I was worried because my elderly father was coming to stay for the holidays but they finished the painting with days to spare. Domingo even worked on weekends just to make that happen, and his work is impeccable. Jennifer also answered every question and concern -- we had plaster walls that weren't simple to paint, and we also wanted no VOC paint, and she worked to secure the specific paint type we needed. When we originally got quotes, not every painting company was willing to scrape and match the ceilings in our home. Fresh Coat told us they could and did the job beautifully -- they scraped our old popcorn ceiling, matched the living room ceiling to our kitchen ceiling, and painted all the walls and doors in our home. Our previously dark brown walled home is now light and bright. We plan on painting our house exterior in a few years and will only use this team. David, the owner, was the very first person to respond to my inquiry, and from the beginning, he exceeded my expectations with his responsiveness, professionalism, kindness, and respect. I provided the information he needed by text, and he was prompt about getting back to me, answering all of my questions, and providing me with a detailed estimate. He also followed up with me afterward, which I really appreciated. Ultimately, I decided to go with another local painting company that was closer to me and better suited to my timeframe. It had nothing to do with David or my experience with him; the other company was simply a better fit for my particular circumstances. His estimate was extremely fair and in fact, was even lower than one of the others. Good customer service seems harder and harder to find these days, so when someone is this responsive, respectful, and considerate of your time, I think it's worth acknowledging. David, thank you for your time, your professionalism, and for making the process so easy and pleasant. I truly appreciate it. We hired A1 painting because they're supposed to be the 'professionals' in this field and expected them to have the knowledge to deal with any type of situation/weather. If the heat was a problem for doing quality painting, I wish that was communicated to us from the beginning. Instead they went ahead with doing the job and then blamed external circumstances for their failure. Secondly, they gave us a quote and said they'd use the best quality paint for the job. However, I overheard them speaking to each other and mentioning they saved money on the materials. Two stars for the decent work Walter has done on the doors.
