Although today is a holiday I figured the billing department would be open since ISP.net is open 24 hrs. Well, I was wrong LOL! I call and spoke with a young lady by the name of Carla. Although she was not able to make the correction I needed, she did offer as much assistance as he could in getting my issue resolved and offered to have someone call me back on the next business day. Thank you, Carla, for being such a pleasant and great representations for your company. Keep you the good work. read more

I checked one of major WISPs available in my market, Las Vegas, the best value is Verizon 5G or T-Mobile if bundled with the voice line. The 2nd best value is spotty availability - WeLink, then Starlink for higher price but better than the last spot is Isp.Net. All of above is better than Cox cable and also spotty availability landline fibers. read more

My internet went out this morning and when I submitted a ticket, someone got back to me in about five minutes. Unexpected btw. They could not fix the issue and scheduled a technician to come out that same afternoon. I have been using them the whole 3 years I've been in Vegas and the radio receiver on the satellite had went out. They replaced it that minute and for the overall value of Las Vegas internet, you can't get any better. I've never had a problem with their service and the second I did after three years they fixed it immediately. read more

Amazing service! Been with the company for a few years now (formerly LV Net) and just doubled my internet speed at no additional cost! Thank you ISP! read more

I've lived in a number of places and used a Wireless ISP (WISP) in many, even helping operate one in New York City. Sadly, LV.Net is by far the worst I've used. In order to talk about how bad LV.Net is in providing decent service for their customers there's one important fact about computer networking to understand: for normal browsing, only latency matters. The time it takes for a web page to load is almost entirely determined by the amount of time it takes for information to get from your computer, to the server hosting the web site and back. (Also technically the consistency of that time matters, but less so). The available bandwidth doesn't matter at all, as long as we're talking even five or ten megabits per second. You can learn more about these issues by googling "bufferbloat". First of all, LV.Net doesn't bother to optimize their antennas for decent latency. The gear they use (Ubiquiti's airMax AC line, gear I've deployed and configured in the field) has two settings for how it manages time on the air - fixed and flexible. Fixed does what it says - assigns fixed time slices to every customer. This means if your neighbors aren't currently using their internet much (of course they aren't, no one is using 100% of their internet all the time, let alone all of your neighbors!) you're still waiting for their time to finish before you get to talk. This adds substantial latency. In previous testing on a production system, we found that switching this one setting more than halved the latency observed by customers, roughly doubling page load performance for common websites! LV.Net never bothered to check, I guess. LV.Net carries a lot of their traffic all the way to Los Angeles, rather than delivering it to servers in Las Vegas locally. This roughly 1.5x-doubles latency to servers in Las Vegas. Admittedly, Cox does this more, but it's a little less noticeable when you aren't also dealing with the latency of wireless on top. While there's only so many servers hosted locally in Las Vegas, other ISPs I've used have invested in the local community with Internet Exchange Points to help ensure their customers get the best possible experience while reducing long-term cost. LV.Net doesn't bother to even use the Exchanges Points in Los Angeles. Finally, LV.Net still hasn't bothered to deploy IPv6. It's 2023, more than a decade after World IPv6 Launch Day. Servers are increasingly IPv6-only and LV.Net hasn't bothered to even get a single IPv6 address up and running on their network. This means you simply can't connect to a tiny minority of services, but more importantly it means gaming, video conferencing, and order P2P applications have yet more latency and hiccups. Of course none of this speaks to the rather anemic bandwidth offerings LV.Net has, for something like 5x the cost per megabit of other urban WISPs I've used. It's really a shame LV.Net hasn't bothered to invest in providing competitive service. Its absolutely possible to run a Wireless ISP and give better page load performance than cable (which sucks for other reasons), but it requires careful monitoring, a few minor tweaks, and investment in your network to ensure packets get there quick. With the Cox monopoly across most of Vegas, there's a desperate need for decent competition, but LV.Net simply isn't it. Kudos to their first line support who's willing to listen to customers, but they're about as clueless as the folks making decisions. Even enterprise sales isn't aware of how their network operates or what services they are able to offer. read more

