Beef Shish Kabob Entree

Absolutely horrible. No flavor. Hard pita. Rough meat. Flavorless rice. Never ever going here again.

Delicious and plentiful portions. Grilled meats were exceptional. Vegetables were fresh and delightfully prepared. Baba Ganoush had a delightfully creamy texture and smokey flavor. Very friendly and kind staff. Food was prepared fresh as we waited and dined in. Took home leftovers. Would definitely repeat.

A hidden gem! We stopped in at 8:45pm just before closing, and the staff were super nice, they welcomed us to dine in even though they close at 9, they stayed till 9:30 when we finished, and gave us great service through and through. Huge entree, enough to share for two people. Fries were fresh. No stale fries. We also ordered 4 beef samosas which tasted authentic and delicious, not overly stuffed with only onions and no meat inside like most places, these samosas went great with a cup of chai (upon request). Can't get over the great service, I hope this place gets good business. I noticed their catering menu as well and it's definitely more affordable than the bigger and more popular middle eastern/ Mediterranean restaurants. I will be coming back.

The Food, Found Fairly Good..But Service, Borders On Rude:…read more It was Just a few days ago, that My Beau & I, stopped in here for lunch. I had my misgivings about dining here again, but we went ahead, to see if things had changed, since we last came. We'd had dinner, at this location, a few times before. And, we had always appreciated the clean & elegant setting, & found the food, to be very good. Not so much, the service, & not so friendly mood.. This time around, we stopped in, whilst they were having their buffet...Beau, is not a fan of buffets, at all, but acquiesced to trying their midday spread. Decades ago, we recall, this restaurant, was home to a very gifted chef, who has since left. And we recall, that chef, of long ago, was indulgent with flavoring his fare, with rich & spicy flavor! So much so, weekends were bustling, because of his sumptuous buffets!! Well, that was a different era, & times have changed.. As this present buffet: Is fairly okay. But, for the price point, one cannot truly complain..To illustrate: tandoori chicken, was brought sizzling to our table, but was found, slightly burnt on the outside. However, the naan bread, brought in a basket, was found soft & buttery!! Just as it should be! Whilst the modest lunch array,, consisting of: two varieties of potato appetizers; butter chicken; rice pulao; & an assortment of vegetarian curry dishes, were found to be, fairly good. But, we found the goat curry, to be the best dish on the buffet, flavorful, & rich with soft meat. Afterwards, we sampled the badam halwa & ras gollah sweets. The former: an almond pudding; & the latter: cute balls of cheese dumplings.. The drinks we ordered, were separate from the buffet..Of Beau's mango lassi, I did not inquire, but he made no complaints that it was sour. However, our after dinner brew, of masala tea, Was Pure Sublimity!! Truly, Tea Time, Is Always, The Best Part Of Our Visit!! Too bad, as I wish I could say good things of the service!! As alas, I truly feel, We Are Always, Treated With Indifference!! The boy server, "Did" his job, with as much warmth as an automaton!! This time round too, the owner, seems to reflect:: Such Nonchalance towards us !! Why Is That, & What The H**?, when Beau, Always Tips So Well?! And so, it is dubious as to whether or not we shall return! Perhaps We'll Dine Elsewhere--Where The Staff & Owner, Actually Give A Care!! Indeed, This Establishment, Should Work On Combining: Good Food, & A Friendlier Attitude. If We Ever Dine Here Again, I Hope Things Will Have Improved..

We had the tea leaf salad, which had just the right blend of crunch and spice. The samusas were hot and flesh and the flavor of both the mohinga and coconut chicken noodle dish I had were phenomenal. And of course the service was impeccable. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to be back and try the tofu salad and Shan noodles next time.

I'd rate it on par, or even better, than San Francisco's Burmese options. Service was much friendlier here, that's for sure! Tawk was a delightful host...making jokes along with dish recommendations. Sadly, we gobbled up the food before I remembered to take photos. D'oh! I highly recommend the Tea Leaf salad--a Burmese staple and a real treat if you haven't had it before. Very flavorful and just a hint of spice (don't eat the sliced peppers if you're spice-adverse, but we devoured them). We also had Shan Noodles (B8). I also recommend that. A mild to medium spice level and very tasty. Generous portions. Two dishes was enough for two though I wish we had tried the spring rolls or samosas too--we might have had leftovers if we had! The restaurant itself is inviting and clean. They did a good job considering the location in a strip mall. The lighting looks nice, and the textured walls add to the inviting ambience.

We ordered a variety of items, including bun kebabs, chaat, and halwa puri, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The bun kebabs were especially satisfying, and the chaat had the perfect balance of tangy and spicy. The halwa puri was also a highlight and felt like a proper festive treat after Eid نماز. The customer service was good as well--staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Overall, Addah is definitely worth checking out if you're craving authentic street food in a lively setting.

Overall the food was good but not enjoyable as there were way too many people in the tight space. There was a hiccup with our order but the counter guy did good to try and solve the problem. The chicken boti roll: generously packed with nicely seasoned breast meat on a paratha. 4 The puri halwa: was better than most places. Puri's weren't oily, chenna's & aloo had a good flavor but they missed the mark entirely as the halwa was really dry and was not a bit sweet. 3.5 Tea was served lukewarm not hot. 2 Lassi was premade in the self serve area and was very good. 4 They have outdoor seating which would be good in warmer weather.
