I ordered the 6 piece wings and Philly Combo that also comes with French fries and a soda. The food was cooked to order and I really appreciated that because I always want my food fresh and hot. Overall, I was satisfied with my selection and I would recommend this restaurant again. The ambiance was very busy with customers coming in and out placing and picking up orders. The only issue was the parking. Very limited since the restaurant is adjacent to Chevron Gas Station. It was the combo special for me. I'll go back again soon.

Heard about them from coworkers and decided to go check them out for myself. Despite being named "Wings n Grill" they have soooooo much more to offer. My usual order is the 6pc and fish combo. Comes with 6 wings, fries, 2pc catfish (NICE SIZED!!) and a drink. The catfish is truly CHEF'S KISS!! Cooked to perfection The wings are also a missile! My favorite flavor combo is the Hot Honey Lemon Pepper. I've also tried Ranch (fried regular, then tossed in dry rub) and Honey Garlic+Teriyaki, all delicious but the HHLP are number one for me. The options are endless. Even the fries are always fried just right, golden brown and crispy. The only negative about the place is their mix of lemonade, fruit and peach punches. To me, they're weak and all taste like sugar water. Always find myself having to ad something to it, or opting to just get a fountain drink. S/O to the the guy taking the orders (the white guy that's always there). He's great and keeps things running smooth in there. If you're ever nearby in the area and you hungry, stop in there and treat yourself to something BIGBACK and deliciouss!

SERVICE Service was fast and friendly for a Friday evening…read morerush...seating is up to your choosing -- indoor or outdoor. The staff was efficient despite having been swept up understaffed with a late night 20+ party. They got the order in quickly, and food came out faster than expected. No issues with accuracy! Our waters were refilled quickly despite the rush and everything arrived together and hot. Great for a quick, casual stop when you don't want to wait long. FOOD We stopped in for a quick Friday dinner and ordered the burger, brisket dip with waffle fries, and a tendies basket. The burger was juicy and cooked to order (medium rare as asked!) with a nice toasted bun. The brisket dip was tender and flavorful, and the sweet waffle fries came out hot and crispy too. The tendies basket was solid: well-seasoned, not greasy, and a good portion for sharing. Overall, the hits were the brisket dip and waffle fries; the burger and tendies were reliable. Craving a greasy comfort food spot for the day, and this was pretty darn solid for the price and friendly fast service! AMBIANCE The vibe is relaxed and neighborhood-friendly with an outdoor area with standing room and the TV. The music can be a bit loud for overall taste, but hey it's a lively spot for a Friday night....a buzz is definitely obvious and great for drinks or low-key hangout...and the space feels busy without being chaotic. If you're looking for a quick, comfortable place to grab a bite (have a solid no frills burger) and unwind, it fits the bill!

I did the hot chick ... yeah, I can get away with saying that ... and it was huge, overflowing, tender and fresh. This is a SOLID spot. I was told they'd be re-opening nearby and I hope that's the case. They were BUSY as well so it's clearly not a customer issue. Check them out when they re-open. Simple and amazing!

Ok listen, this spot is in the cut wedged between Bank of America and the back of Cornerstone Bank. It has about 7 booths and 4 tables (mostly 2 tops). My favorite is the ATL chick which is juicy fried chicken breast tossed in buffalo sauce and... ANNNND... lemon pepper. Cmon. We're in ATL. What other way is there?! Then it has ranch drizzled on top and dressed how you want... lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle. Even the bread is yummy. The sweet potato fries are crispy and airy and go great with the comeback sauce which is whatever smoky heavenly concoction they came up with as a sauce. Listen if you're in downtown Decatur... Now for the rest of the review: The menu is fine, but dinner menu is served on a loose paper, as are the drink menu but it's on a clipboard with multiple pages. I opted for a hamburger with waffle fries. I ordered Med-well, but received Med-rare. The bottom bun was disintegrating as it was saturated in grease. The waffle fries are solid and two people ordered the Irish Nachos to-go while I was there so they may be the star. My fries were served with a mayo-hot sauce mixture that was just okay. I really wished my experience was better because there is so much here I normally would like: local, neighborhood dive, music, tv. But this was a one-and-done for me. For decades, it's been the heartbeat of Virginia-Highland -- a Midtown and local favorite since 1961. Lately though, the spark feels dim. The food's just okay, the patio's lost its buzz, and the timeless charm feels more tired than classic. These neighborhoods thrive on local spots with character, consistency, and community -- and George's has the history to be exactly that again. Here's hoping they rally the team, sharpen the menu, and bring back the flavor and energy that made us all regulars in the first place.
