Extremely spicy food , all dishes are spiced , almost inedible - I tried Chicken Tikka and Fry Seekh Kebab. Both had raw red spices , not recommended. I don't know what the owner Eric is thinking - please fix this if you want people to eat at your restaurant. It was self service , which is odd - they have plenty of staff , and it's not fast food. Went there for the very first time. This place is located in a busy strip mall with plenty of parking. They have HALAL Pakistani and Indian food. Well organized and clean establishment. Now about the negatives. We were in bit of a hurry so we called ahead to place an order for a sit down lunch. To our surprise the employee refused to take our call ahead order but was ok with us placing a takeout order. Even when we offer to pay ahead they won't take our order and instead told us it had to be a takeout order, but we can sit down and eat there. (See the pictures, attached). When we got there the female employee at the counter had an attitude. At this point we were totally dissatisfied with the service. Very bad first impression. They packed the food for us to go, even when they knew we were going to sit there. Upon opening the packed food we had mixed feelings. We ordered chicken khrahi and behari kabas with naans. Chicken khrahi tasted decent but the size of chicken pieces felt like it was made from chicken wings, very small pieces but the flavor was decent. Behari kabab was a total disappointment. There was no flavor to it, almost felt like we were eating boiled beef kabab. Overall we did not like this place due to horrible service and below quality food. You can get far better value at other places in the area for the price you will pay. I will NOT recommend them. read more

So the ambiance is not top notch but the food is to die for. For people who try to think that indian and Pakistani food is the same, let Me tell tou they are not. May be the names are the same ... yes but the taste is very different and if you actually want to experience that difference then try Bundoo khan. That's All I can say. We were greeted nicely and quickly at the counter. We ordered the karahi, naan and Bihari roll. The karahi is served alone. You'll need to order naans additionally! They brought the food to our table. The hot chicken karahi was generously portioned and spice level was adequate. It's served in a takeout container though. It's nothing to rave about but it tasted good. I wouldn't order this again. Keep in mind this is "express" as the title states and is not a full fledged restaurant. Naans are a good size - fluffy Paratha is liken to a poori paratha and not paratha in a traditional sense. Rolls (sandwiches) have the option to have it on a paratha or a naan. I chose paratha. It came with 2 sauces; creamy and the other sour-ish and tangy made with tamarind. The tamarind sauce was a very good accompaniment to the Bihari roll. The Bihari meat was tender and flavorful. The sandwich was delicious and I would definitely order this again. In future, I would stick with ordering kababs, rolls and their fast food items. read more

The flavors are deliciously Punjabi and if you are tired of finding South Indian flavors in North Indian dishes then you probably wanna check out this place. The food at this place is delightful. I have tried chicken kabab, seekh kabab, malai boti and all are amazingly delicious. Service is bit slow and if you are carrying out it's usually 30 minutes wait. Ambience is traditional and welcoming to families. This place seems popular among families and is often crowded in the evening. read more

Definitely don't go or order takeout, if you want proper customer service and hot food at a reasonable time. We have gone to bandoo khan so many times over the past few years and have recommended multiple people to go there. Not anymore. This had to have been the absolute worst customer service that I experienced. We ordered three malai botis and 5 naan at 12:15 pm for takeout and were told it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. We waited for our order for an additional 30 minutes (total 1 hr), despite a seemingly empty restaurant because they did not tell us the naan would take more time. They offered us 4 puris instead of naan - also ridiculous since we have 5 people and 5 naans should be replaced with 5 puris. Food was also very cold. Anyways, would never recommend this place to anyone anymore. Try anything else, maybe khizers kitchen, the service is probably better. read more

If management is listening please invest in a website-based ordering system. I just showed up to pick up my to-go order and they had simply forgotten it. I spoke very clearly and slowly with the guy on the phone. He confirmed my order back to me and 45 mins later when I'm there to pick up "sorry sir we have misplaced your order". This is sloppy guys. 2 stars for the food (i guess) Let me break it down- It's express- get ur own plates and stuff- nbd, i can do that BUT the kicker is- We sat down (party of 5), ordered food- had one dish we (including kids) were ACTIVELY eating, and the guy who works there comes and asks us to MOVE to another table, because another party had JUST entered and wanted to sit in our spot. ... like wtf? Who does that ? Ive experienced asking for chairs, heck even a table- but asking PHYSICALLY TO MOVE FOR OTHER PATRONS? wow. Just wow. Also, of note- tables in front and back EMPTY. Why couldn't they sit there? We said no, while pointing out they were welcome to the extra chairs/ table, but we were not gonna move. The employee was so mad!! Made a face, all but rolled his eyes, and then started throwing the chairs around with flare! Who does that?! So overall- will we be going back? NO. Do i recommend anyone else go? Probably not. Unless you want to get disrespected for not jumping from one table to the next in the middle of your meal. Also- this is a franchise- (i asked around). To the best of my knowledge no relationship to the bundoo khan on devon street which is under other ownership- now that place i do recommend. Also let me make a list of everything we ordered- 1. I consider myself a diehard Bundoo Khan fan. I have been going to their Chicago location for years! Yes I have gone from Naperville to the city (1+ hour drive) just to eat at Bundoo Khan. I am soooo glad they now have this location in Naperville! I of course came here on opening day (Jan 13, 2020) and their food didn't disappoint at all. It tasted just like the other Chicago location, fresh and tasteful! As with any new location and setup, they are working through a few issues (mostly technical) but I am confident they will have it worked it quickly. I'm looking forward to many more visits to come and I would highly recommend this to my family and friends. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!! read more

I can now finally say the suburbs have a legitimate Pakistani style chicken tikka. Ordered tikka, Bihari kabab, malai Boti, paratha and naan. The Bihari and malai were above average. While parathas were surprisingly very good. I would rate it best in Chicagoland along with the tikka. The drawback are the wait times, took us 45 minutes to get a complete order. Also, food is served on those carry out boxes aNd you get flimsy paper plates to eat your food. I guess the great tasting/flavorful and traditional Pakistani Chicken tikka and paratha combo makes it worth it! We ordered a cheeseburger (comes w/ fries), and chicken seekh kabob with a paratha. Note - one of the few desi joints that carry sparkling water! Thank you Bundoo khan express! Honestly, I don't know why other places can't throw in a few Perrier's into their refrigerator aside from the basic Pepsi/sprite pop products. The facility overall is extremely clean and looks remodeled, located conveniently in a strip mall next to funtopia & nearby the fox valley mall. Food is hot and fresh, meat is seasoned well and not greasy/ super spicy. Make sure to pick up the condiment yogurt sauce bottles in the refrigerator, goes well with everything. The paratha is not your typical paratha, and I think bundoo khan is known for this- it's deep fried and looks like more of a puri, just informing Incase you're disappointed, better stick with the traditional naan bread, although the puri style paratha is tasty as well. read more

Recently opened establishment in Naperville, IL. Serving mainly pakistani food with a few American items on the menu as well. Decor is very modern and tasteful. The dining area is very spacious. We ordered Chicken Tikka Boti salad , Beef Bihari roll, French fries and Beef tikka roll. They make the food fresh once you order and it reflects in the flavor. The fries were crisp , the parathas (part of the roll) were crisp and not excessively greasy or soggy. The meats (chicken and beef) had authentic pakistani flavor and not over cooked. The accompanying sauces (tamarind sauce, green chutney etc) complimented the food perfectly. Will definitely visit again. read more

It's a smaller location and the word express in the name suggests that it isn't a full service restaurant but you can count on the food to be as good as the Devon location. All your favorite grill items are available on the menu but if you want the highway Karahi, you will still have to go to the Devon location.
