They were slammed. But it was worth the wait. Crust had the little bit of crispy and soft and chewy.

We had lunch there following the dog show. We had large dogs with us, and the owner and staff could not have been more helpful - the owner walked us to a good parking place, brought menus outside to make it easier to order because we couldn't go inside, and made sure our lunch was ok and it was great. I cannot recommend this business more highly. read more

Ate at the Italian Kitchen since we were going through Ovid and wanted a bite to eat. My SO had a chicken finger sub and loved it. My son & I had burgers and they were good. Got a ton of fries but they were just ok. People there were nice. read more

This little restaurant made our trip to Ovid. It was the first place we stopped at after traveling all day and it was so delicious and memorable that it was the last place we went to before leaving for home a week later! The food was great and hit the spot but Leah Wright was the biggest reason we loved it! She greeted us like we were long lost friends and went out of her way to make sure we felt welcomed and cared for. Sure wish we lived closer so we could come back often to get our pizza fix and a fun conversation at the same time! Thank you, Leah! read more

Great pizzas!! Delivery very prompt. Go to pizza in the area. Lots of choices. Hot subs very good.

All the food was very delicious. Delivery was much faster than expected. Lucky to have a great restaurant (Italian Kitchen) locally. Thanks for all the hard work. read more

We were in the area in one of the cabins where they deliver. Ordered boneless wings with hot garlic sauce and regular wings with hot sauce. 5/5 for both taste, quantity and on-time delivery. read more

great burgers and especially the pizza, very best takeout on Sunday night. Worth the drive from Sampson State Park.

The food, the service, the prices, and the people are all exceptional! Outstanding Italian food, one in, take out, and delivery! read more

Ordered a large pizza and found it to be very greasy. Even though I arrived to pick it up 15 minutes ahead of the time I was told it would be done, it must have been sitting on the counter for some time as the pizza was not hot. Service was OK, Ambiance lacking. I will not return. read more

My wife and I were in town touring the Finger Lakes. We stopped in at the Firehouse Distillery/ Brewery and decided to order a Calzone. It was so good. First of all, it was huuuuge. I'm a big guy, and I was fine splitting it with my wife for dinner. They put ricotta in (I think), and it was delicious. Considering there aren't a ton of options in the area, you're in good hands. Update: We liked the calzone so much, we ordered delivery on our last night in the area. We're staying in Interlaken, and it was within the delivery area. They were right on time. And my god, the food. The garbage sauce on the wings was incredible. They mix a bunch of sauces, and it's the bomb. Like a garlicky, barbecue with an extra sweetness and also a slight kick. The wings were crispy, huge, and tons of good white meat. Bravo! I'm going to write letters to the wing places in my area to invent a similar sauce. We got a medium pepperoni and it was top notch too. On the larger side at 14 inches. Good NY style pizza. read more

Pizza of high quality, fresh ingredients, great Sicilian style pastry crust - all worth the wait. Loads of garlic, feta cheese, olive oil and spinach on my Greek pie. Left overs were a tasty treat the next day! read more

I was able to order over the phone and the order was completed within 15 minutes (2 sandwiches). The panini with no side was filling and my wife and I enjoyed it ! She did mention that her panini was not warm and we ate only 5 minutes after picking up the order. read more

Have ordered from here many times- will never order there again- after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for our order it was wrong- the pizza ordered was too have pepperoni and sausage on it- it was plain- they took the pizza back the toppings on it gave it back without even warming it up- if they did it wasn't for to long- so they just lost my business read more

pricey for what you get. Dropped all pizza combos. Charges more for credit cards which in my opinion is an outdated mindset. Can't stand businesses who do this. Sorry it's not 1982. Who carries cash? No one. Only plus is the Pizza is better than Pats. May want to continue South 15 minutes to Scale house. Paying the same price with fresh taps and better pizza, of course no fee for credit cards. read more

Their pizza is awesome. Had a calzone last night and it was fabulous. Ordered over the phone and the girl that answered was courteous, friendly and took my order flawlessly. My food was ready in 20 minutes. I also ordered a chef salad and it had rolled meats of ham and salami and chicken. The house Italian dressing was superb. The new building looks great inside, much better than before the fire. We will definitely eat here again. read more

Italian Kitchen is... inconsistent. I love it so much and try to support as much as I can, because it's a true local place here in Ovid. That being said, I have also experienced my fair share of food poisoning from this place. My advice is to grab pizza and stay away from the wings. Also, no matter how many times we would try to order Buffalo garlic wings we always got garlic parm? If it's not on the menu, take it off the list... read more

Food was great. Best pasta sauce I have ever had. Good service. Should probably be giving it five stars.

