I love ambi and Donna/amber. They always make me feel welcome and treat me like a queen. The free alcoholic drinks they have also make the ambience that much better. The music is great as well! I always hear people asking what their playlist is. Ambi is one of the most requested techs which is why I am grateful every time I am able to get her! I love Donna/amber because she is the only that makes me feel like I have new feet when I leave. They put their heart and soul into it and you can tell. Also shoutout to lily the manager! She is a jill of all trades and if I had a nail mess up or I didn't like it she will personally fix it. Last but not least the girls at the front desk always go out of their way to make me feel special. Every single one of them. I've not met one receptionist that hasn't tried to get to know me and talk to me while I'm waiting. I do my best to take care of everyone because this Milano is the best in Houston! I later saw on her Instagram story that she had an opening at 3:30 she was trying to fill. Had anyone bothered to contact me -- a call, a text, an email, anything -- I could have slid into that slot or taken my business to Adore Nails or Memorial Nail Care, both of which maintain a full staff capable of doing amazing designs. Instead, I received zero communication. I showed up to my appointment only to be told they don't honor that particular nail technician's bookings and that their systems haven't been updated to reflect that. So you're actively allowing clients to book a specific technician through your online portal, knowing full well those preferences will be ignored? That's not a miscommunication -- that's a scam- a bait and switch. The available staff could not do designs, which I was fully aware of -- which is exactly why I chose this technician specifically. I was left with no real options and settled for a plain manicure. My cuticles were done well, but my "oval" nails are not oval, and my gel is visibly bumpy -- not a smooth finish in sight. I could have done better myself. Unfortunately I didn't have the time, which is precisely why I booked with someone I knew would make it worth it -- only to be completely ignored. Fix your booking system. Contact your clients when there's a change. Don't advertise a service you have no intention of honoring. Your front desk girl is very patient, very sweet, and was very apologetic. She should not have had to apologize for what is clearly a failure of management.

I came in and requested a soak off. Everything was going fine the customer service was great and…read morequick and the vibe was very nice. They got right to work. Now, yes I have a separate nail tech and only need salons for soak offs. But even the simplest service can lead to a disaster. The lady removing my acrylics was doing a great job at first. Until she used the clamp that i thought was for removing longer acrylic on my already cut down nails and almost removed the entire tip of my pinky off. The bleeding couldn't stop. They used a green nail liquid to stop the bleeding but it still bled way after I left. Another lady, who I suppose does way better soak off comes over and continues my service. Now.. if that's the case why didn't she remove my nails in the first place because the second lady was way more gentle than the last. What offended me even more was when they said to come back so they can remove the acrylic off my injured pinky. The way they will NEVER see me again. I shouldn't have to get multiple services to be treated with respect. A soak off is still a service at the end of the day. Also, I noticed how unsanitary they are and they don't have a specific protocol for these situations. The clamp that they injured me with, they placed it on the table next to me. The same table where another lady next to me was getting her nails done. Lastly, yes I was still charged for this soak off, $10. How would you feel to be charged for almost chopping your pinky finger off? Not great. Yes it was a mistake, that shouldn't have happened since these are supposed to be professionals. They did apologize a lot. But I definitely don't think I should've been charged for this.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!…read more I had been going here for a couple of years and knew the owner, Vanessa, from when she worked at PureLux. When she moved to this location, I started going there because she had previously been my nail technician. However, I was eventually told that she was no longer taking customers, so I was assigned to Hailey. That's when the problems started. Hailey had a huge attitude because I happened to come in on a day she was off and had another technician who I really liked. I continued requesting that technician, and apparently, Hailey had an issue with that. On another visit, I had Hailey again, and she was extremely rude when I asked her to show me the available colors. In a very condescending manner, she told me that I had to choose the color she was showing me. I eventually called and asked to speak with either Vanessa or Amanda. I was told that one of them would call me back. That call never happened. I'm still waiting for it, and this was a couple of years ago! I recently looked at their reviews out of curiosity and honestly couldn't believe how many negative reviews they've received. Unfortunately, based on my own experience, I'm not surprised. As a business owner myself, I would have expected a completely different level of customer service, especially toward someone who had been a loyal customer for years. Customers should feel valued and respected, not treated as though they are an inconvenience. Needless to say, I never went back.

I'm by no means a high maintenance nail girl, in fact I never paint my finger nails but I try my best to keep up with pedicures on a semi-regular basis. The salon is definitely no thrills but the ladies are all very sweet and do high quality work. Even if the salon is busy, they take their time to ensure no step is skipped or done with less than full effort. I always get just a regular pedicure ($33) and it comes with a soak, cuticle trim, nail file, heal exfoliation, a short lotion lower leg massage, two coats of polish, and a top coat. They always make sure that you take the necessary time to dry before leaving. Each station has a massager chair for extra relaxation and guests are offered a cold soda or water at the beginning of their appointment. Over the past year that I have been coming, I can tell that there are a lot of regular customers which is great to see. You shouldn't anticipate trouble getting a walk in appointment, however it's a nice courtesy to call before driving over to ensure that they have someone who can see to you. Overall, I'm definitely a fan and will continue to visit!

Definitely a great space to relax and get some quiet time in. I've been to so many salons that are chaotic and it's hard to relax, and this was definitely not one of them. They have a big selection of polishes and colors, and I was seated and offered something to drink immediately. The nail techs were very professional and efficient and both did a great job. It's rare that I leave a salon with shellac that hasn't bubbled or been messed up in some way. I'm really picky about how my nails are done because I typically do them at home, but I was more than happy with the results of both my manicure and pedicure. Importantly, both nail techs were super gentle with my hands and feet and checked in throughout the service to make sure I was happy with how things were going. The only comment I have to make is that as a first time customer, I wasn't aware that the shellac manicure option with a massage is $10 more. The massage was amazing and exactly what I needed after a long week, but I wish the pricing was a bit more transparent up front. With that said, it was a great experience through and through and I was happy to pay extra for the massage. I will be back!

You enter your phone number to check for an existing account, which made things quick and seamless. What stood out most was how extremely friendly the staff was. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely cared for. Everyone I interacted with was kind, patient, and attentive. I came in for a traditional pedicure without gel and made sure to ask about the price difference between gel and regular polish before starting. I also asked to see the full service menu since it wasn't posted anywhere in the salon. During the service, I was offered a glass of white or red wine, or soda, which was such a thoughtful touch. My technician, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, was warm, efficient, and gave me a thorough foot massage. She also placed a heated wrap on my neck, which added another level of relaxation. I had been hoping for the neck and shoulder massage I saw mentioned in other reviews, but I was told that it's only included with manicures. Given how friendly and accommodating everyone was, I would absolutely come back to try that next time. The prices are a bit higher than your average salon. My enhanced pedicure with regular polish came to $52. Gel polish is available for an additional $25, which felt steep to me, so I chose to stick with regular polish. Even so, the massage portion of the service was more intentional than what I've experienced elsewhere. It involved real pressure and kneading, not just a quick lotion rub. That level of care, combined with how genuinely friendly the team was, made the experience feel worth it.
