This is the ONLY place I trust to do my eyebrows! I used to go to super brows, but they messed them up. For the past 4 years this is my spot. Everyone that works here is polite and wonderful. No one has ever messed up my eyebrows or made them too thin :)

I booked an appointment for today at 5:45pm and I received a text confirming my appointment. I called prior to heading over to ask if they could see me earlier given my schedule free'd up only to find out I have no appointment because the "guy that does lashes is on vacation". I give them two stars because whoever answered the phone was (somewhat) apologetic. Won't be recommending this place nor will I ever go. Client's time is as important as the "guy on vacation's" time. Unreliable service.

Multiple scrapes on my eyelid skin, still reddish and hurts after an hour

I've been to this place 3x, major hit n miss. Come here at your own risk. 1 - When it comes to eyebrow threading, They don't know how to map it. Also, they are very harsh with threading they will burn your skin. My eyelid had scratches and minor bleeding. 2 - The place smells like a very strong lady perfume - so strong you can taste it that i vomited what I ate for lunch when i got home. It also triggered my nasal allergies 3 - They force you to tip. I tip, but when you force me, it makes me not want to. TIP means TO INSURE PERFORMANCE. If the service is bad, why would I reward you at all on top of the services I'm already paying for? Insane practice of ridiculous tipping culture aka entitlement (and I've been a server before) 4 - If you are not paying cash, you have to pay $2 card fee. Hawaii establishments won't even charge that much for using cards. Highway robbery at its finest. Overall: terrible threading skills, terrible customer service, terrible business practices

I usually like the services but this Monday, Oct. 24 at 7pm I went with my daughter and had a really bad experience and bad service. I got cut and also didn't like how she made my eyebrows threading. Hope they will have more professional ladies. This place I have been going for a few years but lately not liking it.

I have been coming here for a while now and I ask the lady to please not to touch the front part of my eyebrow. However she didn't listen to my request and took the front of one of my eyebrows! after growing them out for months. It's alway a hit or miss with this place. :( read more

Writting this down this review is sad for me. I've been coming here for around 2 years (iz ) the owner has been nothing but nice , attentive & courteous. I went in for a cleaning the lady who I bealive is new made my eyebrows uneven. She had no compassion towards me being hurt by how hard she was threading . She raised her voice at me saying "pull so it won't hurt " .... she was annoyed at me & LEFT MY EYEBROWS UNEVEN. When i saw myself i wanted to cry. I did not make a fuss because i did not want an altercation. It has now been 2 weeks and my eyebrows are still crooked. This was my go to place & i am sad I won't be returning. I will not keep recommending either:( horrible women with bad customer service read more

I did eyebrow and forehead threading today. The service was nice, and I love how my eyebrows turned out! My brother got a haircut today by IZ and he loved it! I hate writing this, as this is the place I've absolutely loved for more than 3 years. I usually look for this lady who is blonde and does hair too, because she is amazing. I really don't know what she is going through right now, but she left me with HORRIBLE eyebrows. They're uneven, she cut the hairs so short, it looks like I have GAPS in my eyebrows, I can't even find a proper way to "fix" them while I grow them out. Ya'll jumped from charging 12 to 18 real quick, the least I deserve is even eyebrows. read more

This is the best place EVER to get your eyebrows waxed or threaded ... IZ is the owner and the best at what he does and is very friendly ! The asian lady helped me out to thread my eyebrows, as soon as I sat down she said where do you get your eyebrows done there so bad like who says that. Then she's like you have no shape and I needed up having uneven eyebrows and she cut the end part of one of them only, now I have one squared and low and the other one round and high read more

I've been now to this place twice. They are fast and VERY EFFICIENT! My eyebrows always look perfect when I leave. The ladies are nice and it's not super busy. I like that they really concentrate on what you want and don't make my eyebrows too thin. If you don't like anything they are always willing to fix it. Superior customer service! I will never go anywhere else ! I was a little skeptical because a lady did my brows whom I never seen before but she nailed it ! No complaints and she was SUPER quick! I've only had one semi in satisfying visit and that's when it first opened because my eyebrows were uneven but I'm always super happy leaving this place. I used to live in Chula Vista but living further up in San Diego I still don't mind driving down here. I won't even attempt getting them waxed or threaded elsewhere. read more

Super disappointed in the service lately. I used to rave about this place because the ladies (and Iz) were so gentle and attentive. The lady I had today was very rough and heavy handed and cut me twice between my brows and under my brow. She was going so fast she nearly pulled out a lab extension. Not sure if I'd keep recommending as this isn't the first time anymore. read more

