I might be a bit biased because I worked there for 4 years while I was in college, BUT this restaurant really is great. They don't cut corners on quality and quantity. Poor service had 2pm reservation sat at 2:50 waited 10 minutes for the drink order 10 minutes to get drinks same for dinner order than food came out wrong a new waiter shows up and said other waitress left he doesn't kno why Anyway we left at 5:15 over three hours from arrival time. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I took my mother for dinner. The food was great but the service was spectacular. We sat at a table in the bar area and I was able to watch the football game while having dinner. Our waitress Lori was amazing. She guided us through the menu and recommended some of the favorites. The Spinach Dip was her choice and while I am not usually a fan it was the best. Then my mother requested a complicated version of a manhattan in which Lori was able to navigate through that issue and it came out perfect. The main courses were great but it really was the attentiveness and congeniality of Lori that contributed to our wonderful experience. She seemed to gauge what we would like and make recommendations on sides/sauces/etc and was really spot on. Would go back anytime. read more

Dinner here last nite was fantastic, again It is such a pleasure to come to JMarks, because the service and food is spot on EVERY TIME! This is a bold statement to make I know, but it's true. We have had to over the years complement the Restaurant Manager, and when we do, it's evident as to why this location is so we'll run. Rebecca is such a great person, and never takes credit personally, but gives her staff all the credit. She is all over the place every time were in. She was gone for a couple years, but now is back again, and it shows. JMarks has a perfect menu. You can get a small salad, simple burger, a great $12 chicken dish, to an amazing miso glazed salmon, to prime meats. Happy hour is limited to three of there signature cocktails, a Mojito, Cosmo, or Margarita. Of course they have happy hour beers They are all great. read more

Went to J Marks on Sunday the 11th of Feb. for my girl friends 60th birthday. We were greeted by the hostess and seated very fast. Our server was Trevor and was super helpful. Went over the specials and told us it was brunch time. I got the hickory hamburger with mashed potatoes. The burger was up on my 5 burgers I have eaten. The beef was fresh, bun out of this world and mashed potatoes were hot and very good. My girlfriend got the Eggs Benedict which was a large serving but the eggs were cold. Told Trevor about it and in a flash picked it up and off to the kitchen. One of the managers Dani came by and told her Trevor was on it. She went into the kitchen to follow up and a new plate was brought out hot and looking great. Both Trevor and Dani made us feel like family and will be back. We had tripped upon J Mark's last year on our vacation and it was the best meal we had the entire week. This year our server was Timothy and we let him guide us through the menu, since there is so much to pick from.
