We decided to try It's Tea after dinner as it's right next door to Gaya Korean Restaurant. They're a BBT chain (with over 60 locations) that originated in Changshu, China.
We dropped in on a Friday evening (around 9:45pm) and were the only ones inside.
The menu consists of fresh milk, milk tea, cheese fruit tea, fresh fruit tea, cold brew and two desserts (bubble waffle and taiyaki). Drink prices range from $6.00 to $7.80.
- Matcha bubble waffle ($5.50) - decent but several parts of the waffle were overdone.
- Fruit tea ($7.00) - 50% sugar, easy ice and added taro balls ($1.25). Balls were decent but not too taro-y. Tea flavour was okay. Think YiFang's fruit tea version is better.
- Taro bobo ($7.30) - drink comes with taro balls but J also added pearls ($0.75). Drink was okay but it took him a long time to finish it.
Nothing particularly memorable about It Tea. read more
