a soda and soda shop

The ultimate mall classy candy and treat chain store... they carry just about ever classic chocolate, variety or licorice, flavor of hard candy and everything in between. A lot of major brands sold here are slightly marked up. They have a solid craft soda collection if you want something to wash all that sugary goodness with. Located on the first floor toward the the westside of Westfield's Fashion Square Sherman Oaks Lolli and Pops is worth checking out. Some cool seasonal delights year around they rotate around. Nice place to pit stop for a movie night/day at home or before the movies. Always cool gift ideas and options for all occasions that call for sugar... which is most of them.

Looking for delicious candy and good deals? I'd say head over to Lolli and Pops! They have candy from all around the world and they also have a large assortment of candy you can fill in bags and buy by the pound. Their candy is always fresh and tasty. I recently joined their loyalty program and got a bag of free gummy bears I love going to the store or even just walking by, they always have employees at the door offering candy samples and always smiling. I love this a lot, it makes me happy too.

We are all clear on the adverse effects of sugar and sweets. We get it: it's bad for you! But you know what? They are called sweets for a reason and sometimes you just need to indulge and be "bad". A little won't kill you, right? For those days when you want to return to the times of your candy-loving youth or simply want to satisfy your sweet tooth; there is Lolli and Pops. Lolli and Pops can be compartmentalized as a 'candy store'. However, it is so much more. It is an experience! An adventure in all things sugar! A trip down nostalgia lane! Heck, for some, it is heaven! Lolli and Pops combines the essence of a retro candy shop (the employees wear uniforms that look like they are about to bust out a barbershop quartet song while the color scheme is pastel and clean); but ups the ante with a modern and crafty/hipster feel. It is basically the best possible presentation of vintage-inspired. This location of Lolli and Pops is long and rectangular in shape so maneuverability can sometimes be an issue if the store is crowded but otherwise everything is perfectly tidy, neat, and easy-to-find. So, what can your diet-wrecking self find at Lolli and Pops? I think the more suitable question is what CAN'T you find because they have everything! Lolli and Pops offers individual chocolates and candies ranging from retro to international (Kit Kats from Japan and lesser-known choices from other countries), unique selections such as Jack Daniels-infused chocolate, artisan candy for gifts, and of course: lollipops. Adding to this variety are tons of bulk choices: chocolate-covered everything, gummies, sours, licorice, and even savory chex-mix type choices. If you are overwhelmed, associates walk around and you can ask them to sample any of these. Lolli and Pops even offers cute gift boxes and containers for your candy and gifting needs. Just a note though: in case you are looking for jelly beans or various M & M's; those aren't available here. If that isn't your style, Lolli and Pops has an amazing glass case filled with GORGEOUS and GIGANTIC chocolate truffles in unique flavors from liquor to spicy, macarons ($18 for 6), cookies, chocolates, etc. These pieces are beautiful and are best described as art. You almost don't want to eat them because they are so beautiful! Everything is simply delicious at Lolli and Pops. I sampled several bulk candies and chocolates and nothing was short of divine. I also purchased a Whiskey-infused truffle ($2.80) and an Apple Cobbler dessert truffle ($3.60). Both of these were pure heaven! The whiskey was strong (you could get drunk off a few of these) and the apple truffle tasted like I just ate a slice of apple pie! I can not put into words how great everything is here! My only complaint? High prices! One definitely pays for the quality and ambiance here so this isn't your neighborhood penny candy shop. Unfortunately, Lolli and Pops is more of an occasional treat then a regular stop but definitely great for gifting (I came here celebrating my birthday and it felt quite appropriate). Perhaps that is better for your waistline, anyway. Long story short: Lolli and Pops is a wonderful experience that will have you feeling like a kid in a candy store (I had to do it!) and will result in some extra miles on the treadmill but will be well worth it! So go ahead: indulge in that bad sugar!

This is such a fun store! How have I been to this mall like 100 times and never gone in??!! Well I finally got to experience this wonderful candyland. More than anything it was so nostalgic. I got to see candies that I hadn't seen since I was a kid! And that was a long time ago lol!! Prices are on the higher side. But they have a little bit of everything. They even have a display case with specialty chocolates in the front and with the nicest and sweetest staff ever. If you want a chocolate fix or sweet tooth fix this is definitely the place. You can even get little pales of candy and pay I think it was $99 for a forever refill! That's hell of a deal. Even though I would probably lose all my teeth with a deal like that! At about $11 a pound that's a great deal. They had my favorite candies there too and I got my little sweet tooth fix.

