Visiting family in Ithaca and our one must do's on this trip was to eat Ny style deli. Upon entering you have a deli feel with an urban vibe, could it be the wine bar! This bakery/restaurant has a counter where you order your food and bakery items. There is a separate counter for the adorable wine bar and other deli items. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Renwick Rueben, it was wrapped in foil and I loved that touch. Let us not forget that the name of this restaurant has bakery in its name. I went crazy and ordered cannoli's, cookies and an eclair. The lady next to me ordered an eclair, because it was "National Eclair Day". This eclair was fantastic. I live in Florida where I have never had a good one, the inside part is always stale, but this eclair was fresh and tasted incredible. I will say this is hands down the best item here. Cannot wait to visit next summer!

Super fresh bagels, tons of variety, epic service and very efficient. the ambiance is totally ithaca and trendy farmers vibe. Love the bronx bagel and california bagel. rosemary salt and plain was very good with of course scallion cream cheese. top tier breakfast eats definitely a must go to! 10/10 A++

If you're familiar with CTB, Ithaca Bakery is that. Same vibe, same setup, nearly identical in every way. I tried the Steak & Egg sandwich and the Cat Woman. The Cat Woman, in particular, was absolutely delicious. Would definitely come back just for that.

Great sandwiches and smoothies and good prices! Huge selection of options available and an amazing looking baked goods display! They have lots of outdoor and indoor seating. They are a sister company with college town bagels so you'll likely see some familiar food items which is great for me. They have a surprising amount of parking and even ev charging spots! We'd definitely come back!

I guess a trip to Ithaca isn't complete without stopping at Ithaca Bakery. My husband is down here quite a bit for work and said it's one of his favorite places. He usually grab lunch here or sweet treats for us. There's two sides one for sandwiches and the other side for pastries, coffee/drinks. We grab a few things to bring over to a family member house(they loved the vegan bars we bought for them). My oldest loved the donut shaped cake(chocolate cake with I think chocolate ganache in the middle?). Everything else was delicious, I loved the maple iced latte. The service was quick and friendly. There's good amount of seating indoors and outdoors. We'll definitely stop by again whenever we're in town.

My review remains the same. This update is only to add pictures of the take out menu.

Delicious food and even better desserts. A lot of grab and go foods that make it quick to get in and out.

Best vegan soup I've ever tasted!

Well, the bagels are good; most of their breads are on point; and their breakfast sandwiches are super. But their soups: stellar! Nice enough ambience, and efficient and friendly staff.

Awesome place with even better bagels! I go here all the time and like to mix it up, so I've tried a lot of options, and they are all top notch. The bagels are soft on the inside, but have a nice crisp on the outside. Their menu options all tend to be a nice combination of flavors. I personally love the steak & eggs, really good roast beef! The ordering system is a cool experience. Service and wait time is honestly depending on what you order. I had instances where I order a cc bagel, and had my order within 2 minutes, and other times where I get steak and eggs, which takes closer to 5-7 minutes. All reasonable wait times, and I never seemed to mind. Now about the decor, it's old school with a modern-ish feel! I love the style and layout of it.

Almond croissant, peanut butter coffee smoothie, turkey sausage+egg+cheese panini.

Amazing! Lots of nice local goods you can look at (and purchase) while you wait for your food. Grab a cream cheese brownie!

Sourdough was one of the best bread I've ever had in my life. Coffee was not so great. Menu is quite ample.

Is there indoor seating at either location? Outdoor seating?

Both locations have ample indoor seating. Meadow Street has lots of outdoor seating. Triphammer has a covered courtyard with tables and chairs.

Especially late nights when friends and I happen to be on campus. The local skunks who amble up to the picnic benches looking for stray fries even have their charm. I may name them. I miss having friends living in the house directly in front of the truck, so I could just walk up to their porch. I recommend the double Bo Burger with a hash brown on top. Even with all the fixins, it's easily cheaper and better-tasting than the corporate fast food joints! Fantastic fries here: Julio fries with sauce on the side. Large caramel and malt shake. All this food is easily under $20, and at generous portions. The fries are fresh and ambrosia of the gods!! Best of all? The customer service is always great and friendly. Highly recommend you eat here at least once if you're on campus, and it's super accessible by car/foot/bike. Yes, they take card-- just at a $5 minimum. I've had the cajun fries, pickle fries, salt & vinegar fries, and bbq fries. All are dry-seasoned, but I keep coming back to those Julio fries-- that sauce!

DiBella's Subs - Italian Assorted sub on everything bread

A couple of months ago I ordered online for a pick up. When I arrived at the predicted time the…read moresubs were not ready so I sat and waited. Then I waited some more. Then I walked up to the counter and asked the person making the subs how long it would take. I was informed one sub was made, but the second still needed to be completed and would be ready shortly. So I sat back down and waited some more. After another 15min another employee ringing up a walk-in customer realized I was waiting a looong time since I had been sitting there for almost 40min total. That person asked me what I ordered and immediately found it waiting behind the counter! It was never moved to the pickup shelf and was completely ignored. Once I got home I submitted feedback to DiBella's via their website. I was sent a coupon code for my next visit. I waited a week then decided to use the coupon to order on my phone app. Well, the coupon code would not work no matter what I tried. I used my laptop's browser to order with the same result, "coupon code not found." I then submitted feedback again to DiBella's on their website and to this day I have not heard anything back from them. I've decided to give up on them completely and tried to delete my account via the phone app and received the error message, "Route not found." This is the most amateur operation I've ever seen. I just want to say the employees of the Ithaca location are VERY nice and have been the best part of my experience with DiBella's. It just seems like once something goes wrong, the efforts to make things right just make it worse.

It was getting late, when I came across DiBella's and decided to go in for a sub. With few sub…read moreshops in Ithaca and vastly different qualities, I decided to try DiBella's to avoid the only other open shops like Subway. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience! Coming in 20 minutes to closing (sorry about that again!), I was still met with friendly staff who helped me navigate the menu. I ordered two "$9.99 5" mini meals" which were actually great! I wanted to eat something light but filling for dinner, and this meal deal was perfect! The portion was just right. Additionally, the subs are super affordable and customizable without stupid upcharges. I ordered a veggie sub which was really delicious! I also have heard that their meat options are tasty! Do I think it lives up to their self-proclaimed slogan of "being the best sub sandwich you've ever had?" Not exactly. But I can say that the subs are pretty good and maybe the best SERVICE I've ever had at a sub shop, especially in Ithaca. This place is better than Subway, Jimmy John's, Firehouse Subs, and Panera. I genuinely enjoyed my meal and I'm sure the non-veg options are super delicious. Additionally, the restaurant was pretty clean and has good seating for lunch. Although I've never been here during busy times, the subs were made pretty quick! My only complaint is that the packaged pickle you can buy as a side order is very average. Not a good classic NY sour pickle, so I would avoid it and buy chips instead. Overall really happy with my food, and the friendliness I experienced from the team at DiBella's really drives me to recommend this place even more. They're also super attentive with food allergies and openly tell which ingredients may not align with your dietary restrictions. Shoutout to 2nd manager Dariyen (? Sorry if spelling is incorrect) for providing quality customer service and running closing shift with grace. I look forward to returning!
