I went here on June 21st Sunday for my BBT fix. I had Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) and my drink came out fast. The price is expensive for the small size. Menu is limited. They're known to make fresh pearls on a wok for every locations. Drinks and pearls were perfectly done. Drink was good, but pearls were okay. Some pearls were literally stuck together and it wasn't too squishy enough. My experience was okay overall.

I usually order milk teas when I go to bubble tea shops but I already tried it on my previous visit so I wanted to try something new. I got the Brown Sugar pearl milk because it's Xing Fu Tang's signature drink. It had milk and their signature stir-fried pearls. I got the drink without any additional sugar because I knew it would already be sweet because of the brown sugar pearls. After I took my first sip, I knew I made the right call because it was too sweet for my liking. While it was on the sweeter side, it wasn't undrinkable. If I had to describe it it tasted like drinking liquid caramel. The pearls from Xing Fu Tang were super soft and chewy. I find that when shops make handmade pearls you can tell because they have a nicer texture to them and don't have a hard core on the inside. I've made boba before but they were not as good as these.

One of the original bubble tea chains that served brown sugar milk boba, it is certainly an old favourite. I haven't tried much else in their menu but I do have to say I'm a big fan of their brown sugar milk. I recently found out that they now have sesame boba which I will definitely have to try the next time I am here!

I know that bubble tea shops are quite popular in Vancouver these days but there's 3 different boba places located at the corner of Gilley and Kingsway in Burnaby. The main reason I was here was because I saw the Xing Fu Tang that had recently opened up. This Taiwanese boba shop is known for their Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milk ($6.50 cold) and I've got to say that I was actually pretty impressed. The boba pearls are quite good and are soft but with an adequate amount of chewiness. The brown sugar milk isn't as overtly sweet as I was expecting. Think I'll have to come back here to try out some of their other drinks.

Came with 2 friends the afternoon of a stat holiday. My first time at a XFT -- I had heard good things, so expectations were relatively high. Street parking was surprisingly easy -- got a 2h spot right in front of the store. The place wasn't too busy, just 2 parties when we got there, so there were a couple of tables left for us to pick from. The menu is a bit limited, in my opinion -- not like some of the chains that have "top 10" plus multiples "lines" of drink types. I thought the mango slush with pink pearls & bunny jelly would be interesting, but it has the downside of being icy (read: hardened pearls). I did try my friend's brown sugar milk and didn't think it was extraordinary. Service was good -- the lady came out from behind the counter to take Instax photos for us and didn't make it seem like a big deal. Probably my biggest critique is the small drink size for the ~$6.5 prices. Overall, on the overrated side.

Really good bubble tea at comparable prices to other places. The space is really clean and bright, and has a cool mix of modern and traditional decor. Staff aren't friendly but aren't rude either. Seating is pretty limited and they're basically just low riding stools with some table space. Cool thing is that you get to see the bubbles being made in this huge iron pot which is fun. Drinks came quite quickly and the space is pretty open to hangout if you wanted to. Definitely check out their classic brown sugar bubble tea - instagram worthy indeed!

I just adore their bunny jelly mango smoothie. The bunny shaped decoration on top of the mango smoothie is not only cute but also actually delicious. Their service has been constantly great.

The amount of drink leftover when 75% of the ice is gone.

I looooved the storefront itself; it appears that they make their own toppings and have local suppliers for their tea products. You're able to purchase these supplies, as well as artsy pieces made by local small businesses. There was tons of cute Pokemon merchandise! Friendly staff, a good recommendation for matcha and cute little souvenirs. Need to try their milk tea products next time!

I love the crocheted items. They are so cute. We ordered a Baiko Matcha and a Pink Lychee. Both drinks were enjoyable but I honestly didn't taste much Lychee in my drink. I tasted mostly Strawberry in it. I think I would probably choose some kind of tea beverage next time. After all, with a name like Teaspoons & Co., I guess they would excel in making tea rather than a fruity drink like Pin Lychee. I love the selection of goods on their shelves. Passionfruit Syrup and Wintermelon Syrup both caught my eye. The Wintermelon Syrup I found to be especially unique. I have definitely never come across Wintermelong Syrup in a store before. I was very tempted to buy one of them but in the end, ended up restraining myself. Might buy one next time though.
