Nothing is worse than trying to dig through clothes in a messy, unorganized store. It's set up pretty similarly to other locations. They usually have a good playlist going and the staff is always nice. I almost always find something at this store. I've purchased clothing and accessories. Their shoe section is pretty large and they apparently have a good selection of Hoka shoes. I haven't shopped for home goods, but they seem to have a good variety. I really love this location. It beats going out to Sugar Land or Clear Lake.

As luck would have it, they had an in-store deal going on which was 50% off of anything. I had picked up a green top and combined with my coupon which was, I can't remember now, but probably $15 off or something, ultimately got the top for $5!!!! An Ann Taylor for $5, now that is what I call a surprise gift! Tiffany and Cassey were on the floor that evening, it was closing time, and I was in and out in 10 min with a top in hand. They were super friendly and also equally shocked at my steal deal! What I learnt that day is that, stores, to encourage foot fall, have special offers valid only in store, and they also don't repeat in all stores, each area has its own special offers which you won't know until u actually visit. I recently purchased two sets of Nautica socks at the Ross on Kirby in Houston…read more When I got home and tried them on, I found that they were slippery and made my shoes squeak (probably why they were at Ross). Living 50 miles, I called ahead and was told by the person on the phone that there wouldn't be a problem returning socks without a receipt. I made the trip in rush hour traffic (seriously), only to be told by the manager, who confirmed that she was actually the same person I talked to on the phone, that no return could be made without the original packaging. I replied that the socks didn't come in a package, only a wraparound sticker and a plastic fastener. She replied that she knew this, but considered those things to be the package. Really?!? To any sane person, those things are just trash! I suggested that she just scan an identical item from the shelf, but she refused, saying something like there was a chance of scanning the wrong one. I knew that there were only two versions of this product, though, because I had bought one of each version! It's standard practice for retail stores to grab a matching product from the shelf in order to scan the UPC. Her refusal to do so seemed to be a deliberate attempt to save face and deny my reasonable request. This misleading info and poor service wasted my time and fuel. I reached out to the corporate office, to give them a chance to make this right, but all they did was quote the return policy, which I did not run afoul of. To be more specific, the return policy does not require that the item be in its original packaging. I will be happy to remove my poor review of Ross Stores when they issue me a refund. Until then, y'all are better off going to the competition. There's plenty out there.
