We had cauliflower soup, black rice risotto, the salmon, and the beef stroganoff and they were all lovely. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs.

Visited this lovely restaurant again, but this time with family and friends, party of 10, for several celebrations. Our lovely Aidana helped us curate a brunch menu starting with pitchers of refreshing mango and passion fruit drinks and several dumplings or peorogies for appetizers. We ordered a diversity of dishes from the menu - egg benedict , sharshuka, sea bass, duck salad, and steak. The presentations were all beautiful and the flavors delicious, authentic and well balanced. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional and I was touched at the personal care and attention they provided . Our guests were amazed at the quality of service and delicious cuisine, which made our gathering truly memorable, Thank you!

Went here for brunch around 11:30 on Friday . The decor was very inviting and ambiance very cozy. The staff were very nice and made sure to accommodate all of our requests despite customizations. It shows that they are trying their best to cater to the best of their abilities to satisfy every customer. We ordered the house syrniki and it was very tasty. I thought it was a bit overpriced though. Also the avocado toast, and the poached eggs were very delicious. I also ordered the salmon pasta , which was on the lunch menu. It was delicious and creamy just the way I like it. It was a bit heavy though so I could only eat half of it . The overall experience was great. Prices are overall reasonable. I truly hope they keep their quality and the price because most places don't and that's how they fail. There were a couple of small suggestions that I shared with their management and he was very glad to take them with a smile .

I had a wonderful experience at Izba! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and everything tasted fresh. The service was excellent, especially one of the girls who served us -- unfortunately, I don't remember her name, but she was very kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I also noticed that some of the staff are from the CIS, which made the atmosphere feel very comfortable and welcoming. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back again!

The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect place for both family dinners and meeting friends. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Izba to anyone looking for amazing Eastern European cuisine!

As soon as we walked in, we noticed the warm and welcoming atmosphere from the staff, the cozy and cutesy design of the restaurant, and the tasteful music. As for the food, everything was made wholeheartedly and with quality. Our party had a child with picky taste and they were kindly able to accommodate our needs. A special thank you to our sweet and amazing server, Silvia, who made our experience at Izba especially delightful. Will absolutely be coming back for the Friday/Saturday evening performances as well.

I had breakfast at Izba in Glendale and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and tasted truly homemade--fresh, comforting, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal. The staff was very welcoming, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Yulia, who was incredibly polite, attentive, and professional. She made our experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for authentic homemade breakfast in Glendale with great hospitality, I highly recommend Izba. I'll definitely be coming back!

The food at Izba was really, really good -- everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and just honestly enjoyable. You can tell Chef Ken knows what he's doing Big shoutout to Aidana, our waitress -- she was super sweet, attentive, and made us feel very comfortable. And David at the front was also great, very welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in. Overall, such a nice experience. Definitely coming back!

It was our first time going last Friday night and we thought it would be American food from the Yelp category, but we were pleasantly surprised to realize that they serve Eastern European comfort food. My husband ordered the beef tongue stroganoff and I ordered the duck, which was delicious and beautifully plated. The mashed potato was delicious and we asked for some bread to clean off the plate of leftover potato. This place is fairly new and we enjoyed the ambiance and the service was very warm and accommodating. They also have really fresh squeezed juices, so good!

Been here twice since it opened and it's only getting better. It's the home cooking you're craving without having to dirty your kitchen. The staff is kind/attentive and I've left both times planning what I'm going to order the next time.

First of all, if you haven't been to Montrose, this was my first time, I highly recommend a visit. Main Street has an old-time feel, with plenty of cute restaurants and interesting shops. One of those restaurants is the black cow Café. The menu is very diverse with plenty of healthy and vegetarian options. I had the black bean burger, and it was delicious. I had planned on ordering the bean chili. I really appreciated my server who asked me if I ate meat, the bean chili did have meat in it even though it didn't say so on the menu as far as I could tell. She could've easily just taken my order, but instead she took the extra step to make sure I understood what I was ordering. All in all, I had a great experience here and would certainly recommend if you happen to be in the area.

Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café…read more Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café reminded me that we live for the wonderful experiences that remain to be discovered. After a wonderful lunch date with my wife at Raffi's Place (please read my review and thank me later) in Glendale, I decided to look for the perfect dessert. After scouting several nearby locations, I decided I was in the mood for a great cinnamon roll. Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café looked like the place that would deliver the experience I was seeking. SDLBC is listed as being in Glendale, but it's located in the historic Old Town of Montrose. That's beside the point; I only mention it because there are additional places to explore just up the street. We arrived around 3:00 p.m. on a Saturday, and there wasn't much of a selection left, including the highly sought-after cinnamon roll. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us warmly, and I immediately asked if that was all the pastries they had. He said yes. I contemplated leaving because of the nonexistent cinnamon roll, but I didn't want to be rude, so I decided to give the bakery a try since we were already there. So, we basically took half of what remained behind the glass display case: a Peach Almond Croissant, a Raspberry Pistachio Croissant, an Almond Croissant, and then my curiosity focused on a few lonely-looking pastries that were unfamiliar to my discerning eyes. I asked the gentleman what they were, and he replied with something that sounded completely foreign to me: Kouign-Amann. Kouign-Amann (pronounced queen ah-MAHN) is a traditional pastry from the region of Brittany, France. It is often considered one of the richest pastries in the world because it is made with just a few simple ingredients in generous proportions: bread dough, butter, and sugar. Figuring we needed a few more sweets for the road, we took all the remaining Kouign-Amanns. Two were the traditional version, and the other two were filled with crème and blueberry jam. We also ordered a Café Americano and a Café Mocha. While we waited for our drinks, I simply couldn't wait any longer. Like a kid on Christmas morning, I eagerly opened my gift and dug right into the Kouign-Amann. Hesitantly, I tore off a tiny piece with my fingers, expecting nothing extraordinary, and instantly gave birth to a brand-new experience that exploded in my mouth. The crisp exterior gave way to the soft, flaky center, followed by waves of what tasted like delicate honey. I tore off another piece and shared it with my wife. One look at her eyes told me she wanted more. By the time our drinks were ready, we had devoured one of the Kouign-Amanns and confessed to the gentleman behind the counter that we had just experienced pure ecstasy in the form of a pastry. Kouign-Amann is, in fact, one of the richest pastries in the world, so don't let the unfamiliar name keep you from trying one. The Café Americano and the Café Mocha were also exceptionally well prepared. With everything that's happening in the world these days, a simple yet profound experience like this reminded me how wonderful life can still be. Like Arnold said... "I'll be back." Enjoy!

The croissant selection is incredible. I love the indoor seating, but they also have outdoor seating. I washed it down with a short Americano, two shots and I threw in some extra cream. I have to tell you this chocolate mousse cake is the right portion otherwise I would eat the whole thing in this case the powers that be more wise and gave me a slice and Man was it delicious.

What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed the food because I wasn't necessarily expecting such traditional Mexican flavors. But honestly, one of the best ways to judge a Mexican restaurant is by the salsa--and their salsa is seriously good. On our second visit, I ordered the carne asada plate, and my wife got the beef fajitas. Let me start with the carne asada: the flavors were authentic, the meat was delicious, and the handmade tortillas were a standout. They were so soft and fresh that I honestly think they were one of the reasons I kept going back for another bite. Everything just worked together. I also tried my wife's beef fajitas, and they had some really good, bold flavors. The vegetables, beef, and seasoning all came together really well. Overall, we've really enjoyed both experiences here. Great Mexican flavors, fresh handmade tortillas, excellent salsa, and food that feels authentic and full of flavor. We'll definitely be back.
