Maria Eyebrow Threading - Waiting my turn - Eyebrow Services Near Me - National city , California

Maria continues to be wonderful! The new location in National City offers more parking and more space for customers while waiting.

Amazing and sweet lady, clean environment, and you can tell she cares about her work. My only thing is the wait is always minimum 45 minutes. There were 3 people ahead of me and I waited an hour. A lot of small business do appointment only I wish she would have something like that set up. I feel like a lot of people would agree and she would be booked quickly. read more

Maria is legitimately the only woman I let touch my face. I have very full brows, and she makes sure they stay that way and perfectly shaped. She is such a sweet heart! Making sure you're comfortable is one of her top priorities - she always has water, coffee, candies and snacks to keep clients satiated while waiting. Don't be alarmed if you come in and she has a wait - she moves fast and I promise you it's worth it, that's why everyone is there! Haha Be sure to check her out, and support her at this new location! It's so cute, she still has her country music playing at all times haha love it!! read more

Maria is AMAZING! I have been going to her for a little over a year now and she has completely transformed the shape of my eyebrows. Ever since finding her I haven't been able to trust anyone else to touch my brows. The shop is very clean and nicely decorated and she even has coffee, tea, water, and snacks for her customers while they wait. Seriously she is the BEST! read more

This is a quality establishment! Found this place while looking for a place to get my eyebrows threaded last minute. I called to make an appointment and they informed me they were walk in only. When I walked in, the place smelled incredible. There was some sort of incense burning and it was super relaxing. The lady welcomed me and asked me what I would like done. I informed her I wanted my eyebrows threaded. She was extremely professionally, and super kind. She was apologizing as she threaded and kept saying "I know this hurts, I'm so sorry", which was unnecessary because a little pain is to be expected but still very much appreciated haha she took her time and made sure my eyebrows looked top tier. Extremely satisfied with this location! Highly recommend! read more

I love Maria!!!! She's amazing and I don't mind waiting 30+ min for her! Lol her work is always in point

Unlike Bruno, we NEED to talk about Maria - and how she is in a class of her own! I've been getting my brows threaded for 10 years now (whoa) and she is a game changer. The first time we met a few months ago, she laid out a plan. She told me that yes, my brows were a little sparse, from both genetics and previous threading, however that after a few visits, growing out my brows in between and with her help shaping them, they would be in tiptop shape. We talked about how my brows are cousins, not sisters... and have been more than a little uneven. She reassured me that this would improve. Today was my 4th visit, and I couldn't be happier with my brows, Maria herself and her kindness and friendly demeanor, and how she even uses pencil and powder to help me fill in my brows when she has the time! She easily spends a decent chunk of time with every person who comes to her for threading, because of her attention to detail. Also! She owns the shop and it's just her there, so you can rest easy that the same person is working on your brows every time- not a haphazard experience, but a calming one. There's an adorable outside waiting area, and her shop itself is cozy, adorable, and always playing country music, which is nice to know and quite comforting. Parking: don't make the first turn according to your GPS, take the second turn. There will be a bunch of spots, and you can park anywhere that does not have a roof. Happy threading, with the Queen Maria herself! read more

Came in to get my eyebrows done with Maria for the first time. She's highly recommended by my sister and our sister-in-law who have been her regular clients. And I highly recommend her to everyone else too! I'm very picky when it comes to threading my eyebrows and Maria did such a wonderful job! She's very sweet and knowledgeable, and will let you know what's best for you. I'll definitely keep going back to her, and she's the one I'd trust the most with my eyebrows from now on. read more

She is really good and nice always asking if I was okay thru the process since it was my first time trying threading

Keep 2-3 hours in your hand You have to wait a lot . I planning to do tattoos now but she gives nice service

Maria is the sweetest and the best. Always takes her time and helps with shaping my eyebrows while letting them grow in to have a fuller brow. The wait is worth it. However, she recently moved to another location with better parking availability. Went today, 3/12/25, and found parking right in front of her business. 914 E 8th Street, Ste 207, National City, Ca 91950 read more

Ladies ! This is the place to go if you want the perfect eyebrows. Maria is absolutely amazing, she does EXACLY what you want and request and much more such as giving you advise and educating you about your own eyebrows. She takes the time it needs for a perfect brow, she will never rush you. She definitely goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her and I can say I will never let anyone touch my brows unless it's Maria. read more

