Gummies are stuck together, candybis sticky and stuck together, and my friend was looking for a particular candy and the associates weren't any help. Also, the prices here are outrageous! Location 4 stars: Located on the Universal City Walk is located in Universal City, California. It is part of the Universal Studios entertainment and shopping complex that includes the amusement park, restaurants, shops and a movie theater. You will need to use one of their parking structures. I usually use the "Jurassic" Parking which is fairly close to It's Sugar. You can enter the Universal Studios complex via Lankershim or Cahuenga Boulevards. At the time of my visit the fee was a prepaid $10 a day for standard self parking. They also offer "VIP?" self parking and valet parking but I have not tried them. No street parking. You can also do remote parking at the Metro Universal City/Studio City station lot for less, located across the street with a free shuttle or pedestrian bridge to City Walk. Venue 4 stars: Beautifully appointed with great props fr0om the candy world! Lots of photo ops. Huge selection of any candy you can ever imagine from all over the world! Please see the many pics that I have posted. Service 4 stars: Employees are polite and helpful. Prices 2 stars: Expected given their huge selection and the fact that they are in a touristy area, but $20 for one chocolate bar??? :D The Bottom Line 3 stars: Impressive store to visit, admire the selection, take a few pics, and every once in a while buy something for the nostalgia without breaking the bank :D. We come here after leaving the every single time on Wok because it's humongous from the outside, colorful, the smell SMELLS like Halloween Night, and amazing! What a presentation! The candy oh my lanta you can basically get anything and everything candy related! I myself LOVE sour candy and in the middle of this place they have a sour ropes spot where you get a bag and go to each spot that have different flavored ropes I them. Are the bags getting smaller or is it just me getting more excited piling more up? They also have the same exact selection with CHOCOLATE anything chocolate!!! It's a dream come true they even have candy flavored drinks! If you like sour as much as I do and haven't tried sour soda or warhead fruit soda put it on your bucket list! They also have giant candy merch! They truly have it all and the workers are so sweet! Wow what can I say? This place has all the candy and sweets i used to get from the ice cream man when I was a kid!! The ambience is casual as it's one of the stores on CityWalk at Universal studios! If you park in the garage it's about a five min walk and it's probably not crowded on weekdays before 6p (just a guess)! Service was great, a guy walked around and asked if we wanted samples! We told him no but there was so much to choose from it was hard to pick! It's wall to wall candy with selections from countries all over the world and an insane collection of snacks from the US as well from different eras! I love the selection of candy but I went earlier today 6-29-26. Girl working the register was incredibly rude and snappy. She inturrupted me before I could even get a word in. I Cant even ask a simple question about one of their advertised promotions without feeling unwelcome and like a nuisance. You can purchase individual or like other candy stores fill up in bulk!! A great stop before the movies at the Universal Cinema at AMC (aka Universal Citywalk 19). Sometimes more than often there is a bit of a line inside this sugar shop. Depending on the time of day it can be very short or extra full, but they do their best to make things go smooth. You'll find some friendly It'Sugar staff on the floor, but mainly behind the registers. Funko, Pusheen and load of novelty items available in-store and their online shop including playful citations to hand out to friends, sassy shirts and plush pillows shaped like Go-Gurt. It's sugar will always be a go to location for me and my children whenever we visit city walk. The store is full of classic candy. My son loves this place. I don't eat as much candy like I used to but when I went in there and saw that they had Chico sticks I had to grab a couple. It's difficult to find Chico sticks. That's my all time favorite candy. My son was tempted to get the scorpion lollipop just to save it. He was adamant about not trying the crickets. I wonder do people really purchase those. The customer service was ok. I honestly really like coming here for one thing and one thing only - their pineapple gummy rings!! It's so specific here and I can't find it anywhere else. My husband and I like stopping by to grab a baggie before going into Universals to have as a little snack throughout the visit.
