I've been to this location before and I really enjoy the food. I normally go in the morning and the place is pretty clean and the employees are friendly. But I decided to go around 7:30 yesterday and it was like it was a totally different establishment. A lot of tables and the floor was dirty. There was a Hispanic worker that was throwing around the N-Word and as a black woman I find that extremely unprofessional and offensive. I will not be returning to this location. read more

I just have to say how much I appreciate that J-Dawgs dining area is always immaculate and ACCESSIBLE! Besides having the best bagler fries on the planet, their hotdogs are pretty dang good! We came here today to refill on the special sauce for at home. My son told me he loves coming here because he never has to worry about not being able to get through the dining area with mobility issues. That's some thing that we take for granted at the places that do an excellent job, and I felt like it's worth acknowledging. The folks at the counter always seem to love their job and interact so well with customers of all kinds. Consistently excellent service. Definitely one of our favorite places to go. Big fans over here! The hot dogs are fantastic! I love how simple the menu is, and how easy it is to make a good hot dog. They have the order system set up great! You order your dogs first, and then you come back for your fixings and sauce. I could see how that would make the ordering go faster! I also appreciated that they cut the hot dog for my 3 year old. It was a lot easier for her to eat the sandwich that way. The special sauce is fantastic. The fry sauce was great as well. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the fries. read more

Great dogs. Beef dog has really good flavor and a good size to it. Their special sauce, tastes like teriyaki sauce to me, but who would have thought that teriyaki sauce would be so good on a hot dog. The bun ratio was pretty large but when you load it up with toppings, that's a good thing. Speaking of toppings, I was looking for more. Currently they are running at "food truck" level with a few toppings and condiments. If you're only business is hotdogs, go big or go home. Would love to see things like chili, cheese, grilled onions, peppers, etc, added to the line up. The fries were fantastic, battered and well seasoned. Loved them. French fries sat in a paper bag, from the time we walked in... until handed to us with our order. If you find yourself wanting to try J-Dawns, would suggest you check out a location closer to SLC. And they are content letting you stand there like a moron waiting for somebody to ask you if you need help. And if that is not enough. Simple and delicious. Jdawgs only has three things on their menu (polish dog, beef dog, and fries) but they nail each of those three. You can personalize each with a variety of toppings, and their special sauce is a must. Their service is quick and positive. I have not had a bad experience yet, nor a bad meal. I've loved J-Dawgs since their first food truck in Provo and I was so excited to see them open up in Ogden! But they are definitely a bit unorganized right now. I placed a big order (32 dogs) with all the toppings for a party I was throwing. I prearranged it days ahead of time with a specific pick up time and everything. I get there to pick it up, they have no idea about the order. Turns out, they wrote the date down wrong (or that's what they told me). So I had to wait like 40 mins for them to make the order up. But I will say it was fresh, hot and delicious. All my guests loved it and that's what mattered in the end. So I think once the newness of the restaurant wears off and they get more organized, it'll be a better place but food wise, I'll be coming back. read more
