Jon came over on Tuesday, and on Friday morning, the 3 man crew was at my house on time as promised! They have a bucket truck and a chipper which they skillfully utilized, and afterwards they cleaned up everything like they weren't even there! I have lived in my house for 69 years and have loved my 100 foot oak tree. However it was struck by lightening and then became bug infested so with the many severe storms we have had we realized that it had to go. My husband had used Royal Tree in the past to cut some branches. They immediately took action on this tree and after we acquired the proper permits, set us up. It was magical watching these men work! Forget Spiderman! They were every bit as amazing--working in the heat and humidity--some at the 100 foot point just scaling the tree effortlessly! I watched for hours from my bedroom window. Giant branches being sawed and gliding carefully through the air before being placed on the ground and grounded into wood chips. While one man secured the branches the next one took charge. It was a show that went on for hours. At all times the men were professional and respectful. When they were done cutting down the entire tree, they went into cleanup mode. One point because of a terrible lightning storm they had to stop and said they would be back the next day. When they returned they took the time to cut me some pieces from the tree as I grown up in this house and I wanted to remember it always. They then proceeded to do an excellent cleanup in every aspect. With all the tree remains 100 foot tree., the yard was completely cleared and the stump completely removed. Let me start with my request for pricing. I'd say within 15 minutes of me hitting send Jon replied asking when would be a good time to set up a site visit. He showed up on the date as promised and made sure to let me know when he was on his way which fell within the agreed to time frame. Low and behold he remembered my house! When he arrived he reminded me that he had come to grind a stump a few years ago. It doesn't get any better than that! Onto the pricing ...we walked around my property and he explained what could be done since none of the trees that I needed trimmed are actually mine. Jon gave me a good price for all the requested trimming so I hired him on the spot. Before leaving he indicated he'd provide a couple of dates and times to see which worked best for me so that we could schedule the work. As promised his crew showed up on the date and time scheduled. Steve did a walk-through with me to make sure that we were clear on what work needed to get done and he got his crew started right away. Within about an hour to an hour and a half all the work had been done, all the cleanup had been done and I was once again left completely satisfied with the services provided. Polite, knowledgeable and professional; he met with me and gave me an excellent price and was there two days later to complete the job. Everything was hauled away and the stumps were ground down to grade. What also impressed me was that he was able to remove a 65 foot tree planted in 1951 that had grown 12 inches away from the power/data lines coming into the house! ZERO issues. Impressive... Have zero complaints about this company. I called to have a tree removed and had John, the owner, come by explain exactly how the job would be done and gave me a reasonable price. We had several other companies come by and his price was right in the middle. That and the fact that John was very knowledgeable and had the proper licenses and insurance, we booked him. The last tropical storm did a number on my back yard. They were the only ones who could even answer the phone in a timely manner and respond promptly. They cut up and removed a fallen tree in what felt like record time. A little bit of a stump is the only clue that a tree fell (except for a broken fence but here we are).