We've been using LV Net as our internet provider for a few years now and are so happy with our services, we made the decision to switch over as the bigger names were too slow and always had outages and issues. i recently moved and FINALLY got away from lv.net's deathgrip... i have the same speed service with a new ISP that lv.net "provided", yet it's somehow 100x faster. and that's not an exaggeration in the least, if anything i'm being kind. these cowards (the owner in particular) actually called my ex-landlord and threatened to shut down services if i left another bad review, all this after telling me personally that my landlord was too cheap to even afford them... their basic 50mb service operated at 50kbps for years on end, and they continually denied it despite the obvious facts and refused to ever fix it. go check out their "offices" on eastern and sahara, it's an abandoned building with a van out front, real classy read more

I have been using them for several years. Paying $125 a month for the lowest coverage, very slow speeds. I recently went to starlink, cause its much more coverage, much faster and less money. I went to cancel my service last week, they all of a sudden offered if I stay, then it will only be $50 a month.... So all of you paying the $125, call to cancel and get the 50 a month price. So I already have the new service installed and then get a bill for the next month. I called and spoke with the manager and she could care less. Says, since they haven't picked up the equipment, I am still getting billed. The equipment is off and already taken down sitting on the side of my house which I told them the day I cancelled. Asked to speak to someone higher then her and she refused to pass the call on. Unreal service for a customer that overpaid them for years. read more

You are better off using the hotspot on your phone than getting internet through this company. Their staff is also incredibly unhelpful. Lv.net is very very cheap internet, and they make sure that you know that. The service is wildly poor. If you have more than one device you'd like to connect to the internet: DON'T BOTHER! In a digital world, Lv.net does everything in it's power to make living in it as inconvenient as possible. This service isn't worth money at all. read more

We've had LV net for about 5 years. Have had zero issues in that five years. Today I noticed our wifi wasn't working. I called and spoke with a representative. the salesman lied when we first signed up. told us they would give us fiber and when technicians were at are house explained we didn't have fiber and the company had no plans to bring fiber to our town. technicians were only ones who were good. all the people we called to cancel they told us they won't allow us to speak with a supervisor! we tried to cancel twice but the people lied and were completely uncooperative! we cancelled first on 1/7/25. they just charged us for the service. we asked for a refund they said they would never do that. then a month later we get a notice that they are going to charge us again. thankfully I had contacted the bank on the 7th to ensure this corrupt company wouldn't be able to charge us again. they told us to return the equipment. they emailed a label after i told him I had no way to print out the label. so after hours on the phone they are still trying to charge me. 10x BETTER THAN COX, less expensive than CenturyLink *(if you can't get the higher speed for your location)*...I should have switched to ISP.net/LV.net years ago...After CenturyLink raised my rates and not able to raise my speed I needed to switch. I contacted ISP.net they answered all my questions, the technician arrived on time and was beyond helpful, respectful, and very polite. Not only am I getting slightly more speed in comparison to CenturyLink the service has been very stable. If I need anything simply calling and someone will answer. read more

Hey, did I have a piece of mind when I called LV.net for service with them again on 07/13/2021. On 07/17/2021my service with tech Rocoo Dapice was excellent. Tech was professional, knew what he was there for taken care of issue and then answered all my questions and done in minutes....He was friendly and courteous. LV.net is far more better than cox or century link.....Those two companies fibb about LOB and products offered and intern charge much. They arrived at the agreed upon time, installed their equipment, and I have been happy customer for almost a year. I use it for streaming and remite work. This is an individual provider for high speed internet. My honest opinion?! They are the best there is. Monthly locked in price, no more no less. Internet service is very consistent and when you need customer service, they are available at your service. The installation itself is perfect. Our dish stands high of our roof against the wind, the rain and extreme sunshine. The most important part of all is the quality of the internet service. We have been with them for more than a year now and the number of internet was downs was zero. They billed your credit card and no phonecalls to upsell is ever. We have tried century, dish, and many more cable services for internet service and all failed to satisfy us as customers. I'm very happy of Yelp because through this app is how I found LV.NET. They may not have plenty of reviews but all reviews written were satisfactory notes from their clients. That's all I needed to see. Thank you LV.Net for your great service. read more

