Compucare Technical Services has astounded me with their lack of professionalism. Amidst lies in…read moretheir reply to my Google review (proven via the text and call logs attached) they have accused me of being "angry" because they couldn't get to my PC fast enough. The only reason I was "angry" is because he spoke to me like I was an idiot, claimed he did nothing wrong, claimed 60 degrees celsius was normal, and generally avoided accountability. He has also failed to communicate properly, saying he'd get back to me and never texting back, then becoming passive aggressive when I checked in. Additionally, he searched for my new CPU on Amazon, rather than using Newegg or any other dedicated parts search, and ordered a CPU that would be completely incompatible with my system AND the motherboard he had ordered. If I hadn't caught the incompatibility, I might still be without my PC. Again, I had no issue with the fact that a mistake occurred. In fact I would have been gracious had accountability been taken. It was his communication over the phone on Sunday that led me to take matters into my own hands. No matter who discovered the issue, Compucare Technical Services was blatantly unprofessional and frankly frustrating to deal with on multiple occasions. Additionally, he tried to offer me $100 cash when I said I would be changing my review this morning. And the agreement referenced in his reply states that I must allow them opportunity to rectify the issue before issuing a *credit card chargeback,* which has not happened. CTS has yet again contacted me, despite me specifically asking him not to, and continued to berate me as a result of my review of my bad experience. Then he actually looked up options online for me the fit my needs and even sent me a link to one that he recommended. Andrew Pulaski always identifies the problem and solution because he's on the pulse of computing…read moretechnologies. I've never presented him with a computer issue that he couldn't fix. Besides general computer maintenance, he's an expert at removing virus and malware, social networking, translating techno-babble into English, smartphones and tablets, Apple products, setting up your home theater, advising smart technology purchases, firewalls and encryption, website building, and even contracting for small business IT support. Phew! That's a lot; isn't it? From his website: "I am not just a computer repair man. I believe a large part of my job involves communication and intra-personal skills. My years of work in the corporate world have given me a highly competitive skill set that allows me to approach most any technical problem with the confidence, but it's my superior personal skills that place me above my competition." Andrew Pulaski, the computer repair wizard. Technology can be like a magic--in the sense that we don't always understand how it works. We live in a highly competitive and, most importantly, specialized world. We shouldn't be expected to know all the ins and outs of the systems fostering our business. People like Andrew Pulaski take care of that for you. "While there are occasions where I do repairs at my home office, I prefer to travel to my clients. I find that by meeting with my clients face to face, I am able to develop a better understanding of their needs. Furthermore, it helps to more quickly establish the trust my clients want in a person who is handling data that is often personal and sensitive." Let Mr. Pulaski come to you. He'll fix the problem. 5 out of 5 stars.

That was exactly what I needed, since I had long complained about the slowness of the computer's response. Very reasonable--less than $200. Did it within a day. A comment about parking: if you're using GPS, it will direct you to the address on Main St. No parking there (maybe other side of the road, I don't recall). If you're coming through High St on the divided lanes, go through the light at Main. Turn right onto S Wolf St. There's a little sign maybe 100 ft. in. The entrance is in back--you'll have to ring a bell. But don't let the unimposing nature of the facilities put you off. He'll do excellent work. P.S. Some reviews below complain about Mr. Thompson's gruff nature. True, but again, don't let it put you off. Once it's clear that you have a real problem and are serious about getting it fixed--he's professional and straightforward.

I absolutely will tell everyone never to go hear for anything the guy is rude and disrespectful.
