However my cc expired and I wasnt aware of it until I got a letter from them threatening to suspend my service and charge me a reinstatement fee!! Wish I could leave no stars. The drivers are among the most disrespectful people I have ever met. They continue to drive down a one way street at a high rate of speed, the wrong way. They have now completely destroyed my brand new sidewalk because they are too lazy to exit their truck and roll the dumpster to the truck. Attempts to file in small claims court have failed because they are not located at 2325 2nd St in Chester like they advertise ... or perhaps they are just scum bags who refuse to accept mail from District Court? Accounting problems customer service sucks RUN!!!! Told me on March 20 they raised my prices and that I owe def them $100.77 I paid and they cashed my check on the 21, 2022 so leaving a zero balance. They told me that they would pickup up my trash but never did when I called them on the 31st they told me that I owed for my residence so they stopped my business account which owed nothing setup on auto pay. So I told them they owed me a credit for the business because they had not picked up since February give me the credit and put it on the roll off and I'll pay the remaining balance but they refuse to give me credit.. Not a good company not honest and up front. I was scammed

Would not recommend. I started with them for my trash removal in October at once a week. They were not picking up the trash on scheduled day, they were notified, still never came. It was over two weeks before my trash was picked up. This occurred on several occasions. After six months of hit or miss service and multiple phone calls I cancelled. Very poor service. Had them for less than 2 months. They are extremely overpriced. I typically wouldn't write a negative review; however, after multiple issues I decided to. I was told that I could put up to 3 cans outside. One of which is theirs. The one time I actually did, they emptied theirs and left the other two. When I called them less than an hour after they picked it up, i was told they could not come back and wouldn't be back until my next pickup day. Not happy with how i was spoken to on the phone but I dealt with it. I then found another company half the price. I called to cancel my service and they told me, and I quote "well you paid for the next month So you will have to wait until 2/1 for a can pickup". Again I dealt with it. They failed to pick up my can on 2/1. I called today and they told me to leave it back out this Wednesday. I come home and the can is gone. No phone call. They came into my closed off yard and took the can. If I did not have cameras, they could have claimed that they did not pick it up and try to charge me for it. I'm waiting to see if I even get a call on by Wednesday. Maybe it's just my bad experience with them. I'm sure it is. But definitely didn't feel like they cared if I stayed or left. read more

Very nice business out of Gradyville, PA. (I guess the processing facility is the Chester address?) Like most local trash companies (Opdenaker, Laxton, etc.) this is a family-run business. As with bigger companies, they offer online bill pay which is very helpful. With our ongoing service, we received free use of one of those new HUGE wheeled trash cans with the attached lid that flaps over. It is a nice dark green too, to camouflage it. Very nice touch! Not sure if this offer is still available (for others), but we much appreciate the ease and volume when we have a lot to get rid of. I ordered/prepaid for a 10 yard dumpster. When they delivered the dumpster we had 2"x12" boards on site for the driver to set the dumpster on with my assistance in the driveway. The delivery driver did a nice job setting the dumpster without damaging the driveway. When the dumpster was picked up, the driver pulled the dumpster off the boards at a 45 degree angle across the driveway and the lawn doing damage to both. I called J&K about the damage and they asked me to send them pictures. They said the owner would get back to me with a resolution. No call back, no resolution. I disputed the credit card charge. Still no call. J&K has a disclaimer in very small print on their delivery ticket that says they can damage your property and they aren't liable! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR PROPERTY DAMAGED! read more

I ordered a dumpster last week with a scheduled delivery of Friday. Not only did the dumpster not arrive (even though I had already paid in full) but the business did not notify me of any issues on their end and did not respond to me when I reached out. This incompetence not only led to further financial losses for me (beyond the cost of the dumpster which I am unsure if it will be refunded) but significant frustration in that we were scheduled to do a job and the job is not done. You should be ashamed at the caliber of employees that you hire. I was verbally attacked by two of your employees collecting trash from outside 7-Eleven across from Widener University yesterday morning. I am a 40 yo white female n comments about me being white n my body were yelled at me in broad daylight. If ur employees have no issue w conducting themselves this way while on the job, I woder how they would act if I crossed their path at night. They acted like savages, laughing, clowning around, commenting about me being white. Yes I called n reported this. If your employees have no problem driving around in a company truck and acting like this with your name printed right on the side of their truck then I can only imagine how they act while on the job. read more

An employee here name Mike P. is rude and belligerent. When you have on a companies uniform that you are working for and are still representing since you are on the job. You should be representing that company in a well manner. Yelling at someone and being completely obnoxious should not be the right way to represent your company. We use to use J & K as our business trash removal for years. However today when Mike approached our business and started banging on our back door and started to yell at the business owner and said that he could not park on his OWN property because it was blocking his way is not the right way to handle this type of situation. Mike could have asked us nicely to move our car and we would have been more than happy to do so. However he approached the situation the completely wrong way. read more
