the price that RTS did. Step one: they came to my house Step two: they called me to schedule the tree trimming. Step three: they came on time to cut the tree and did a really good job. They cleaned my yard before they left and did the exact job they promised to. Use Them! read more

I hired Royal Tree Service to trim, two cherry trees, a dogwood and a twisted locust. I've had this property for sometime and they did the best work by far of any company I've ever hired. I strongly recommend them. Their price was fair. They came on time and did an extraordinary job! read more

Good value and great work. Was on time and did a very good job. Would recommend to anyone looking for his services.

Jon and team were quick, efficient, and did an amazing job! Within 3 days of messaging, he came to my house (consulted me over the phone since I was unable to be present at the time), quoted me quickly & had a team at my house to prune my large tree branches 3 days later. I did ask them to prune one more tree than I was quoted for, the team increased the price a bit, which I expected, but it was still a reasonable price. They did a great job cleaning off my roof and property after they were done. Additionally, after the job was done, Jon was so patient with me since I had unknowingly reached my Zelle limit for the day. Allowing me to do a partial payment, and complete the rest the next day. Amazing customer service! Can't recommend them enough for quick, reliable work! read more

The crew came ready to get to business and did just that. They were respectful (as I was at work) , quick and thorough. In addition to confirming what I wanted done, they raked the yard and left no sign of the two story tree... only a small stump remains. Did I mention that the price was right? It was my pleasure to leave a tip for the guys. I would hire the team again. Many thanks! read more

I heard back right away when I reached out for a quote to remove a large tree and some branches on a few other trees. I think it was the owner who showed up but I forget his name. Nice guy. The price was very good especially considering I had one quote come in at twice the price. The work was scheduled almost right away, they showed up on time the day of the job, and the work was completed in a day. The guy heading up the operation that day was great. Really helpful, professional, and even removed a few more branches not in the original quote without any issue and not much more money. They had a ton of guys here to get all the work done and they moved quickly. They did a great job cleaning up as well. I definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs a tree removed! read more

Not that they need any more 5 star reviews, but the team at Royal Tree is terrific. Steve and his crew handled removal of four trees efficiently (including an incredibly overgrown one with sprawling branches). The last tropical storm did a number on my back yard. They were the only ones who could even answer the phone in a timely manner and respond promptly. They cut up and removed a fallen tree in what felt like record time. A little bit of a stump is the only clue that a tree fell (except for a broken fence but here we are). Leaves, wood chips, everything gone. When I asked about the quote or reciept, they understood what my insurance needs were. I'm so happy that this tree thing is over.
