We had the exterior of our house painted 18 months ago, and I waited until now to write the review…read moreso I could report on the longevity of the paint job. Our home was built in 1895, so I was nervous about the repainting process. I shouldn't have been. In short, this is an exceptional house painting company. As a local company, they are invested in customer care. Every stage of the process was thoughtful, from the conversations during the estimate visit, through the painting process where the painters clearly took deep pride in their work (with good reason!), through the clean up. The painters were careful and detailed in their work, and left us with solid advice for next steps for our home. The paint itself has held up perfectly through the past 18 months, despite the hefty weather extremes. I can't recommend them more strongly.

We're juggling post-lead and asbestos remediation, renting a place 40 minutes away, working full-time, and caring for a young child. Instead of being upfront about his "one-contractor only" expectation, he chose to waste our time and walk away on the spot. It came across as unprofessional, inflexible, and dismissive of our situation. If you consider hiring Seong, make sure you ask very clearly about his attitude toward competing bids and your time. Based on our experience, I would not rely on him for anything that requires basic respect, communication, or professionalism.

Arteen is an owner-operator who takes pride in his work, and the quality shows. We've had many paint jobs done in different homes over the years, and his attention to detail really stood out. He was careful to keep everything clean before and after painting. For example, he removed every light switch, outlet, and fixture, cleaned them, and carefully put everything back. We were impressed enough with his attention to detail that we also asked him to take care of some additional home improvement work that wasn't related to painting. He was flexible about working around other vendors who were in the home at the same time, and he communicated clearly throughout the project. We always knew when he would be there, what he planned to accomplish, and what had been completed. He is also a genuinely nice person and a pleasure to have around. We would definitely recommend Arteen and will certainly call him again for future projects.

James Chung is the kind of painter you tolerate to do a paint job fast and relatively cheap,…read morehowever you would be sacrificing details and good communication. He was difficult to communicate with and overall very reluctant to help with anything beyond painting, such as removing smoke detectors and patch up the hole to paint the area. The paint job looked good upon first glance but because he freehanded the project and didn't tape out sections that should be left unpainted, there were paint droplets left all over the various surfaces of my place.