It's been a long time since I've been inside a candy store but this place is pretty impressive. I mean like something out of a movie. It's very clean and well stocked. They have candy that I haven't seen in years!!! Some I've never even seen before. Not only do they have your typical boxed candy, they have the weigh your own kind. They have all kinds of different candy from around the world. Inside of the glass case they have a wide variety of chocolates and gummies. They have unique shaped as well as jus some funky looking candies. But over all you should find something that suits all. From old to young. Nobody will be left out.

This place is a candy shop for both kids and adults. Both times I went, their staff provided exceptional service and were super friendly/helpful. They have a wide variety of treats from chocolates to gummies to Asian snacks and more! They even have vegan, gelatin free, and organic options to choose from. My favorite so far are their giant Rice Krispies and their vegan floral & fruity gummies.

This store goes way, way back.

What?! This place is awesome. When I was three my sister was a candy striper which meant she worked at a hospital, but my three-year-old mind envisioned a place just like this. Of course, my three-year-old mind also told people she was a 'candy stripper', but I digress, point is, I found my three-year-old haven. And they dress exactly like I thought they would: like they sold candy to Bud and Cathy from Father Knows Best. The kids in here were running circles around the place. Literally. I'm throwing a shower so it was a great place to raid a few bins and fill candy jars. It was $13 a pound, so not a great place to load up on dense chocolates. I first learned of this place when my students started bringing me stuff from here. The observant ones always know your weakness.

A must visit when your at the mail. Or if your having much, this makes a great dessert. Lol. The people that work here are really nice. One thing I noticed about this place compared to other candy stores is everything always tastes so good like it's fresh and good quality! And it's always very clean. I like how there's a section for sweets, a section for chocolate and a small section for Mexican candies too. The old vintage 1940s American theme looks cool I I dig it

The service was good and everything looked clean but all the chocolate I got was stale. I've only had this problem at this location.

Great selection of your favorite candy - ask for Adam because he's the most helpful! Gummy bears with individual flavors...it's about time.

Samples? Yes, please! Thank you to the lady in front of the store handing out their #1 selling item…read more- the FrischSchoggi Hazlenut Milk (milk chocolate and hazelnut)! We wouldn't have even stopped by if the employee didn't ask if we wanted to try a sample. Thank you also for the team here being so helpful suggesting other flavors and offering additional samples. Though the FrischSchoggi Strawberry-Curd White and the one with dates (didn't get the name of this one) were suggested and good, we loved the richness of the chocolate and simplicity of the added hazelnuts of the Hazlenut Milk. We loved it so much, we ordered a 1/4 pound to enjoy while walking the mall and finished it before we finished shopping. This will be another shop we'll be adding to our rotations for a delicious treat! Can't wait to go back to try and find another favorite!

I picked up the dark chocolate almond bark and it was amazing. The dark chocolate has a deep, rich flavor that isn't overly sweet, and the almonds add just the right amount of crunch and balance. Every bite was so satisfying I found myself going back for another piece without even thinking about it. I also tried an assortment of their other chocolates and each one was thoughtfully made with nuanced flavors and impeccable quality. Whether it was silky ganache centers or beautifully crafted truffles, you can tell Laderach takes pride in every piece. If you appreciate artisan chocolate that delivers on craftsmanship and flavor, Laderach is absolutely worth a stop. You walk in for one thing and walk out wanting a whole box.

We experienced Sophisticated Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory vibes...Thanks to Andy…read more Going to a candy store is supposed to be delectable, delightful, delicious and dandy which Andy provided. We had the most memorable genuine experience we ever had at a See's candy. We learned about the different flavors and textures about the chocolates. Which allow us to be satisfied with our decisions. The samples also help with our satisfactory choosing.

Hello See's Candies Team,…read more I wanted to also document another disappointing experience I recently had with the Sherman Oaks location regarding a DoorDash order. I was trying to order the California Milk Brittle (milk chocolate version), but I could not find the option on DoorDash. I called the store politely asking whether they could simply substitute or replace the item with the half-pound bag. The employee initially told me they could probably do it but needed manager approval. Then she said the manager was unavailable for 30 minutes to an hour because she was in a meeting. Right after that, she changed the story and suddenly said the manager would not be available until tomorrow. I explained that I was only asking if they could do a simple courtesy replacement or substitution, but the tone throughout the call felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude. As someone who has been a loyal customer and specifically loves the California Milk Brittle, these repeated negative interactions with the Sherman Oaks location have been very disappointing.
