What I received 8 months later was a cheap fabric and a rush job. My sofa needed a wood stabilizer on left side due to a crack under the seat. It wasn't fixed properly as that side they fixed still sits lower than the other cushions which I also had replaced. Jose never responded to my calls to have it fixed properly. The material he said was suitable for cats, isn't. I loved these sofas because there were my parents, & because it took them a year to pay them off because they wanted quality over quick. They were the perfect sofa set! Now, they're a constant source of frustration & pain.

It is so rare to find someone who has mastered the art of furniture reupholstery, or, in our case, regluing wood furniture. The back pieces of our 25-year-old Pottery Barn Italian Napolean Chair came unglued and Enrique fixed it in a week. For such a reasonable price! He is dedicated to refurbishing well-crafted pieces and we are so grateful! No landfill for this gem. YAY! Highly recommended. We'll be back if we need anything else (he does not fix caning). Thanks Enrique!

He encouraged me to see what the swatch looks like in person and I'm so glad he did! The color of fabric I saw online was different when I saw it in person. I ended up going for a darker color. The set came out beautifully and am so happy he was able to bring my vision to life. He has a plethora of different fabrics to choose from. Very friendly and would recommend 10/10!

I'm like buddy, I can go and get this whole brand new piece as a sectional for that haha. Anyways, Sanchez Upholstery gave me a price that I thought was fair for the ask and turned it around in one day. Time will tell how his stitching technique will hold up, but seems fine upon initial inspection. I would recommend him purely on him not charging me $345, his communication through yelp, and his turn around time for the work being super quick if you need something like this done.

We could picture what we wanted in material so it helped in choosing quickly the fabric color and texture. John is extremely patient and professional. During this time of self-isolation there was no need to hurry but John made sure to keep in contact with us as how the process was going. We needed a very firm foam for the seat and it turned out just what we needed. The overall cost of the reupholstering along with the firm foam and the bead work was worth every penny. He also made arrangements for pick up and delivery. Thank you John and staff!

Yelp Review 10…read moreThumbs Up! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Carlos from Riviera Upholstery, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience! Carlos came to my home and helped me choose the perfect fabrics and styles for my loveseat, couch (which is also a sleeper sofa), and headboard. He brought so many beautiful fabric options, and the process was truly enjoyable. We chose a beautiful royal soft blue for the couches and a creamy brown for the headboard, and everything came out AMAZING! Every time someone comes over, their face lights up and they ask, "Oh my God! Did you get new furniture?" I proudly tell them, "Nope! This is the same furniture I've had for over 30 years!" I decided to go old-school, just like my grandmothers and aunties used to do--reupholster quality furniture instead of throwing it away. I also love that this company has been around for so many years. My husband even remembered that his mother had work done by this same company years ago! The delivery team was also outstanding. They were professional, careful, and respectful of my home. They removed the furniture without damaging anything and returned everything beautifully, putting it all back exactly where it belonged. I am genuinely overjoyed with how everything turned out. The furniture looks brand new, but it still has the sentimental value of pieces I've had for decades. I truly believe this furniture will last me another 30 years! And hopefully, my son will keep it, pass it down, and continue the tradition--and keep coming back to Riviera Upholstery just like we did. Riviera Upholstery gets 10 thumbs up from me! Thank you, Carlos, and the entire team, for bringing my furniture back to life!