This woman is amazing. She was so sweet, informative and professional. I don't trust anyone with brows, ladies, you know! If you're looking for a fierce eyebrow thread with gentle hands. Please give this woman your business. She has her own studio and that speaks volume on her talent and how busy she is because she's THAT good. I 100% recommend this place and only go on here to give my top people reviews because they deserve them. read more

needs a sign in sheet or to keep better track of her clients, these two women definitely cut me talking about i was in the bathroom when neither of them was there. i love the services but she needs to be more vocal and attentive or get a secretary to do that for her. this is the 3rd time this has happened when i walk in to. either switch to appointment base or figure out a better system. ridiculous. read more

I am immunocompromised and it took me 3 years and half to finally get my brows threaded again after the pandemic and my previous brow person moved during that time and to be honest, it wasn't a top priority for me then. Coming from North County to visit my boyfriend in Chula Vista, I saw this eyebrow salon on the way and decided to give it a try. Maria was super sweet and patient, communicating with me at every step of the way. My brows looked absolutely the best ever afterwards and I plan on a return visit for maintenance! read more

Love the way my eyebrows turned out!!! This was the first time that I had my eyebrows threaded and let me just say I'm not sure I'll ever revert back to eyebrow waxing. Maria is very sweet. She took her time and explained the process the entire way through. Several times throughout the appointment she handed me the mirror and explained to me what she was doing, what areas she was going to clean up and the areas of my eyebrows that she was focusing on to make sure that they were even. Now I've always been happy with my eyebrows looking like they at least belong in the same family...after all "eyebrows are sisters, not twins!" But Maria did such a great job they are almost identical. Thank you so much Maria!!! I'll definitely be back!!!! read more

She does amazing work on my eyebrows! The place is very comfortable especially when waiting.

Great experience in threading services! Good customer service! This place had a friendly vibe.

If I could give her 20 stars I would, Maria is the most professional threadist I have come across. I live up north and travel 40 minutes just to get work done by her, not only is she the sweetest and the kindest but she's respectful while she is doing her work. Her work is just simply amazing! I will never go to anyone else again. No one meets her standards! read more

Maria was happy and ready to work. Her passion for her work was very noticeable and made you excited as well. I left with a happy heart and beautifully done brows. The parking can be a little tight but I will be back read more

Maria did such an amazing job with my eyebrows! I've been struggling for years trying to find someone to even them out and make them look fuller and she did just that! As a bonus she is so sweet and caring. Frequently asked me if I was doing ok and reminding me that we could take a break if the pain was not tolerable. Something that made her stand out even more is that she had me watch her technique on how she filled in my eyebrows (super helpful as I sort of just wing it). She allowed me to take a picture of the product she used to fill them in as well. Safe to say I have finally found my go to eyebrow thread spot! read more

$18 for eyebrow threading. No wonder there was no one there. Weird spot in what looks like an apartment complex. Parking is available but confusing with all the apartment complex spots that you can't park in or you'll get towed. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for 8 years consistently and I've tried many places so far. However, no one has ever given my eyebrows the attention that Maria has. No threader has ever taken that long to PRECISELY shape my eyebrows. No threader has ever tweezed my eyebrows to get every single hair. No threader has ever filled in my eyebrows and gave me a plan for how we are going to make my eyebrows fuller and more even. I suggest you give this place a shot. Maria gives exceptional service for a great price. My eyebrows only costed me $14. She is super sweet and made sure to give me tissues and wipe my eyes when they were tearing up. The suite is so beautiful and smells so good. Check my before and after pictures! read more

So thanks to the pandemic my go to eyebrow lady has been closed and I had to start looking for a new person, once places started opening up again I tried out a place that had me come out with decent eyebrows so I decided to grow them out and keep looking. Today I decided to give Maria Eyebrow Threading a try and let me tell you... this is will be my now go to! Maria is so sweet and made me feel so comfortable and took her time with my eyebrows which I am very grateful for! Maria is the sweetest and best at eyebrow threading. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my eyebrows to be again and she gave me just that. She did one eyebrow first and then showed me what she was doing, making sure it's what I wanted. She checks your temperature at the door and offers hand sanitizer, and uses a face mask throughout your service. Her studio is so welcoming, just like her. She had nice music playing and I just love everything in her studio. I will only go to her now. Good prices too! read more
