I always feel with mainstream restaurants you can't really say to much that has already been said. Islands is very good, probably anywhere you go, this particular one always has seating, the workers all seem kind, fast service. There is one downfall they never give you enough French fries with your meal..... it sounds petty but how do you have just a few French fries for a full size burger...? And they are usually over cooked. But other then that it's a chain restaurant so. That's as good as it get lol. read more

Burger was good but not fabulous and for $10+, I want fabulous. Fries were pieces instead of fries and dry-crisp. Service slow but polite. Not an experience that makes me want to go back but nothing really negative. read more

Service here is consistently good, but today they totally knocked it out of the park. From greeting to check, everyone was friendly and attentive and very helpful. We have a family member with Celiac Disease and the GM came out to answer questions we had. So glad to have a safe place to go out and see my kids enjoying themselves. This restaurant has extremely slow service. No one here seems to have a sense of urgency to help customers. Even after the manager come to our table to help us, they forgot multiple requests afterwards. This location needs to get their act together. read more

I used to really love Islands but one day I asked the waitress if they ground their own meat. Nope. They use a frozen patty. Seriously? I would stop going to this place except that my kids love this place. Fortunately, I discovered their beer and I believe that it will help to kill all the E-Coli bacteria in your stomach. lol. One of the best places in Temecula, fresh food, the Kob Salad was awesome, as well as the fish tacos,,,and our server Ashley was spot on. The Manger Rick came by to check on us and he was so kind and just a all round great Manager. We will be back and we will bring more family next time we go out there. Islands closes at 9:30 PM. We ordered about 8:30 PM. I ordered fish & chips and my husband ordered a hamburger with fries. The fries were cold and stale. Why? So close to closing, Islands tries to slough off old stale food because they don't want to prepare a fresh batch. We asked for new fries and got them. We shouldn't have to ask for fresh fries. LAZY LAZY LAZY. Also, my chicken tenders had a lot of fat and grizzle in them which I do not enjoy. read more

Island was on point today I ordered the point break hamburger medium well & it was perfect. I didn't care for the fries but my burger was delicious. On top of the food being good, the service was awesome. I love how they open the door for you as you walk-in. Phil was our server and he was great. He got our drinks & appetizer started quickly. Once again, amazing service! Went in for drinks and appetizers so sat in bar. Brian the manager always makes it a point to come over and say hi. And remembers us. This time I ordered teriyaki wings. The kitchen accidently made them buffalo. So since they remade. They comped my order. They didn't have to do that I was fine waiting a couple minutes. Islands has always been one of my favorites. Consistently good food and a laid back atmosphere. However, it's one of those places where I just don't see the value. My wife and I went here today and for two drinks and two burgers it was $33 with tip. I just think there are a lot of other places you could go and get a lot more for the money. Yard House is just down the street and is soooo much better and similarly priced. I know Islands raised their prices recently but the quality and selection didn't change. If you go, you won't be disappointed, just don't expect to be overwhelmed. read more

Enjoy coming here for numerous reasons, but the main one is the staff and the beer! Manager has done a fine job. I think the only thing they could do to improve is get rid of bud light on tap, and switch it with Miller lite. Great place though! read more

I had a root beer float & a burger on whole wheat. Both were delicious. Sorry it took me this long to find this really great restaurant! The root beer float came with 2 glasses, one was filled with extra root beer. I felt like I was back in the 60's when they knew how to make a soda fountain drink! Nick was a fantastic server and kept our drinks full and checked on us frequently to make sure all of our needs were met. He was refreshingly polite and courteous. I have been to Islands before but first time at this location. I ordered online thru Door Dash, the Big Wave with cheese, and without all the veggies, tomato, lettuce, pickles, onions, and medium well done. Arrived on time, no issues there, but the burger had all the toppings and was medium rare, Way too pink inside. I also asked for ranch, which costs extra, and did not receive any at all. Me and my daughter ate here last night and it was wonderful. Great food, I tried the Tortilla Soup for the first time, even though we are repeat customers. It is fabulous! Love this place. Most Islands are the same but the staff here is really on point. I was happy to see that they have Sierra Nevada Celebration on tap already......Love it!
