The service was horrible. We asked for the beer ordered to be delivered three times, it was finally delivered way after the food was being devoured. Then we were charged for two beers instead of one. Will definitely be going back as the food was phenomenal. El Paraiso & Todo Mexico are the top Mexican restaurants in the area.

This review is specifically for the Snohomish El Paraiso bar…read more El Paraiso used to be a welcoming place with great food, good service, and a loyal group of regulars. Unfortunately, one bartender's consistently contentious and dismissive behavior has changed that experience and driven away longtime customers--including me. He is youngish, beard and slight buck teeth. My concerns go beyond personality. On one occasion, money was left by a regular, the kind gentlemen that frequently wears herringbone hats, specifically to cover my food and drinks. I was later told by the bartender that only one drink had been covered and he kept the remaining money as a tip. That experience, combined with his ongoing poor customer service, was enough to make me stop coming. I recently gave the bar another chance because I genuinely love the food, salsa, and the other staff. Unfortunately, I encountered the same bartender and the same unpleasant treatment. Management needs to pay attention to how customers are being treated. It is unfortunate to see a place with great food and otherwise good staff lose longtime patrons because of one employee's behavior. Until that changes, I--and many other former regulars--won't be back.

The shrimp taco and tortillas were all microwaved. My daughter's tacos were good the rice was cold in parts and warm in others which tells me they were also microwaved. It took 30min. Just to get microwaved food. We are going on 40 min just waiting for the check after she took our plates. There's 3 other tables so not busy. Now all the workers are standing talking and no one in the dining room is being tended to. I finally had to get up to pay and no tip was given 33.00 for 4 tacos and 2 aguas fescas. I will not be back. Terrible service, terrible food, never great when you go to a restaurant and they microwave the food.

The servers are always very attentive and polite. The ambience is relaxed and comfortable. I just adore this place. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant in WA. And I was raised in Southern California with really good Mexican food. So often after work, I am too tired to cook, but I can dine out very affordably here and I really appreciate that!

I come here all the time with my daughter after swimming at the Snohomish aquatic center and the service is great. In any case, this place is amazing. I love getting their mission-style burritos - particularly the California Burrito. It has rice (a bit unconventional), fries, your choice of meat (carne asada, pollo.... etc), cilantro, sour cream... maybe other stuff. But the meat and fries are great - and even though the rice makes it a super-carb-bomb, it works. They have three salsa options: red, green, and habanero. I got the habanero on my last trip, and it was pretty darn spicy (and super orange). Excellent!

We arrived at opening and during our visit, there was one single person doing everything: seating, cooking, taking orders, cleaning and cashing people out. Be patient. Enjoy your experience and company. While looking over the menu, we snacked on complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were light and crispy. The salsa was a bit runny/thin and mild for my tastes. My daughter ordered a Michelada for $12. I ordered a Bloody Mary for $8. The Bloody Mary was garnished with a single celery stick while lacking the standard garnishments such as olives, pepperoncini's, beans, asparagus etc. I chose the Mexican Scramble for $17.
