And after a failed attempt at struggling with W*rdpress, I turned to my fellow peers in the #ODsonFinance group for a reputable company to pull me out of my misery. In came Roya and Carly, a designer who just understood me without anything but a brand design and a lack of "what I want" from my end. With quite literally the least amount of notes on my end, she delivered the most beautiful, modern, and professional website I could have NEVER imagined for myself. She was prompt, understood the amount of stress I had been under and took charge, prioritized me (even after I insisted on taking her time aka trying my best not to inadvertently push my own stress onto her), and turned my nothing into something... IN LITERALLY TWO DAYS. The amount of stress she removed from my plate was well worth every investment into this website and I am truly grateful that I was connected to Roya, and to Carly. The sales are misleading. Promises one thing to get customers engaged and signed contract, and then later the services that were promised were not there. The SEO is not existing. The prices are so high and the SEO and AI rankings are not present. The SEO plummeted dramatically after starting with their company. We really need to look into other company to help us with SEO. Communication with the team is poor. Once the person who we regularly communicated with could not address the concern, they threw it in for another account manager/representative. Website editing is difficult to implement. Takes 3-5 business days for simple changes. We regret to ever use this company. We believe this mindset of deceitful will not take business far anywhere. They should be more truthful and accommodating to customers. Also there is none or very few companies that require such 12 month contracts. We would like to warn other to not fall into the traps that we have done.

When I approached Amberdot owner Grazyna over one year ago, it was with the request to have her volunteer her time and charge us the least amount possible for a website that would contain committee newsletters, collect and maintain data, feature an interactive store, and have calendar options. Grazyna graciously agreed to create a website for our committee for the same price that we used to pay another webmaster (on a yearly basis, mind you) simply for that former webmaster to do a few monthly edits and image changes--nothing more or we would be charged. Now, I don't want to focus only on price, here, as I am trying to convey the message that Grazyna was excellent at giving us her time, responsiveness, and expertise. As our website work rolled out, Grazyna stuck with us. Our needs and understanding changed a bit over time as we figured out kinks and glitches, and Grazyna and another person in our committee worked long and hard all spring, summer, and early fall to accommodate our committee's needs.