I support LV.net over all other providers. Our Technician Eric Dean was friendly, helpful, punctual, and worked hard to ensure the best connectivity with our living situation. He also gave us tips on better connection without being pushy or trying to sell us something!! He had allot to do to connect our new home service and knocked it out in short amount of time. He was kind and patient when asking questions and asked for our personal preference for location of the devices! He even used his own surge protector with out cost! We have had LV.net in two locations and both experiences were better than any we have had previously. You guys are always quick to fix problems and easy to schedule with. We truely appreciate you!! Thank you again Eric Dean!! read more

We were looking for a dependable Internet Provider and I was told by my friends from Master Installers LLC, to try out LV.NET. So 2 days ago I called LV.NET and got a quote and I liked that Micheal from Lv.net answered all my questions and I decided to go with them for our internet service, I scheduled a 7 am to 10 am window for installation and Eric the Technician arrived at me home at 645 so awesome quick and easy install and the internet was on and working as promised. I can't ask for anything more. Thank you so much LV.NET. If you are looking for dependable and great internet service l. Give LV.NET a call read more

Here's an update since my original review was from May, 2018. We still love this service and have had extremely minimal problems. Every once in a while when it's REALLY stormy the service can be slow, but it's line of site radio waves (I think, not a huge tech person lol) so realistically that is to be expected. The only other issue we had was because our router needed to be replaced, and they even helped us with that. They were able to look at the service on their side and explain to me what we most likely needed before upgrading our service for a higher monthly cost. Any time we looked at new devices (like a video doorbell or the new router) we've been able to call them and get their opinion on what would work best with our service. We are still extremely happy with LV Net and I don't see us leaving them any time soon! Their customer service simply can't be beat, and the same goes for their prices! read more

Great service! Very satisfied with the technion work. Lv.net was referred to us by our neighbors and everyone seem to love it.

Excellent customer service from both sales representative and our technician jose. Our plan really was Century link but since they messed it up by not showing up in our designated appointment. I ended doing little more research and found this establishment. I would say i did the right thing. First thing was the sales people were super nice and very straight forward and second the technician Jose came in exactly on the dot and installed our service within an hour. On top of that he cleaned all his mess. Who does that! Not even cox did that for us after being in their service for 15 years. Internet is fast but little high on price, but hey you get what you paid for right? I cant complain on the speed and range of their internet its been over 3 weeks and so far no single outage or problem that we used to have with cox. Definitely recommend them and give them a try. read more

Honestly the best internet out there. They are very attentive. When I first got this installed - I needed a router or something and had no idea. The gentleman that installed my internet literally explained to me what I needed (he was already there) and waiting for me as I went to Best Buy to go purchase. As a single mom, there are times I'm a little late on my payment which has resulted in my internet being shut off but as soon as I pay it, it is immediately turned back on. Places usually wait a day. I've had this service for almost a year and have only had one issue (HOA didn't like where they put it) and they were out the next day fixed it. I highly recommend going here! Get out of those contracts and rip off companies. YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED. The connection is absolutely amazing as well - never ANY problems. I live in bad service area too!! read more

Literally so annoyed. I get home from work and my internet is not working. For the second time in two months! I am forced to have LV Net, my apartment complex does not offer any other services. Previously I had COX, I had them for two years with NO issues, AND I paid less for the same quality of internet! So I call Lv net and roger informs me they are aware of the problem at my apartment complex. They do not send out notifications nor do they know when the problem will be fixed. Considering A LOT of people are still working from home right now this is a huge issue. I CANT STAND THIS COMPANY! The only reason they got two stars instead of one is because the customer service is always polite. read more
