I love that they give out samples at times! Definitely a great way to get people in the door. I am a huge fan of marzipan, so the fruit-shaped marzipan treats that they offer for roughly $3-$5 is my favorite thing to buy here. There's some shaped as a pear, banana, strawberry... I wish they had much more of a selection, though. I've also had their cotton candy, chocolate, truffles, sweet candy, sour candy, soda, and sugar gem sticks. They have a lot to choose from and it is a literal sweets shop of your dreams. If prices were more reasonable, I'd get a few more things than I do. I'm addicted to the pineapple gummy bears! I'm not a fan of candy shops, they aren't really my thing but I got hooked on a door sample of this flavor months back and can not quit these things! They often sell out and I sink into a slight depression but I'm sure my health is better when I can't get my hands on them but when I do it's pure bliss and a good size scoop roughly $6-7 last me one evening. Maybe they sprinkle crack in them... who knows..??? I've tried to get my sister to try them but like many gummy bears Lolli and Pops aren't vegan, so there's that but since I'm not vegan it's all good. This location of Lolli and Pops is long and rectangular in shape so maneuverability can sometimes be an issue if the store is crowded but otherwise everything is perfectly tidy, neat, and easy-to-find. So, what can your diet-wrecking self find at Lolli and Pops? I think the more suitable question is what CAN'T you find because they have everything! Lolli and Pops offers individual chocolates and candies ranging from retro to international (Kit Kats from Japan and lesser-known choices from other countries), unique selections such as Jack Daniels-infused chocolate, artisan candy for gifts, and of course: lollipops. Adding to this variety are tons of bulk choices: chocolate-covered everything, gummies, sours, licorice, and even savory chex-mix type choices. You almost don't want to eat them because they are so beautiful! Everything is simply delicious at Lolli and Pops. I sampled several bulk candies and chocolates and nothing was short of divine. I also purchased a Whiskey-infused truffle ($2.80) and an Apple Cobbler dessert truffle ($3.60). Both of these were pure heaven! The whiskey was strong (you could get drunk off a few of these) and the apple truffle tasted like I just ate a slice of apple pie! I can not put into words how great everything is here! My only complaint? High prices! One definitely pays for the quality and ambiance here so this isn't your neighborhood penny candy shop. Unfortunately, Lolli and Pops is more of an occasional treat then a regular stop but definitely great for gifting (I came here celebrating my birthday and it felt quite appropriate). Perhaps that is better for your waistline, anyway. Long story short: Lolli and Pops is a wonderful experience that will have you feeling like a kid in a candy store (I had to do it!) and will result in some extra miles on the treadmill but will be well worth it! This is such a fun store! How have I been to this mall like 100 times and never gone in??!! Well I finally got to experience this wonderful candyland. More than anything it was so nostalgic. I got to see candies that I hadn't seen since I was a kid! And that was a long time ago lol!! Prices are on the higher side. But they have a little bit of everything. They even have a display case with specialty chocolates in the front and with the nicest and sweetest staff ever. If you want a chocolate fix or sweet tooth fix this is definitely the place. You can even get little pales of candy and pay I think it was $99 for a forever refill! That's hell of a deal. Even though I would probably lose all my teeth with a deal like that! At about $11 a pound that's a great deal. They had my favorite candies there too and I got my little sweet tooth fix. read more

Sugar coma anyone?!?!?! So my sister came here a few months ago and got me a cute little container with candy for my birthday and it came with a free refill. So i ate all the candy and then came back foe the refill. The container had this little tag and once i refilled the cashier cut off the tag to show that i redeemed my free refill. Aside from the candy you can buy the pound, they also sell macaroons and other chcolate desserts. What?! This place is awesome. When I was three my sister was a candy striper which meant she worked at a hospital, but my three-year-old mind envisioned a place just like this. Of course, my three-year-old mind also told people she was a 'candy stripper', but I digress, point is, I found my three-year-old haven. And they dress exactly like I thought they would: like they sold candy to Bud and Cathy from Father Knows Best. The kids in here were running circles around the place. Literally. I'm throwing a shower so it was a great place to raid a few bins and fill candy jars. It was $13 a pound, so not a great place to load up on dense chocolates. Crazy overpriced. I like candy. A LOT. And this store is delightful fun for any sugar addict, but their price point is ridiculously inflated. They charge almost twice as much for high-end candy as other retailers, including Whole Foods & high-end chocolatiers! The prices are also not clearly marked for the goodies in the display case, which led to quite a shock for me on check-out. I like candy, but I don't like feeling ripped off. Amazing store with an insane selection of just about every confection. I'm blown away by the beauty and flavor combos of their truffles, truly exceptional and would make an excellent gift. Normally I wouldn't be writing reviews about chocolate, but I was swept off my feet by the packaging and all around amazing customer service. I seriously have to commend Ryan for going above and beyond, having patience while the store was super busy with screaming kids and just making the experience pleasant. Customer service lately has been hit or miss with most places during the pandemic (for obvious reasons, understandable), so it's nice to see a smiling face even if it's through a mask. While at the mall I walked past this store, after dinner, with a sweet tooth craving. I usually stick with See's Chocolates till I tried a few of these delicacies. This place is like See's on steroids X 10, sinfully delicious. I tried a couple different chocolates similar to a truffle, one with chocolate fudge and one with a peanut butter filling. My first bite into one of these had so much flavor and chocolate decadence, plus they are huge, easily 3 to 4 bites each. Next visit I plan to try their cheesecake filled truffle desserts, good stuff! read more

When I first encountered Lolli and Pop I thought I was in heaven with a great selection of top named, not located before, sugarless sweets. Again, disppointed that after only weeks of finding them, the name brands were gone and the range of sugarless options were down to one unknown candy company and very limited. I was a bit disappointed, but they still had gummy bears that are fresh and have a nice flavor to them without any after taste. I was in the store just weeks ago and was refreshing the empty bowl at home when at checkout the young lady, (new I think), ask me for the holidays since I purchased over $30 of items I was entitled to a free box. Ok. I was a bit confused. A box? Yes a box. What's in the box? Nothing, just a box. Ok. I took the box thinking, well it's a great catch all if nothing else. I checked out and left. Once at home, I looked at the receipt and noticed tax. In California there is no tax on candy. I looked again and noticed a charge of $7 for the box and then it was deducted, but they still charge tax for the box! Ok, so it's not free! The charge was minimal, but I thought that was crapy, a bit of a switch/bait. I called the store and the young woman played it stupid. I then emailed the company and now going on 3 weeks I have still gotten no response or apology of any kind. It's not the money, it's the point of being upfront, honest and caring to your customers. To a company that doesn't care, doesn't respond to an email, or even care to ask a manager to call and smooth it over when that customer has been faithful and loyal to your business, as it shows in my points, well is not worth my buisness. Lolli and Pop, what a shame you chose to ignore a client. Now, what a shame I will ignore your business. Back to Amazon, who has a wide selection of name branded sugarless candy and at a LOWER price point. read more
