My internet service went down and when I called, a real live person answered the phone and I was not put on hold! What a revolutionary idea! I was walked through some steps and when they didn't work, they sent a tech out to troubleshoot. The problem was in the antenna. He had to install a stronger one and put it in a different location. Took maybe 2 hrs or so. No charge, fast service from the start, and the tech answered all my questions. I have been shopping around for Internet since moving to Las Vegas and I finally chose LV.Net. I just relocated to Vegas from LA and my new rental literally had no cable providers above 6mbps. I thought life was going to end and in 120 degree heat. I did some searching and discovered LV.net. I was always used to shared cable lines but LV.net offered me an amazing alternative; a private point to point connection! I have never used microwave DSL but at 90mbps it's just as fast, if not faster, than my shared 300mbps high speed internet. I am glad to support a locally owned ISP.  Not many of these are around anymore. I just got my internet service installed by LV Net today.  Placed an order for service on Sunday, gear got installed on Tuesday AM. The install went smooth and now we are enjoying some nice solid bandwidth. I should have gotten LV.net  service years ago ! I got a quote back in 2015 and the price was just a bit to high at that time for those of us who are not large data users and used to low priced Naked DSL.   Now that they have a 5mbs/$50 per month service I was happy to kick my DSL service to curb.  Due to the distance from our place to main DSL hub, we never got over 3.5mbs with high latency. Had cox, but it was just way to expensive and still had a bad latency issue when playing games online. Jumped over to LV.net got setup on their microwave wireless which is crazy and its very quick. Never goes down and is always blazing fast! Id recommend 100 percent for anyone on a lower budget that was the quickest speeds. Cox just costs to much thats the problem with them. read more

The bomb! Best internet I have ever used. These guys offer 24/7 customer service and if you if there is a problem, they will send one of their technician right away. I canceled them back in March 2017 but they kept taking the $450 out of my account every month I had to close my account completely because they wouldn't stop taking the money out of my account I've called over and over I've wrote them letters and they still didn't stop . I use LV Net at my residence and rental properties. They used to be very reliable but I have been experiencing nothing but issues for the past three months. I have called countless times they have created countless tickets and still the issue has not been resolved. My wife can't even work reliably from home anymore. They sent technicians out to my home who confirmed that my system was set up incorrectly but no one can figure out how to fix it. My wife has called in a number of times begging them to send someone out to fix the problem or bring new equipment and they refuse, Stating it's against policy and they will escalate the problem to their network engineers. How many times does an individual have to call in before the problem will actually be escalated to these "network engineers"and fixed? We are promised callbacks every time we call in and we never receive them. Done with LV Net! Going to give Hughes Net a try. read more

I contacted them a couple of years ago. I am in a fringe area on Blue Diamond Road (hwy 160). They said they are line of site and would have service available after there was more of a demand. I am one mile from one of their commercial customers yet i can't get it yet. It seems they are only required to skim the cream of customers and not service fringe customers even within one mile. Maybe I'm wrong but doesn't something like "Obama phone" or something like that apply in fringe areas? Can someone check on current availability. I have run out of patience. Bill M. read more

Outstanding colocation facility, particularly for crypto mining servers. I've been in the IT field since the 80s and was a partner in one of the first 5 US ISPs in the early 90s, so I am not easily impressed nor satisfied. Uptime is everything with btc servers as every minute down is money lost, literally. Since moving our mining servers to LV, our uptime has been the best since we started mining in 2016. The uptime is literally 100% to date after over 6 months. Instead of having to constantly monitor our rigs via VPN, it's entirely hands off and they do everything needed included in the very reasonable colo price. They also have repair service for Antminer and other HW on site, which makes a huge difference. Unlike many places calling themselves colos for mining, this is a proper data center in a hardened facility, run by extremely competent people. I've worked in IT infrastructure and security for 3+ decades and give LV my strongest recommendation for facility and knowledge leading to the best possible uptime. read more

I am staying at the oasis RV park in Las Vegas. Their Internet is terrible. I would never let LV.net on my property. It's not that their service is completely slow. It's that their login process is difficult across multiple devices. You could never get back to the page for agreeing with their terms and you never know if you're really login or not. I moved to a location that provides LV Net internet service, and signed for 3 months, paid in advance for the service. I signed up on Friday night and was not able to get a decent signal. I was able to connect online, but connection is taking forever just to check on my email. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to connect online on Saturday, but no successful connection. Finally, after being kick out online every 5 minutes, I called their technical support and they told me that I am using the connection from where I'm staying, they are just providing the router to the business. I advised them to just cancel my subscription and refund my money. I was told that the full amount will be refunded and to just follow it up with their Billing Dept on regular business days. Well, I received and email yesterday from them and they did not refunded the full amount. Called up their main number, 702-900-0000, and spoke to a certain RACHEL WILSON, stated that she's the Billing Manager. Told me that the reason why I was not refunded the full amount was because I was using it for 3 days. I explained to her that, that was not continuous connection and it was cutting off every 5 minutes. They charged me $20.00 for no connectivity. She sent me an email with all the usage that I have which I explained to her that the connection kept dropping. Well, it is a big mistake signing up with them. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, everyone! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE PROVIDER. THEY ARE CHEATING THE CONSUMERS. THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING THE SERVICE AND STILL CHARGING PEOPLE..... read more

Use LV.net for internet access in Boulder City (near the airport) and am totally satisfied. LV.net is far superior to our previous satellite internet with Wild Blue/Dish Network. LV.net offers better value; way better connection; no ridiculously low limits on upload/download traffic and therefore no usurious penalties for busting them; no interference in cloudy weather. LV.net has out-shined Dish Network in every way possible. Once in 2 years the service was down for about 1.5 hours and when I called they were already troubleshooting and fixing it. Every time I call (which is rare) I get a live human right away. Try calling customer support for Wild Blue/Dish Network!!! I shall say no more. read more

Century link has better customer service than you guys. Ive been going around in cirlcles for 5 days now trying to get internet back in my house. You wont even send a technician out to see if anything is wrong because your systwm shows everything is fine. While i sit here with a house of devices that cant even load face book. Ive tried connecting directly through my poe with multiple brand new ethernet cables. The last guy said hed send someone out by monday and didnt schedule a tech. So i call back today and the guy threatens me with a 150 service fee because YOUR modem isnt properly spitting internet. When it does work it will speed test a normal speed but fail to load netflix or facebook. This is an absolute joke of a company. NO supervisors are ever present when you need them nor do they call back. If i had another option for internet id take it in a heartbeat. Im an extremely dissatisfied customer and i will be very outspoken about how ive been treated by this compay. read more