1st time ordering... very happy! We got the Brothers combo pizza. Decent amount of toppings. Everywhere we get pizza we order extra sauce since no place puts sauce on anymore...we got the amount we hoped for and so far BEST pizza in Seneca County!!! Thank you read more

Ordered a medium pizza and wings. When I got there to pick my order up the girl at the counter opened the pizza box and asked if it looked OK. I committed that it didn't have muck pineapple ( 2 chunks per slice. She whispered to me that he doesn't like pineapple. I question what that had to do with it. She stated that it's on there. I said what 2 pices a slice? She threw my change down on the pizza box and started to walk away. And was very rude when I asked for the manager. She reluctantly got someone from the kitchen who appalaged to me and offered a free desert. This is not the first rude counter girl I've had there. I'll think twice before going there again. read more

Great place for hamburgers. Super friendly pizza looked amazing but we were in the mood for burgers. GF said best burger she ever had!

My husband and I were out visiting wineries for the day and stopped in for a quick slice of pizza. HUGE slices and delicious pizza. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! read more

This place is always good. I have never had a piece of pizza from here that was bad. They can be busy at times so the wait may be longer but it's worth it. Sometimes you may find your garlic knots over done so ask for them to be cooked a little less than normal. If you love garlic pizza then try theirs. You won't be disappointed. read more

We ordered large Cheese, Hawaiian, and Combo pizzas. All the pizzas were good. Plenty of toppings, good price and promptly made. We also had traditional Wings with medium buffalo sauce. The wings were excellent!! Well cooked ( nice and crispy on the outside yet the chicken was not dry). Generously sauced with a very good traditional buffalo sauce. The medium level was spot on. Definitely a kick, but not overly hot. Everyone in our group of 8 loved them. read more

Not sure what to expect for a few slices passing through.. looked darn good...decent wide size and all with the crunchy thin crust. Buuuut started ok, then felt a bit queeeeezy on the stomach 3/4 way through a slice.. didnt have second, tossed out later that day. Was disappointed but after realizing over $3 a cheeze slice in Ovid ny... Ovid!!! Kinda pissed me off after tossing one out and getting upset stomach from it. Not typical I'm sure based on ratings... but its my experience with my rock gut.. Dont get the one $ on google either, menu was fairly expensive..especially in ovid for a takeout joint read more

Always our lunch stop on the way from Philadelphia to the Finger Lakes. Buffalo pizza is all we've ever tried in all the years coming here. Amazing sauce with a side of blue cheese. Family owned with extra friendly staff. If you're anywhere close, stop in. read more

My family ate lunch here yesterday. The food was amazing...10 stars! The garlic knots were some of the best we have had, the pizza and crust were on point and the wings were the best we have in the Finger Lakes! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars was because the knots were served with cold marinara sauce and when we asked for some that was warmed up, we were given one that was equally as cold with the explanation that they keep it in freezer. Also, my husband asked for one of the pizza toppings to be chicken tossed in wing sauce (which he would have gladly paid extra for) and he was told that he had to order the specialty pizza in order to get the chicken tossed in the sauce. Not a huge deal, just didn't really want all the extra toppings on the speciality pizza. But again, the food was awesome! read more

Great food. Best kept secret in the fingerlakes. We just moved to ovid and were so excited to find somewhere that delivers here.

I do not appreciate attitude from a so called manager telling me it's not her damn problem that my fiancé didn't have enough cash, or her damn problem that my fiancé didn't hear the total to even try and get the rest of the balance, and when asked to speak to a manager get told I am the damn manager, I had requested to talk to the owner and get told they aren't there and that I can talk to them about the damn problem, very unprofessional, do not appreciate being swore at. I will never do business with this place again.!!!!! read more

Wonderful NY style pizza. Chewy, crispy crust, flavorful sauce, great cheese and wonderful toppings. Definitely worth a visit.

Tried them, their pizza is good, only thing I didn't like was on the buffalo pizza there was way too much sauce and it made it hard to eat.

Let me start by saying I am a picky pizza eater. I like thin crust, large slices, and distinguished spices, sauce, and cheese tastes. This restaurant checks all those boxes and more! Their house pie is perfect, every time! You will not regret stopping into this little town for a big slice! I have had several dinners, as well as wings (garbage wings are amazing!) and they are all really delicious! I've met the owners and they are friendly- you can tell they truly care about their food, employees, and of course, their customers. I highly recommend Italian Kitchen any day of the week! read more

This pizza spot actually deserves all 5 stars for being THIS good in little tiny Ovid, NY, but I reserve the 5th star for return trips. Superb crust, crunchy and thin, generous toppings (I had the veggie, but they had 7 different pies, all different, all delicious-looking, at lunch time.) Slices were l-a-r-g-e, price was under $2.50, sauce was very good, quantity and quality of cheese was just right, veggies were cooked properly, not burned or underdone, and there was a certain artistry to the presentation. This is pizza that the maker took pride in. If you like NY Style pizza and are sick of the typical Finger Lakes/Central/Western NY crap that passes for pizza (Mark's, etc.) then this pizza is worth going out of your way for. Support the people that are original and take pride in their craft and stop buying the s-h-i-t that passes for pizza we have to deal with in this area. Also, really nice guy at the counter. Small-town friendliness and service at its finest. Congratulations. read more

We were visiting Ovid for Geocaching. Small nice tourist town. The restaurant was good looking and took our attention. The service was great and the menu is great. we ordered a Greek pizza.
