Parking at the Farmer's Market is horrendous to the degree that their policy, validation and rates they charge customers to shop there is very counterintuitive to supporting their retailers and restaurants to generate foot traffic and business. I wonder if the food court / shopping center's clients (those who run a business here) know of this mismanagement that affects their business? The food court / shopping center's parking system is disingenuous to supporting retailers and customers. You park, you eat, you shop and buy, hang out for maybe 2-3 hours, spend money and even with a merchant parking validation you pay $17 to park and support the center's businesses. The retailers who I'm sure pay a hefty rent should be in an uproar to this issue which if resolved could mean a surge in customers and income. Let the public support the merchants and make parking FREE for patrons who make purchases.

They don't have a lot of space, so the grocery areas are packed. However, fruits and vegetables are always clean and nicely placed on shelves. I love their hot deli department. Their rotisserie chicken pieces and barbecue ribs are a great deals when you want a quick meal. But most of all, I think it's to people who work here that make the store great! The staff here is often friendly and helpful. Some of them, though not very conversant in English, always try to greet me politely and smile while they're working hard to put things in order. I also love their underground parking, very spacious with a lot of standard size, instead of compact, slots.

I must have looked like a crazy man at checkout to double check the digital coupons were clipped on the app! I wasn't expecting to find mark downs at the deli! I picked up a premium Cobb salad and a side of Trail Slaw. There was also baked chicken too but I already had my hands full walking back to the office. The pre-lunch crowd was decent. I saw a few people in the aisles and produce section. Jeez, I didn't think tortillas and the refried beans were so popular! I grabbed the BOGO offer on the carb smart tortillas by La Banderita, 2 for $6 large size, 6ct. I also decided to try La Preferida, the internet's best tasting refried beans (must try). They were on sale so I grabbed two cans but also got the Kroger Spicy refried beans too to try. I tried it last night, pretty good flavor and texture. Update: 6 pm, Tuesday... I opened the La Preferida and tried it. I'm unsure about it being the best. Perhaps, it's the authentic style? It seemed to be looser in texture in the can. Oh, and the low carb tortillas (meh... Try a different brand).
