This is the ONLY place I trust to do my eyebrows! I used to go to super brows, but they messed them up. For the past 4 years this is my spot. Everyone that works here is polite and wonderful. No one has ever messed up my eyebrows or made them too thin :)

Multiple scrapes on my eyelid skin, still reddish and hurts after an hour

I've been to this place 3x, major hit n miss. Come here at your own risk. 1 - When it comes to eyebrow threading, They don't know how to map it. Also, they are very harsh with threading they will burn your skin. My eyelid had scratches and minor bleeding. 2 - The place smells like a very strong lady perfume - so strong you can taste it that i vomited what I ate for lunch when i got home. It also triggered my nasal allergies 3 - They force you to tip. I tip, but when you force me, it makes me not want to. TIP means TO INSURE PERFORMANCE. If the service is bad, why would I reward you at all on top of the services I'm already paying for? Insane practice of ridiculous tipping culture aka entitlement (and I've been a server before) 4 - If you are not paying cash, you have to pay $2 card fee. Hawaii establishments won't even charge that much for using cards. Highway robbery at its finest. Overall: terrible threading skills, terrible customer service, terrible business practices

I booked an appointment for today at 5:45pm and I received a text confirming my appointment. I called prior to heading over to ask if they could see me earlier given my schedule free'd up only to find out I have no appointment because the "guy that does lashes is on vacation". I give them two stars because whoever answered the phone was (somewhat) apologetic. Won't be recommending this place nor will I ever go. Client's time is as important as the "guy on vacation's" time. Unreliable service.

I usually like the services but this Monday, Oct. 24 at 7pm I went with my daughter and had a really bad experience and bad service. I got cut and also didn't like how she made my eyebrows threading. I am actually so disappointed writing this review as I've been here multiple times with IZ and Fatima which are literally AMAZING brow artists. I walked in today for another eyebrow clean up and for reference my eyebrows are naturally very thick and grow very long. The lady that did my eyebrows I believe her name is Maria I'm not quite sure but she literally CHOPPED off some of my eyebrow hairs and left gaps on BOTH of them. The lady did not even clean them up correctly. There was no reason for her to CUT THEM SO SHORT. Only a TRIM would've been needed. I did speak to IZ and even showed him pictures I took of TODAY before going in how my brows looked and the lady was saying that I walked into their facility with gaps all over my brows and that she was trying to "match" them. Along with that she stated I was being mean about it and "what could she possibly do to fix?" With an attitude. Excuse me but this should be a studio filled with professional brow artists and shouldn't be about THEIR feelings but the customers. I will be uploading BEFORE and AFTER pics for references. Also, IZ did try giving me a free visit for next time but with NO REFUND. If anything, it should've been a FREE visit AND my refund. If you come here just make sure you go to IZ or FATIMA literally no one else ..

I haven't threaded my eyebrows in years because the last person who did my eyebrows cut me and left my eyebrows crooked. With IZ eyebrow threading my eyebrows are clean, I still have thick brows, and it was basically painless!! Highly recommended!! read more

New eyebrow threading salon, heard really good comments about this place so I brought my sister to get her eyebrows done for the first time. IZ did a great job, he left eye brows full and even. He explained to us what he thought looked good for her since she's only 15 and this was her first time getting them done, I thought that was very kind of him. I got my face threaded by a woman. I regret getting my face threaded by her A) her nails were long asf. Why? B) She was wearing so many bangles. Her long nails were too close to my face for comfort. I'll I could think of was hoping she cleaned her nails. She did a good job and I paid $30. Wouldn't go back due to the reasons listed above. read more

So much for recommending threading because they can "control" the shaping. I love threading my eyebrows because its painless and they do have control in shaping your brows. But this particular places doesn't have that, not for $12 just for eyebrows. Im disappointed to say I wasn't satisfied with my brows from both my visits here. I gave them a two stars rating because they're clean. Maybe in the future I'll consider coming back, hopefully they'll be more experienced by then. read more

Got my brows done here in hopes of finding another quality threading option close to work. Was not disappointed! IZ was professional, gentle with the thread and kept my brows natural and well groomed. Got my brows done again here. Poor quality of work by a different threader this time. Chunks of hair taken out of the eyebrow and they are uneven. Will have to shade some parts in until it grows back. Will not be back in the future. read more

First time here found it on yelp. The gentlemen greeted me and was very nice. Its been a long time since I've had my whole face threaded. He was very accommodating and did a great job. He answered all of my questions and gave me the astringent so that my face wouldn't be red. They have a card with a free eyebrow after 7 times. Highly recommended!!! read more

I had my eyebrows threaded by the young lady with dark hair. She was very sweet and did a nice job. But I had a Brazilian done by the older lady and she was very rough. I was in so much pain the entire time. Would not pull the skin taught as she pulled the wax off, and would get mad when the wax didn't come off right. She also very rudely pushed my small amount of stomach fat up and made me hold it. And when I flinched from the pain she told me no. And when I tried to make conversation she would ignore me and literally told me she did not like her job. I was very unsatisfied and I'm a lot of pain, and I've had Brazilians before. read more

For the first time today I went and got my eyebrows and upper lip done very pleased with the service . I just went for a clean up and the guy did a great job and went he did my upper lip he even got some of my nose hairs . Yeah I know way to much info but it was cool I paid 18 all total which is not so bad . The only thing is a little irritating is that the business owner takes his daughter and she will distract him . They also increased their prices lately and I just don't think the service is worth it anymore.

