Always a great meal at a very affordable non-tourist prices. Located across the street from the Magic Mile on Teaster Lane. Locally owned, friendly staff and excellent food every time. I had the "Del's All the Way" pizza which had pepperoni, sausage, beef, onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. Great hand tossed pizza. My wife had her usual which is the baked ziti special. Always great and includes 3 garlic knots and a salad with the meal. This is one of our always 'go to' places when visiting the Pigeon Forge area and it NEVER disappoints! read more

Poor quality pizza along with poor service. Pizza came out 15min before our garlic knots and italian beef sandwich. The sandwhich was the worst one I have ever had... I ordered it wet. And it was nit we they just played it in what looked to be hot water as it was nearly clear and flavorless version of there au jus. The pizza was extremely subpar.. lacked flavor and was poor quality cheese and toppings... garlic knots was only thing sorta decent. But lacked and real garlic flavor.... We had been in the past and dined in; the take-out we received the other night had some hiccups. Our pizzas were good except the ham/pineapple pizza was terrible-- huge chunks of both made it impossible to eat without everything sliding off. The italian beef with sausage was very greasy and served with chopped veggies too, not the typical hot giard only. Meatballs were top notch. We're in town for a couple of days after Christmas and the traffic is insane. Apparently, the locals call this week between Christmas and New Year "hell week." Decided to stay put at the hotel and ordered pizza delivery. The owner was super nice, told us it could be a while, maybe an hour, due to the heavy traffic. She called me 30 minutes later to tell me her driver was stuck in traffic and she, the owner, was sitting out front at the hotel with our pizza! The pizza here is really good and the customer service is phenomenal. Definitely recommend this place. My wife and I are visiting the pigeon forge area and decided to try out this spot. The dining area was nice and clean. We were greeted as we walked in and all questions about the menu were answered. We ordered the 14" pizza "all the way", garlic knots and two drinks for $35. The garlic knots were brought to the table within a few minutes. They were fresh and delicious just a bit on the small side. The pizza came to the table hot and fresh. The pizza crust was cooked perfectly, but the toppings were a bit sparse and could have been a bit more melted. All in all a great experience, we would recommend and come back. read more

Visiting dolloywood for the week. Decided on pizza one night as a change from all the fried chicken, bbq and catfish we have been eating. Found this place on yelp. We ordered a simple plain cheese "NY style" pizza, mozzarella sticks, Italian beef and an Italian sausage. While the reviews on the facilities were accurate. The food reviews are obviously written by people whom have never actually tasted NY pizza. It was almost inedible. The cheese is very cheap mozzarella almost plastic tasting, the sauce had an odd spice to it and the dough was just mid. Frankly Elio's frozen pizza is better. The beef sandwich was ok. It didn't have any giardiniera, only 3, 1 inch pieces of green pepper. The sausage sandwich was excellent. That tasted just like the sandwiches from the Italian church festivals of my youth. The pizza was extremely greasy and bland--comparable to cafeteria food. The cheese bread was passable, but tasted like bagged cheese on pre-made bread. Great pizza! We tried J. Del's pizza this evening for dinner and found another gem in Pigeon Forge! After trying this place, it is easy to understand why their slogan is, "You can't spell DELiciouS without Del's" Great hometown locally owned pizza and pasta! Salads were very fresh and cold. Great place to visit with the soccer team. Five stars for the service and great hosting efforts. We called ahead the day before and the staff blocked tables for our soccer team and the parents. Food prices is great for the quantity and quality. The menu very diverse including sandwiches pizza and pasta. I loved the calzone. The doe soft on the inside and golden outside. Full of cheese olives and ground beef. The marinara sauce tangy and thick. The pizza had great ratio of cheese toppings and sauce. Pepperoni was bland, not many mushrooms at all, and sauce was bland also. Of course having a pizza delivered you have the risk of it being not so hot and also somewhat soggy. It was both of those. Went here after a long hike at Great Smoky Mountains. We were limited in restaurants since most places in the area close at 9 pm; J Del closed later at 10 pm. Glad we ended up coming here.
