(Total: ~$4,200) The smaller ones consisted of wool and jute and were equally expensive and we know that jute is a tricky material to work with. (Total: ~$800) We were also able to get our queen sized bed frame cleaned when they arrived and just had to pay the additional charge. Some places would charge you extra to get last minute additions when they arrive but NY Steamers did not! Meyer was quick to respond to all my questions and so flexible with arranging a time. He was so accommodating and all of his team members were so respectful, informative and friendly! The prices are super reasonable and so I decided to book him again to clean our couch. Second Service: I contacted Meyer to get a quote for our 2 seater and chaise and he responded right away with the price. It was a reasonable deep cleaning price and because I was so in love with the service the first time, we went ahead and scheduled a time for the cleaning. We had scheduled a late afternoon cleaning however the day of Meyer contacted and asked if we can have it earlier. It ended up working better in terms of my schedule! They did a test for water and sure enough there was water. They cuts 2 holes in the soffit and checked for mold and lucky for me there were none. However, Service Master didn't want to chance it so thy treated it with a mold resistant just to make sure. That's what I call going above and beyond. They came everyday to take readings and on the 3rd day it was dry. Then they spackle and sanded two days in a row. They cleaned my bathroom each time they were here you could not even tell any sanding was done that's how clean they left it. Today they pained and what a fantastic job they did. I missed my daughter's birthday while waiting for them to come on an "emergency clean-up." Needless to say, they never came that night. They came 24 hours later. Once they finally arrived, I was not provided with a written estimate, only a verbal one. After which, I was charged double the amount they stated. The service itself was terrible and after everything, they left a mess, which they refused to clean up, even after I called to complain. I am in the process of hiring someone else to clean up their mess. According to my contractor, they did not even complete the job they came to do. They should have cut the walls higher up and after they left, the walls were still soaking wet! When I called them back, they came and told me there was nothing else they could do. Long story short, I was overcharged for a horrible and incomplete job done. I am even surprised that my insurance company recommended such a horrible company.