But after yesterday I will never go back there again and I hope they rot in hell. My fiance got a pedicure and I got a fill on my full set. The total was $60 and we used our card on there square machine. I gave them a cash $10 tip because I am pregnant at 33 weeks and I am trying to save cause we are moving to Yuma Arizona in a week. Later last night my fiance checked his account and little did we know they decided to charge us $800 for a tip! I can't believe this.

Ever since I've started telling them, I've had maybe one or two tiny cuts. It's to be expected for me though due to my skin. I still like their service and they are very kind.

Iz is not the best when it comes to eyebrow tattoos. I took my mom to Iz for her eyebrows to be tattooed. She had regular (not 3D) tattoos in the past and the last time she had a regular tattoos was about 7 years ago. Iz said 3D tattoo will work even though she had regular tattoo in the past, charged us $350 the first time for 3D tattoo. 10 days later her eyebrows faded and she looked like she had two eyebrows. I contacted Iz and he said to come back (only 10 days later) to do a touch-up that needed to be done 6 weeks later. He was optimistic that the second time it will be darker and the double eyebrow issue will be fixed with the touch-up. He charged us another $100 for the touch-up and said she probably not need another touch-up because he has gone deeper into the skin and this will not fade. It only took another 10 days for her eyebrows to fade again and look like she has 2 eyebrows (see picture). When I contacted Iz again he said that this is a problem with her skin condition and not what he has done. We have paid $450 for eyebrows that look worst than before. read more

To cut this review to the point let me say Iz is the most amazing threader in Chula Vista now! I've been to countless number of locations and no one does the threading job Iz does. He is patient and his work is exquisite ! He listens to what the customer wants and he explains his options of what would look best. And the outcome is fantastic every time ! I would highly recommend Iz eyebrow threading to everyone. I have got all the ladies I know on board. Way better than waxing (which as a make-up artist) is very bad for the skin. Especially the face which is so sensitive. I have never left un-satisfied with Iz job. Needless to say I was over the moon when I found out he opened he's new locations on his own. He will do amazing there ! It's centrally located in Chula Vista near lots of busy stores ... Went to IZ one night after getting of the trolley on Palomar St. I had passed by it everyday and unfortunately wasn't interested because I saw a guy doing it. Since I've had so many bad experiences with people butchering my eyebrows, especially women, I wasn't going to expect a man to do it any better. But to my surprise, I was totally wrong to judge. IZ is the god of eyebrow threading!!!! I have never gotten my eyebrows threaded in such a delicate and pain-less manner!!! Not only did he shape my eyebrows perfectly, but he also didn't over thread and actually gave me a plan as to how I was to get back my eyebrows that have not been able to grow fully from my past experiences. Iv been going here for about 6 months now and I can say it has the most friendly staff and has some of the best work I have ever seen. I have naturally thick eyebrows and always struggled to find a place that would give them a nice shape and form, most places will leave them super thin, this is the only place I trust my eyebrows no matter who does them, all their staff knows how to help and give form. Today I went and was attended by Ann and OH MY GOSH! Literal the BEST work I have ever seen on myself and literally the FRIENDLIEST, asked me how my day was going and our plans for this Valentine's Day weekend, I highly recommend her she act took her time and made sure my eyebrows looked the best. When I had waxing on my eyebrows, the shape was never right and my eyebrows always looked weird as the wax would be applied in circular blobs,my eyebrows were oddly shaped.Threading It is quick, not painful at all and there is no redness or after effects. Best of all the shape is exactly how I like as the thread can be directed to achieve the shape I like. I had threading done by IZ around 3 weeks ago, the result was outstanding! I have not had my eyebrows done since, it seems to last much longer than waxing. My skin felt so smooth afterwards. IZ is great too,very talented at all things to do with beauty! This eyebrow threading location is the best eyebrow place I have ever gone to in my life! Izzac the owner and his emplyees there working are extremely nice and comforting not only that they are the best at what they do whether it is eyebrow threading, eyebrow microblading, eyelash extensions, or styling and making hair beautiful!! Seriously I am always coming here and will tell everyone to come here because they are the best. Everything is a high end proffessional place eveeyone needs to expierence. IZ is the best not only in threading your eyebrows but very talented in microblading. I had wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed for awhile now but I was afraid they would not turn out good. I trusted IZ to microblade them and I'm glad I did. He did an amazing job!! Thank you IZ!! My daughters have also had their eyebrows microbladed by IZ and they turned out amazing as well!! Hand down best place to get your eyebrows threaded The employees are amazing and wonderful. It's my second time and my little sisters first and she absolutely loved it too. Her eyebrows are nice and thick just the way they're suppose to be . Other places did it either too thin or made us look like cholas , not pleasant at all. This has been my go-to eyebrow threading place since it was first established here in Chula Vista. Faten is normally the one that does my eyebrows and she is absolutely amazing. Though I have gotten threaded by the other women and even IZ himself and would overall recommend any one of them. They are masters in what they do. The price has unfortunately gone up because of covid but I don't really mind it because it's worth the money anyway. read more

Honestly was looking for a place that can thread my eyebrows because mine are thick and honestly walked and they were able to do them, I believe her name was Layla? It is a great value for the Service and the price you pay , in addition to the lovely hospitality of the employees. I spent lovely time with nice and clean hair cut. Saw lots of Customers in the shop were happy and felt like a family. Worker are very clean and using Masks and hand sanitizers. The best place in town! I used to go to a location inside the Plaza Bonita mall but I had an incident with one of the employees. She was quite rude. This is the best eyebrow place I have been too. I always go here for my eyebrows. I am very picky on my eyebrows and Izzac Always does my eyebrows.