Let me just say, I am the most specific and annoying person in the world when it comes to my eyebrows. I have had them absolutely ruined in the past, to the point that it took me roughly 6 months to regrow them properly. Can you imagine the horror? Anyway, I digress. But suffice to say I am very particular. I recently moved to California, which meant I left my trusted eyebrow connoisseur behind in my old state. After setting out on what seemed like an endless search for the right match for threading, I can safely say I have found him. To begin with, the establishment is beautiful. You walk into the doors and it's an immediate relief. Such a quiet, serene environment to have your eyebrows done in. Very neat, very pristine and it smells ravishingly. I sat in the chair and the gentleman began doing my brows - generally I am accustomed to feeling the pull and tug as the hair is threaded off. Not this time! He is so light handed and it makes a world of difference. My shape and arch are so perfect I could not have imagined a better job if I tried. He is truly an eyebrow genie. And for $10? I was prepared to pay $20 for how wonderful a job he did. I will forever be a return customer. The most pleasant experience yet! read more

IZ is seriously the best! I first started going to him when he worked in Eastlake and I trust only him to do my eyebrows. So I obviously had to come to his new shop! The place is nice and there's a comfortable atmosphere. IZ is so nice and welcoming and he's SO good at shaping eyebrows. When I talk to him about my shape and when I tell him how I want my eyebrows to look he literally does exactly what I want. I always get so many compliments on my eyebrows when I get them done by IZ. Eyebrows are SO important!!! And if you want perfect eyebrows I suggest you go to IZ! My eyebrows always end up super cleaned up. Great and friendly staff. I originally went in there just for my eyebrow threading but they do it all! On my way out I asked for a good hair salon and they told me they cut hair too! I explained what I wanted and they did a fantastic job! Ann gave me the exact cut I wanted and it looked so great. The prices were completely reasonable too. Been coming here for about 2 years have always had great experience until 3 weeks ago, walked in to get my eyebrows cleaned up a day before my wedding and the lady that helped me messed up my eyebrows. One shorter than the other and made them super thin when that was the first Fkn thing I told her!!!! Now I'm stuck with bushy eyebrows letting them grow to get them fixed again all thanks to he!!! Never again will I let her touch my eyebrows!!! By the way she was in chair #1 big lips and wearing long nails and lots of bangles. read more

I checked out this place only because I read the reviews. IZ is wonderful! Very great customer service. He takes his time with you and gives you exactly what you request. He's gentle with his threading. I don't know if it's the type of thread he uses, but this place is the only place that doesn't leave my eyebrows so red. I'd recommend him to anyone! read more

I have been coming here for a few years now. A lady in a makeup store recommended him. Haven't waxed my brows since. I typically go for a good shape up and tweeze for maintenance. My husband always comes with and gets his brows cleaned up as well. Everyone does a great job on our eyebrows. Service is always quick and everyone is so friendly. I 100% recommend this place to anyone. They also do micro blading as well as a bunch of other salon services now too. read more

Unfortunately, it's about the salon owner, whose behavior is consistently rude, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing for someone running a business. From my very first appointment, she set the tone. I walked in with a Starbucks for myself and my stylist... completely unaware the salon had a café (which was closed, by the way). Instead of a normal greeting or a simple "Just so you know, we have coffee here," she loudly blurted out, "Who brings Starbucks here?" as if I had just broken a house rule. Not exactly the welcoming vibe you expect when you're coming in to spend money. Her attitude has been the same every visit since: dirty looks, zero acknowledgment unless you're her direct client, and an overall negative energy that shifts the whole room the second she walks in. And it's not just me. My best friend and my mom have both gone to the same stylist and experienced the exact same treatment from the owner. The same snarky comments, the same judgmental looks, the same cold, uninviting demeanor. So it's clearly a pattern, not a one-off. One moment that really stuck with me: it was just me, my stylist, and the owner in the salon. My stylist stepped into another room, so I raised my voice slightly to make sure she could hear me. The salon was empty. Yet I overheard the owner mutter, "Why is your client so loud? She's in a salon." Instead of speaking to anyone directly or respectfully, she chose to insult a paying client behind their back. Completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Even if YOU the paying client says hi to her she looks you up and down and gives a cold hi back. At this point, the only reason I've ever tolerated stepping foot into this salon is because of my hairstylist. Who deserves better, and so do her clients. If you value professionalism, respect, and a welcoming environment, I'd strongly recommend booking with these amazing stylists anywhere else if they offer services at another location. The talent here is great. The owner is the problem.

