Thank heavens for Nextstep which keeps as much as they can out of the garbage stream and which helps so many people. The building used to be an adult store and then was vacant for a while. Now, I despise returning cans to the grocery store. It's just disgusting. I literally throw up walking into those areas. The smell and sticky floor, the machines malfunction after every third can inserted so it's time consuming. I mean, I get more excited about dental procedures than returning cans. Given my intense hate for this chore, I wasn't expecting good things today. However I was beyond surprised. My husband usually makes me go because he needs a second person to turn in receipts when he's exceeded the return limit for the day. So off we go today. We go in and it's busy. I'm thinking we'll be there for two hours. We returned $50 worth of cans in half an hour! No malfunctions, it was clean, quick, and easy. It's a large area, everything is well labeled. There's a hand washing station, restroom, and even someone staffing it. So any issues are taken care of very quickly. I love it! Would I return? Hell yes! It's a million times better than any grocery store bottle return. This place actually makes this chore painless.
