Barbara Calvo should pat herself on the back and give herself a standing ovation…read more I rolled up in this place to rent a truck, get some boxes and a mattress cover. I found out quickly that the City of Oldsmar does not allow storage facilities to rent trucks. I'm not sure who on Oldsmar's city council got screwed by U-Haul, but if Americans can fly to Cuba now, it might be time to let it go! This business could make so much more money on rentals. But none of this official city business was going to stop Barbara. She logged into her system and remotely accessed the nearest U-Haul location with trucks and booked my reservation like a pro. When I arrived a week later to the Hillaborough location, everything was good to go. The process was seamless. I also got a bundle of small boxes. I have a massive record collection, and these boxes are ideal for moving them. The boxes cost about $1 a piece, but Barbara was sure to let me know that if I bought 25, I'd get a discount. I love a bargan and 25 come to a bundle, so it worked out great! I won't go anywhere else for my U-Haul reservations.

Janice is so sweet and friendly. Her and her co worker spent time with me showing me several units that were available and helped pick which would be perfect for me. I was in a bit of a time crunch near the end so she put the lock on for me and I came back to pick the Keys up a lil later. The facility is very clean. My daughter even commented when she walked in about how good it smelled in there. I also had to take a quick restroom break while I was there and it was exceptionally clean, well stocked and smelled great. So if you're in the Westchase area and in need of storage I highly recommend Westchase Self Storage. Priced right, great location, friendly staff and a well taken care of facility!

After a family member passed away, I brought the certified death certificate, Will, and Trust documents as the Trustee and sole beneficiary. However, the manager incorrectly insisted that I also needed Power of Attorney, which is no longer valid after a person's death. We were eventually allowed access only because I already had the entry code. Once inside the unit, we found rat droppings throughout the space, along with visible rat traps in the hallways. Despite the unit being indoors on the second floor with air conditioning, there was clearly a serious pest problem. Roaches were climbing the walls, and when we got home, we discovered rat urine had soaked into several plastic bins. The condition of the facility was unacceptable.

However, my move out was the worst. The maintenance manager that patrols the property was rude, condescending, and disrespectful to me and my movers. They said they don't allow large trucks, but they waited til we were already there to say something. Mind you, we used the same truck I moved in with and we were never told this before. This isn't even what upset me about it though, he came up and threatened to sue us if we damaged their property. He screamed and yelled at me and movers, I said fine no problem and bit my tongue. As we were leaving, I attempted to apologize again for misunderstanding to smooth it over cause I saw him following us around the entire time. He was disrespectful and told me to talk to Bonnie and put his hand up, but had no problem following me everywhere. I told him there was no need to act like a tool and then he hops out of his truck comes over to my car and starts screaming and threatening me. This man is very unhinged and seems to potentially be on drugs or something. His behavior was very weird. I don't recall his name, but he drives the beat up red pick up truck.
