It's a charming chocolate boutique with a wide variety of mini chocolates, each with unique and interesting fillings. The store associate gives you a transparent plastic box where you can mix and match all the different chocolates you want. You pay by weight. Each chocolate is labeled and clearly described, so you know exactly what's inside. If you don't want to do the selecting yourself, there are ready-made gift bags available for purchase. I have had chocolates from this shop many times but I never purchased any myself until yesterday. I decided to buy chocolates for my niece since she gave birth to a baby girl and this place came to my mind immediately. Good thing they were open on a Monday cause some places are closed on Mondays. I walked in and was greeted right away, I walked around and chose the chocolates I wanted which was not easy by the way cause there were so mane beautiful shapes and colors. The lady at the counter told me it's sold per pound which is $28. Fresh and delicious chocolates that look amazing as well. It's really a great spot to buy chocolates from. As you can see I chose pinks, whites, silver and green that went perfectly with my flower colors. She offered me samples (I took just one,) and gave me some honest feedback/suggestions when I told her my likes. Been here a few times, it can be "dangerous"! So many different pralines, chocolates and treats. This place has traditional fillings and lots of middle eastern inspired flavors. They just got the "Dubai" style chocolate in little squares filled with the pistachio butter and filo strands. Its excellent. If you just want a little just buy a few pieces. I am having guests this evening for dinner from out of the country. One of the guests is was very important to me as a multi-decade friend and I found out is a lover of chocolate. So I did a Google search for great chocolatiers in the San Fernando Valley and came up with the Chocolate Counter. This is my first experience there and all I can tell you was it was a six star not just five star experience. A feeling of welcome from the minute I walked in the door, my ignorance about chocolate as I don't eat chocolate being a type 2 diabetic, was quickly relieved by the young lady who helped me whose name I believe was TAEV if that's not right, I apologize. She pointed out 3 to 4 different selections, which might be appropriate as a perfect gift and I settled with one that I think is going to be fantastic for all parties at the dinner. She even dressed it with a classy ribbon and put it in an elegant bag. The presentation alone will be special. We went down to LA for the weekend and came across this shop completely by accident. The outside of the location is very unassuming. It isn't until you go inside that you realize what they have to offer. There is a nice European-style selection of flavors available in both milk and dark chocolate. Pricing is determined by weight. I had such a wonderful visit to this store today! I had been wanting to visit for a while and was simply wowed by the selection once I entered. To my delight, I was greeted the moment I entered by staff who was eager to help make your visit comfortable. Each bin has descriptions of each type of chocolate and some are even marked as favorites by the staff. You pick up a basket at the entrance and pick and choose to your heart's delight! They charge by the pound which will be weighed at the register upon checkout. One area is dedicated to dark chocolate, the rest to milk chocolate. There is also a rack with boxed chocolates -- perfect for gift giving. At checkout, the staff was so polite and kind! They box up your goodies and even wrap it up with a bow. The presentation is just wonderful. They even sent me off with free croquant. Now the taste test! I indulged in a few pieces this evening and wow! Fantastic quality and delightful varieties. I'll certainly come back and I'm so excited to have this business in our community. I'll be sure to recommend it to anyone and everyone who has a sweet tooth! A Willy Wonka approved gourmet chocolate hidden gem! This petite chocolate shop is almost invisible from the outside. Once inside, you are surrounded by hand wrapped truffles, dark and milk chocolate peanut butter cups, hazelnut and pistachio cream bon bons, and other goodies like baklava and cotton candies. It's very quiet and calm, no music plays inside. They had Christmas and santa clause themed candies inside as its currently winter season. The kind lady behind the counter encouraged us to try anything we wanted and gave us free water bottles. She gave us so many samples that it was a whirlwind of flavors. My favorite was the chocolate covered baklava. All the chocolates were from Belgium and France, it's mostly all European handmade chocolates. Unlike American candies, these candies are very light in sweetness. Mostly sweetened with honey and natural ingredients. They mostly sell to weddings, baby showers, and large events. It was a pleasant surprise to go inside and get to try so many unique flavors! It's definitely more on the pricey side. About $20 and up for about a pound of chocolates. I honestly thought this was a dispensary but much to my surprise it's an actual chocolate store that sells THE most delicious individually wrapped chocolates. The sales person couldn't have been nicer. She walked us through the layout of the tiny shop and gave us a piece to sample. They have some really unique flavors. They're kind of like truffles but we also bought some that were like chocolate pieces. We grabbed about 10 pieces total (came out to about $9) and we ran through them at home. I can't wait to go back and restock. My only note would be that the names of the candy aren't written on the pieces so you probably won't know what you're eating once you take them home, but honestly doesn't matter. Yet the last time I ordered I ended up paying 44$ for this (barely 7 pieces) saying they ran out of my favorites so they only charged me 44$!!!! This for 44$????
