Was lucky to come across Yada's eyebrow threading one day a while back. It is a cute little place which could easily be missed tucked inside of a shopping center. There is plenty of parking, so never have had an issue with that. Yada keeps her place clean and decorated nicely. Especially during the holidays. There is a chair up front to work on threading and a separate room in the back where she works on lashes. Yada does everything herself, so she may be busy at times, but she will always try to fit you in when she can. Have never had to wait too long for her. She does a great job threading, trimming, and shaping brows. Her work is quite consistent and always does an excellent job. Never leave feeling like there are gaps or that they are uneven. If you are ever in the area and looking for threading and lash services, make sure you give her a try. Prices are similar to other places we have been to. read more

I was searching for a threading salon on Yelp and this was near my work so I decided to stop by. It's located in a shopping plaza with ample parking. The salon is clean and nicely decorated. When I arrived she was with another client doing her lashes. I waited about 10 minutes. Once she was able to do my brows I let her know I got micro blading done but it's years old and I don't like the shape of it so if she could just shape my current brows and keep them thick. I recently moved to the area, so I have been anxious in regards to finding a new lash tech. I'm originally from Long Beach so I have been blessed with copious amounts of techs in the LA/OC area. With being so used to the competitive pricing where I'm from, I was a little stunned by the prices in the SD area. Classic lashes in LA/OC usually ran ~70 as opposed to the ~90-120 range here! However, I am so lucky to have found Yada! I would say that she's been one of my favorite techs, thus far. Her pricing is comparable to what I'm used to. I have sensitive eyes and a bad lower back but felt no discomfort during my appointment. She was super quick and detailed in doing my lashes. I'm extremely pleased! Well.... I did not think I would ever spend over $200 in one place and have the results and treatment the way I did. I made an appointment for eyelashes extensions for Sunday 7/3/22. When I got there I had mentioned to Yada that I had reacted to another eyelash extension business two weeks prior. Yada told me that it was because of the glue and how they needed to use the sensitive glue on me instead. The previous eyelash lady also advised me to try in two weeks. So I tried again but with Yada and because my regular eyelash lady has COVID. Before trying with the eyelash business I had never reacted to eyelashes extensions so I believed it was just a pink eye. I did share this experience with Yada. Yada still did my extensions and when she was done I asked her to thread my eyebrows. Then she mentioned lamination to me. I thought lamination was making my eyebrows brushed up but idk my eyebrows already looked great. The whole look was kinda extra. I doubt I will ever laminate my eyebrows again. Anyways they were not bad but again my eyebrows are already good normal. The problem is I handed her over $200 cash and the next very next evening my eye started to look swollen and pink again. I really did not believe it could have happened again. I have been getting my eyelashes since 2019 so why am I getting "allergic reaction" now. That's super weird. The previous place was nice and professional enough to remove my eyelashes and return my money NO PROBLEM. Then told me to come back because I was a first time customer and they didn't want my experience to be like that and they stand behind their work. (RESPECT). I should have went back because that would have been the right thing to do but I was not 100% sure. Yada however when I told her, her eyelashes as well gave me a pink eye told me it was not her problem and that she would remove them but not refund me. It's very disappointing because I didn't even get the service I paid for. I feel taken advantage of and wronged. Then I asked if she can give me some type of credit and maybe just thread my eyebrows in store credit but she said No. That she would do my eyelashes again but in 3 months. But only eyelashes and that she would start by patch and only a little hair and proceeded to tell me the swelling would happen again..... So it's disappointing, it's rude and the experience wasn't worth it. I believe she stole money from me. I want her to refund me so I can go somewhere where they care and want me as a customer. The customer service was really bad and sad. I am a professional in this city and also grew up in the area to be experienced enough to say that you need to treat your customers with more respect then they deserve for them to be returning customers. Treating people especially clients this way will speak more volumes about the person you are in general. Excellent service is not how you talk to people but how you treat them. Small business owners should know that there are various legal requirements that they have to abide by and this include customer service. Today Yada made me want to share my experience and shine a light on this behavior to save another one going through the same as me. We need more business that care about us not just want our money and turn their backs. Lesson learned. read more

While I was paying I noticed that she also does lash extensions so I scheduled a visit for lashes. I am so happy with the results!
