While on the expensive side, it is great quality. I first started doing tape in's with her as that is what I had been previously doing. We talked a few times about doing sew in wefts but she never pressured me. I eventually tried it and loved it. It's definitely less maintenance and less mess! I've not had to color my hair as the extensions luckily match but if I were to color or highlight my hair, I would definitely trust Maayan. She's also particular and does great work. Specifically, she neglected to inform me of any products she used as she used them nor did she even say or explain what she was doing. I was offered no suggestions for my skin after or during (though she did inquire about my products and regimen), and she didn't even offer me a mirror to view her work after she finished. Makes sense, because my face looked and felt terrible after the facial. No tips for aftercare or what to expect following the service (redness, swelling, etc). To her credit, my face looked a little better about 6 hours after the facial, but my skin feels tight 24 hours later. I'm disappointed because I previously used Geneen for waxing on a regular basis, but after today, I will not be returning! PS: there was a previous situation where I ended up tipping her twice (once on zelle and on StyleSeat because I wasn't sure if SS went through). Not only is Soheila very experienced and knowledgeable, but her touch truly is gentle. Let's face it, nothing involving needles is painless but Soheila makes it manageable. When the treatment was ineffective, my daughter was made to feel as though it was her fault, which is completely unacceptable--especially when working with a minor. There was no clear plan of care, no accountability for poor results, and the equipment used does not appear to be state-of-the-art. Rather than adjusting the approach, responsibility was shifted to the client. I would walk around with a full beard before I ever give this woman another penny of my money.

Nonetheless, I called and she was very nice about it and instructed me to go to her new location. Both her old location and new location are in Rockville. Her new location isn't in the best spot because it is hard to find parking - I kept seeing signs for "reserved" or "permit only". I ended up parking two blocks away and then walking over. Unfortunately, i missed my appointment timeslot completely because she had a client right after me, but she was so nice about situation and fit me in as soon as she found free time to. Nita is very friendly, kind, and personable. She is so sweet. She did such an amazing and efficient job. She was informative, quick, and does her best to make you feel comfortable. The waiting room is clean and cozy and there are snacks left out. I have gotten waxed at other great places before and Nita is by far my favorite thus far. After the sugaring, she asked if she could do touch ups and pluck leftover hairs with tweezers; I truly appreciate her attention to detail and how thoughtful she was.
