The storm on Aug 4, 2020 was a disaster for my husband and I as you can see a solid huge hickory tree about 180 ft tall. came through our home. These two crews Z tree Experts & Ace Arbor Tree Service who work together often, were absolutely awesome. They worked continuously all day into the evening to be sure everything was cleared, cleaned up and properly secured upon completion. John (Z Tree) and Joe (Ace Arbor) made this process easy for us considering what we face in the near future with our home. I called Z Tree Experts at @ 2PM this afternoon for an estimate. John told me he would try to come this afternoon to give me an estimate. Unfortunately for John, a contractor who had already given me an estimate that i'd accepted showed up unexpectedly ( it's a long story, but I was fully not expecting this other contractor to show up as he'd broken 3 appointments already and I told him if he couldn't get here today, not to show up at all. He said he'd call me, which he didn't so I was not expecting him to come, and I sent out for other estimates). At any rate the stump was ground out before John got here. I failed to call John to tell that the job was done. Even so, he was very polite and professional about it, and he did what he said he would do by showing up when he said he would (a fully unexpected happening , given my experience of having to get estimates over the past 3 weeks)Given John's equable and professional demeanor, I wouldn't hesitate to call him for future work. read more

John himself is like some sort of timberland Superhero. The guy answers the phone, comes early, stays late, supervises all aspects of the job personally, and is a genius at problem solving. He and his crew make your problem their problem, and they don't rest until the problem is solved. Trust me, Z Tree Experts is in a league of its own. We just dealt with what could have been a nightmare situation with a tree falling in our backyard (100 year old tree, no access for the crane, torrential rain, etc.), but John and his guys vowed to get in there and make things right, and somehow they did. I called Z Tree Experts in the middle of the March 8, 2018 blizzard and left a message. I had never used them before. I received a call back in minutes and explained that a large tree limb had fallen on and was straddling a power line. Despite the treacherous conditions,within two hours, the tree limb was cut down. John, the owner, could not have been more accommodating, responsive and willing to help despite his busy schedule. I used Z Tree Experts to grind 2 tree stumps in April 2019 in Caldwell NJ. They came to the agreed upon date to look at the job. Gave me an estimate on the spot. Then we coordinated a day to the job and they showed up as promised. Then they put up protection to protect my property and my neighbors. Then they ground the stumps and cleaned up; remove ground up stump, saw dust, and dirt. Friendly and PROFESSIONAL. I got 2 other estimates; but wasn't comfortable with level of professionalism. We certainly chose the right tree service. John Zelenka and his crew were very professional and the job they performed was most difficult due to the trees location. They gave us a fair price and did exactly what they said they would do. Absolutely loved the quick response and efficiency of John and his team. They were very professional and removed a massive tree that fell onto my property. We called Z Tree late on a Sunday when a tree limb came down and another one was dangling above the road. John the owner took the call and agreed to come right out to help us in a pinch. Before long he was there in his bucket truck, cut down the limb, cleared the debris from the road, and agreed to be back first thing in the morning to chip it. Z Tree Experts did a wonderful job removing a tree from my built in pool. They carefully lifted this huge tree truck out of the pool in one piece so that it would not do further damage.
