Judith was super responsive when we asked if they can deliver a cord of firewood wood for us. We asked if they could deliver quickly & she was able to accommodate us right away & at a good price. The wood has now arrived & it's great quality, clean & seasoned. The delivery man was careful in depositing the wood on our tarp as we asked. We've now recommended them to our neighbors (it was a neighbor's who recommended them to us ) & we'll call them when we need tree work done. Very pleased. read more

They did so much damage. They broke slates along a pathway and dislodged them from the mortar as they dragged the logs across my yard. Heavy boulders that lined a garden were moved, one additional tree was cut down, I presume because it was crushed when the larger tree fell and another tree has a big branch with significant damage when the tree fell. I know they need to bring equipment so I wasn't expecting it to be neat, but this was terrible. I would NOT recommend them to anyone read more

Disorganized, no integrity. over charged and never return my 300 deposit! I hired nature tree to remove a few big trees in my backyard this January. The service itself was decent(3.8 out of 5), though they left my lawn damaged. I am extremely disappointed with their integrity. I accidentally overpaid them 300(I forgot that I paid a 300 deposit upfront, and end up paying in full after the job is finished). I found this out two weeks after the job and immediately reached out to the business in Feb. it took them over two months to verify that I over paid, then another 2 month of no action, even though I have been chasing them on the refund. Until this day, I have not got my 300 back. I don't know if I ever will, but want to share my experience here. Wish I could give a review about their quality of work, but unfortunately they no showed an appointment to give me an estimate. They were supposed to come to my house, check out what I needed done, and provide me with an estimate. They advised me the estimator was on vacation but would be out to me the following Thursday, and I should await a phone call. I waited, nobody ever called, or ever showed up. If they dont even have the professionalism to call and reschedule, I would never trust them to do a large job like this. read more

I wish I could give 10 stars to Nature Tree Service. From the first phone call until the end of the project Judith and her team are nothing short of amazing. This is a first class professional tree removal company with excellent prices. We had a large number (approx. 15) of trees removed that were causing damage to our property. In addition to the trees all stumps were ground and roots removed. Most of the trees were huge. We scheduled the work with Judith and her crew and equipment promptly arrived at the set time. The crew worked through the day and completed this massive project in 1 day!! They were like an assembly line and each knew exactly what they should be doing. They took great care to not damage my house or any neighboring homes. They also made sure that everything was cleaned before they left and even made sure it was to our satisfsction. Never saw such unprofessional tree service, shows up starts putting up cones and tells neighbbors to move their cars so they can get truck up the driveway!!! They did not ask permission to use neighboring driveway, but just tell owners to get cars out of the way!! Nature tree was told they cannot use driveway, they got very rude and demanded to use driveway, when asked for proof of insurance, they suddendly pack up and leave. To not ask to use driveway? but simply demand to use it and get their cars out of the way and off their own property, then run when proof on insurance is demanded....recommended calling police, BBB. read more

Beware, they are very unprofessional. The crew damaged the plants at the neighbor's property while cutting down the tree and did not even apologize. They trespassed and did not ask permission from the next-door neighbor while doing the work. The office manager is not any better. Horrible business. Cut down 1 small tree for my neighbor and damaged my fence, a window and believe it or not drove their stump grinder over a bush in my garden. Their workers walked through my backyard gate without my permission. Both my wife and I were home with cars in our driveway. A simple knock on the door to ask for permission would have been responsible, considering I have small kids and dogs. I called the company and spoke to some lady that was full of attitude. After stating that her company didn't cause those damages and those items where damaged when they arrived (funny part is she texted me photos from the day before the job was done which showed no damages) , I asked to speak to the owner. She said she was the owner. Finally I get someone else from their office on the phone who confirmed the first person I spoke with is in fact not the owner and is a sales rep they have had issues with for months. Was told 2 weeks ago that the damages would be taken care of. Haven't heard back in the weeks after multiple follow ups. I have filed a trespassing complaint with the town. read more

Large Crane and heavy equipment was used on the property with no damage to our lawn. Very efficient and friendly team. A tree taller than my three story home dried up over the winter and had become a hazard. Nature Tree Service was available on short notice and chain sawed it to the ground within half an hour! Very unprofessional staff. If I can give them 0 star, I would, they don't deserve anything higher. Once they take your money they are liars. They don't show up or return your calls or when you do get them Judith hangs up the phone. I don't know how this company still exists. I cancelled the job because they never showed up for an appointment or called me. I had to call them and ask where they are. After having a difficult time with them I requested my deposit back and I was told no problem they will mail me a check. It's been three months with numerous telephone calls and each time they tell me it's in the mail or the mail is late. Finally they said they will reissue me another check. That never happened. I finally spoke with Judith who was very rude and hung up the phone telling me they will not give me my deposit back. Not a trustworthy crew, very unprofessional and indeed rude. They must have friends write their reviews, how people like this stay in business is beyond me. I was a fool for giving them another chance. Vidal cut my first tree back in 2007 with just a chain saw and rope. It was amazing to watch him cut that huge maple down piece by piece. Now he has a big crew and machinery. They are inexpensive for a reason! You will pay more to undo the damage they create. I and a neighbor hired them for some tree removal and yard work. They removed trees I wanted to keep! I was trying to communicate to them to stop while they were removing them, but the crews they send are unable to communicate in English. By the time their dispatcher got through to them, the trees were gone! The manager was very rude and condescending. He did a very poor job managing the worksite and his crew. He did not follow the agreed upon scope of work. I am giving them two stars because the dispatcher was nice and accommodating. You are better off avoiding this company! read more

Called to ask if they dealt with a particular problem concerning my tree and after affirming they did, was asked to text my address to the cell phone so he (whomever it was that answered - I never did get a name) could stop by in the morning. Next morning came and went. No call and no acknowledgement that he received my text the afternoon before. Just a bunch of "huh"? and "what"? when I called to inquire about our appointment. I'd have given this company a shot if he (again, no name - who answers a business phone with "hello?") simply acknowledged the mistake and tried to make it up to me but there was none of that so there will be none of this $$ for them.