Iz is not the best when it comes to eyebrow tattoos. I took my mom to Iz for her eyebrows to be tattooed. She had regular (not 3D) tattoos in the past and the last time she had a regular tattoos was about 7 years ago. Iz said 3D tattoo will work even though she had regular tattoo in the past, charged us $350 the first time for 3D tattoo. 10 days later her eyebrows faded and she looked like she had two eyebrows. I contacted Iz and he said to come back (only 10 days later) to do a touch-up that needed to be done 6 weeks later. He was optimistic that the second time it will be darker and the double eyebrow issue will be fixed with the touch-up. He charged us another $100 for the touch-up and said she probably not need another touch-up because he has gone deeper into the skin and this will not fade. It only took another 10 days for her eyebrows to fade again and look like she has 2 eyebrows (see picture). When I contacted Iz again he said that this is a problem with her skin condition and not what he has done. We have paid $450 for eyebrows that look worst than before. read more

To cut this review to the point let me say Iz is the most amazing threader in Chula Vista now! I've been to countless number of locations and no one does the threading job Iz does. He is patient and his work is exquisite ! He listens to what the customer wants and he explains his options of what would look best. And the outcome is fantastic every time ! I would highly recommend Iz eyebrow threading to everyone. I have got all the ladies I know on board. Way better than waxing (which as a make-up artist) is very bad for the skin. Especially the face which is so sensitive. I have never left un-satisfied with Iz job. Needless to say I was over the moon when I found out he opened he's new locations on his own. He will do amazing there ! It's centrally located in Chula Vista near lots of busy stores ... Went to IZ one night after getting of the trolley on Palomar St. I had passed by it everyday and unfortunately wasn't interested because I saw a guy doing it. Since I've had so many bad experiences with people butchering my eyebrows, especially women, I wasn't going to expect a man to do it any better. But to my surprise, I was totally wrong to judge. IZ is the god of eyebrow threading!!!! I have never gotten my eyebrows threaded in such a delicate and pain-less manner!!! Not only did he shape my eyebrows perfectly, but he also didn't over thread and actually gave me a plan as to how I was to get back my eyebrows that have not been able to grow fully from my past experiences. Brow and lip for $18 is a steal. Left him a hefty tip cause he deserved it!! Will forever go to IZ. read more

Iv been going here for about 6 months now and I can say it has the most friendly staff and has some of the best work I have ever seen. I have naturally thick eyebrows and always struggled to find a place that would give them a nice shape and form, most places will leave them super thin, this is the only place I trust my eyebrows no matter who does them, all their staff knows how to help and give form. Today I went and was attended by Ann and OH MY GOSH! Literal the BEST work I have ever seen on myself and literally the FRIENDLIEST, asked me how my day was going and our plans for this Valentine's Day weekend, I highly recommend her she act took her time and made sure my eyebrows looked the best. When I had waxing on my eyebrows, the shape was never right and my eyebrows always looked weird as the wax would be applied in circular blobs,my eyebrows were oddly shaped.Threading It is quick, not painful at all and there is no redness or after effects. Best of all the shape is exactly how I like as the thread can be directed to achieve the shape I like. I had threading done by IZ around 3 weeks ago, the result was outstanding! I have not had my eyebrows done since, it seems to last much longer than waxing. My skin felt so smooth afterwards. IZ is great too,very talented at all things to do with beauty! This eyebrow threading location is the best eyebrow place I have ever gone to in my life! Izzac the owner and his emplyees there working are extremely nice and comforting not only that they are the best at what they do whether it is eyebrow threading, eyebrow microblading, eyelash extensions, or styling and making hair beautiful!! I've been going to Layla for my threading, and she is absolutely amazing! She is so talented, precise, and takes her time to make sure everything looks perfect. IZ is the best not only in threading your eyebrows but very talented in microblading. I had wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed for awhile now but I was afraid they would not turn out good. Hand down best place to get your eyebrows threaded The employees are amazing and wonderful. It's my second time and my little sisters first and she absolutely loved it too. Her eyebrows are nice and thick just the way they're suppose to be . Other places did it either too thin or made us look like cholas , not pleasant at all. This has been my go-to eyebrow threading place since it was first established here in Chula Vista. Faten is normally the one that does my eyebrows and she is absolutely amazing. Though I have gotten threaded by the other women and even IZ himself and would overall recommend any one of them. They are masters in what they do. The price has unfortunately gone up because of covid but I don't really mind it because it's worth the money anyway. read more

It is a great value for the Service and the price you pay , in addition to the lovely hospitality of the employees. I spent lovely time with nice and clean hair cut.
