This was the most disappointing service I've received. The woman doing my pedi talked the entire time to two other manicurists so there was never a moment of peace. This was such a lux experience with my two girl friends. We had our own room with individual booths with pillows. They even offered warm neck pillows. The ladies were friendly & accommodating. Their amenities are outstanding! Very COVID friendly with their little PODs. Their prices are conducive to what amenities you are paying for though. I spent over 160 dollars for my typical pedicure and dip manicure that would cost me 100 at most other places. The technicians were so friendly. However, my three star rating is due to three of my dip nails breaking almost 4 days immediately after. I also believe they cut my nails too close in the cuticle because I've had pain in my cuticle area on my big toes ever since I left the facility. I have only experienced this once before and it was due to the way my nails were shaped and how they hit my tennis and spin shoes when working out. I had dip nails with tip in at first glance they look good but when I got home, I noticed my nails were all different lengths. For an $85 manicure you think it would be done to perfection. This used to be such a nice place, it's SO dirty now and the ladies rush so much that its not an enjoyable experience. They paint your nails BEFORE the hand massage on a manicure. Only thing that does is- you get a terrible rub. They use a dirty sponge to clean the tub after your service- literally pushed my legs over so she could clean it, no liner bag to protect you from bacteria, oily spots on seat bench from previous peoples legs, greasy prints all over the manicure table that comes out of the wall, etc... Jackie gave me a dip powder manicure w/extensions for a wedding I have coming up and Kylie gave me a pedicure. Seriously, Jackie is a saint. I naturally have NO nails and I honestly avoid nail salons due to the "shame" I get for not having better nails. (They are naturally thin, brittle, and short...yay me.) They both were so kind, did not shame me which is a HUGE plus, and did exceptional work. They talked with me and kept checking to make sure nothing was uncomfortable. I went in to Isle Pedispa on Voss 48 hours after my dad passed away to get my nails done for his funeral. I went with my best friend, and we both thought it would be most appropriate to get black. The ladies doing our nails continuously questioned our "sad" color choice, to the point I felt I needed to tell them my father had just passed away. They proceeded with this information by harassing me with questions on exactly how he passed, when, the funeral, details on what will happen to his business, and if I planned to still stay in school. My nail technician left the room to tell others the news, and more women came into our private room to flood us with questions. One woman stated, "I wanted to get work done by him", and another responded with "too late now", and the whole room erupted with laughter. The workers at Isle Pedispa behaved unprofessionally, like I was not a present human being, and I was treated with the upmost disrespect. In the Isle PediSpa on Voss, I was brought to tears before I could even select a nail color. I was in extreme shock and disbelief that anyone would think that this behavior was OK as a reaction to someone passing away. I have only ever gotten my nails done at Isle Pedispa since I have lived in Houston, and I will never return after this disgusting experience. read more

I moved further away about a year ago, but I make the 30-40minute commute for my appointment because Thalia is that amazing. Thalia does all of my manicures, pedicures, and waxes. If she's not available, I schedule for a timeframe when she is. Yep, she's that good. If you go with a friend, I recommend Elizabeth as well. Thalia does a phenomenal job with all of my services and gives awesome foot and hand massages. My favorite pedicure services of choice are green tea and tropical pedicures. While they are more expensive than a pedicure you can get elsewhere, I feel like the ambiance, cleanliness, and services that Thalia provides makes it well worth it. read more

I love this place. It is beyond any pedicure experience I've ever had before. Every person gets their own booth with plush pillows, if not in a private room... so even if you didn't get the *nicest* experience in the private room, you still get a sense of privacy and comfort. Each booth sits under a small chandelier! You also have lots of spa "package" sorts of options, which individualizes your experience. It's pricey, but it's a *spa* experience, not a pedicure experience. Also, like an idiot, I pretty much immediately destroyed the nail color when I went out of the shop and thought my nails were dry. I spent all night totally bummed about it. The next morning, I called in to see if they could squeeze me in to fix it. Not only did they fix it, but they did it for FREE. They didn't have to do that. I was ready to pay. My husband and I went here for a Valentines day outing. We both had pedicures and were very pleased. I had the Coconut Milk Pedicure and I have to say it was the best pedicure I have EVER had in my life. The technician who did mine had the nicest touch...so gentle and precise. I hate getting painful pedicures when someone is beating on my legs or being too rough, or worse, cuts the inside of my toenails - giving me an ingrown nail! She did none of that. She had great technique when trimming my cuticles and I love the foot file they used to remove calluses. The atmosphere was inviting as well. The receptionist could have been a little more cheerful and friendly, but other than that it was a great experience. It's not the kind of place I can afford to go to on a regular basis, but it's definitely where I want to go back to for special occasions. (i.e. birthday, mother's day, etc) :) read more

I came in today to get a full set with shellac or dip. And I wanted to get the same color that I got done originally a week prior and it took about 3540 minutes just for them to be able to find the color. And I almost had to settle for a different color. Secondly I think it's pretty outrageous thought I paid $105 for shellac and a full set, yes I get it you are paying for the atmosphere and the ambience but I got a full set and shellac done with no massage no cleaning up no hot towel wrap. I've been to a lot of other salons that are just as high-end as Isle Pedispa and I get those services without having to book a full manicure with doing a full set and shellac. I guess I'm just a little disappointed that because it's so high-end you don't really get what you're paying for. I've always been the girl that is thrifty about my mani/pedis and go to the $25 places. I still have my favorite, but ever since Isle Pedi opened near me I have been finding myself indulging in a bit. This location is brand spanking new and I love the decor. Chandeliers, glitz, and glam. Each booth has nice soft pillows to lean back into while watching TV on your own personal TV with headphones. They have a huge selection of nail polish to pick from rather then just a round spinner. Also you can get a nice warm neck wrap while sipping on a glass of wine. I usually go for the classic 45 min pedicure which is $38, but with everything that comes along with it it is totally worth the extra money. All the staff members are extremely nice and accommodating plus they are younger girls and not the nosy ladies at the others salon. Bless them but sometimes I just don't want to tell you everything about my life. Maybe it's because I am getting older, but I am definitely appreciating the pamper aspect a lot more then just the final outcome. read more

After reading reviews on yelp, I decided to try out this nail salon since it is in my new neighborhood. From other reviews, it said that they offered wine and a neck wrap, but no one offered me anything. In fact I had to ask for a neck wrap, and they gave me a bottle of water. The place is definitely fancy, and has an upscale vibe. Each customer has their own cube, and a chandelier above them, but the seats are somewhat uncomfortable. I personally prefer the massage chairs that nail salons usually have. All in all this place was okay, but definitely overpriced. The spa is beautifully decorated and has very accommodating front-of-house hospitality. However, the quality of the lags FAR behind the pleasing aesthetics and initial appeal. Clearly, this establishment caters towards groups: bridal parties, birthday parties, ladies' spa dates - I have not yet experienced the service of Isle Pedispa in this setting, but from what I witnessed, ladies were well attended to. For solo spa-goers however, you are shunted to the back as a steerage class customer. I will consider going back with a group, but for the money, I could easily find a more accommodating spa for manicures and pedicure services. read more

Such a cute nail salon! I usually go to Nail Time which does a great job at a great price, but I wanted to go somewhere nicer for my wedding nails. They have private rooms available even for just 2 people with cute chandeliers and couches. They are really quick and do a good job. I noticed they had butterflies all over the spa and I just love butterflies! I was surprised my mom and I had a separate room I wasn't expecting that but we loved it.
