I cannot recommend this place enough for laptop repairs. When I initially requested a quote through Yelp to other businesses, they were all extremely expensive and barely responsive. Binh was the fastest to respond and gave me the most affordable quote for my laptop's battery replacement. For the past year I was experiencing a really weak laptop battery that would only hold a charge for an hour at most (on a good day). I was constantly keeping my laptop plugged into the power outlet for it to work. Although it was a temporary solution, I knew that when I started school again that outlets wouldn't always be available. I did a battery health report on my laptop and noticed that my battery was on actual life support LOL. After the battery replacement the charge on my laptop holds nicely and lasts a lot longer without needing to be plugged into the wall 24/7. Started using it recently and accidentally closed the screen (not all the way) on my ring. Even though the ring wasn't sharp it cracked my screen and the computer wouldn't turn on. Binh took a look at my HP Envy laptop as it wouldn't turn on. I'm familiar with opening laptops and doing my own repairs up to a point and had replaced the fan. I called Binh and got an answer to drop off the laptop right away. When I reached his location in Milpitas, I met his cats outside, texted him and he came out. I explained what happened and what I saw. Binh assured me he could got to work on my laptop the same day and would call me w the diagnosis. About half an hour later, he called me and told me it was the motherboard that was fried. Probably because I'd waited so long to replace the fan. I went back to pick up my laptop. It was worthwhile having Binh look and diagnose the laptop versus others I'd called who were only open M-F 9/11 am - 5 pm! It being a Friday most certainly added pressure for a faster response time. Bin was great! He was able to fix the problem quickly and on time he promised. My HP laptop had the typical problem of noisy fan, warning note that said potential overheating that may damage the computer, etc., etc. It still turned on after several prompts so fan was ok, but just dusty. He cleaned the computer, reapplied thermal paste as well. My laptop also had some issues with slow start, and he replaced the hard disk with SSD which improved the boot up time significantly. He also gave me several suggestions on how to maintain my laptop in the future.
